Δευτερονόμιον 10

1 ἐν ἐκείνῳ τῷ καιρῷ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με λάξευσον σεαυτῷ δύο πλάκας λιθίνας ὥσπερ τὰς πρώτας καὶ ἀνάβηθι πρός με εἰς τὸ ὄρος καὶ ποιήσεις σεαυτῷ κιβωτὸν ξυλίνην

In that tyme the Lord seide to me, Hewe thou twei tablis of stoon to thee, as the formere weren; and stie thou to me `in to the hil. And thou schalt make an arke,

2 καὶ γράψω ἐπὶ τὰς πλάκας τὰ ῥήματα ἃ ἦν ἐν ταῖς πλαξὶν ταῖς πρώταις ἃς συνέτριψας καὶ ἐμβαλεῖς αὐτὰς εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν

`ether a cofere, of tree, and Y schal write in the tablis, the wordis that weren in these tablis whiche thou brakist bifore; and thou schalt putte tho tablis in to the arke.

3 καὶ ἐποίησα κιβωτὸν ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων καὶ ἐλάξευσα τὰς δύο πλάκας τὰς λιθίνας ὡς αἱ πρῶται καὶ ἀνέβην εἰς τὸ ὄρος καὶ αἱ δύο πλάκες ἐπὶ ταῖς χερσίν μου

Therfor Y made an ark of the trees of Sechim, and whanne Y hadde hewe twei tablis of stoon, at the licnesse of the formere tablis, Y stiede in to the hil, and hadde the tablis in the hondis.

4 καὶ ἔγραψεν ἐπὶ τὰς πλάκας κατὰ τὴν γραφὴν τὴν πρώτην τοὺς δέκα λόγους οὓς ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐν τῷ ὄρει ἐκ μέσου τοῦ πυρός καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὰς κύριος ἐμοί

And he wroot in the tablis, bi that that he `hadde writun bifore, ten wordis, whiche the Lord spak to you in the hil, fro the myddis of the fyer, whanne the puple was gaderid, and he yaf the tablis to me.

5 καὶ ἐπιστρέψας κατέβην ἐκ τοῦ ὄρους καὶ ἐνέβαλον τὰς πλάκας εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν ἣν ἐποίησα καὶ ἦσαν ἐκεῖ καθὰ ἐνετείλατό μοι κύριος

And Y turnide ayen fro the hil, and cam doun, and puttide the tablis in to the arke which Y hadde maad, `whiche tablis ben there hidur to, as the Lord comaundide to me.

6 καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Βηρωθ υἱῶν Ιακιμ Μισαδαι ἐκεῖ ἀπέθανεν Ααρων καὶ ἐτάφη ἐκεῖ καὶ ἱεράτευσεν Ελεαζαρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἀντ’ αὐτοῦ

Forsothe the sones of Israel moueden tentis fro Beroth of the sones of Jachan in to Mosera, where Aaron was deed, and biried, for whom his sone Eleazar was set in preesthod.

7 ἐκεῖθεν ἀπῆραν εἰς Γαδγαδ καὶ ἀπὸ Γαδγαδ εἰς Ετεβαθα γῆ χείμαρροι ὑδάτων

Fro thennus thei camen in to Galgad; fro which place thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in Jehabatha, in the lond of watris and of strondis.

8 ἐν ἐκείνῳ τῷ καιρῷ διέστειλεν κύριος τὴν φυλὴν τὴν Λευι αἴρειν τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης κυρίου παρεστάναι ἔναντι κυρίου λειτουργεῖν καὶ ἐπεύχεσθαι ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης

In that tyme Y departide the lynage of Leuy, that it schulde bere the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, and schulde stonde bifor hym in seruyce, and schulde blesse in his name til in to present dai.

9 διὰ τοῦτο οὐκ ἔστιν τοῖς Λευίταις μερὶς καὶ κλῆρος ἐν τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς αὐτῶν κύριος αὐτὸς κλῆρος αὐτοῦ καθὰ εἶπεν αὐτῷ

For which thing Leuy hadde not part, nether possession with hise brithren, for the Lord hym silf is his possessioun, as thi Lord God bihiyte to hym.

10 κἀγὼ εἱστήκειν ἐν τῷ ὄρει τεσσαράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσαράκοντα νύκτας καὶ εἰσήκουσεν κύριος ἐμοῦ καὶ ἐν τῷ καιρῷ τούτῳ καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησεν κύριος ἐξολεθρεῦσαι ὑμᾶς

Forsothe Y stood in the hil as bifore, fourti daies and fourti niytis, and the Lord herde me also in this tyme, and nolde leese thee.

11 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με βάδιζε ἄπαρον ἐναντίον τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου καὶ εἰσπορευέσθωσαν καὶ κληρονομείτωσαν τὴν γῆν ἣν ὤμοσα τοῖς πατράσιν αὐτῶν δοῦναι αὐτοῖς

And he seide to me, Go thou, and go bifor this puple, that it entre, and welde the lond which Y swoor to her fadris, that Y schulde yeue to hem.

12 καὶ νῦν Ισραηλ τί κύριος ὁ θεός σου αἰτεῖται παρὰ σοῦ ἀλλ’ ἢ φοβεῖσθαι κύριον τὸν θεόν σου πορεύεσθαι ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀγαπᾶν αὐτὸν καὶ λατρεύειν κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς σου

And now, Israel, what axith thi Lord God of thee, no but that thou drede thi Lord, and go in hise weies, and that thou loue hym, and serue thi Lord God in al thin herte, and in al thi soule;

13 φυλάσσεσθαι τὰς ἐντολὰς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτοῦ ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον ἵνα εὖ σοι ᾖ

and that thou kepe the comaundementis of thi Lord God, and the cerymonyes of hym, whiche Y comaunde to thee to dai, that it be wel to thee.

14 ἰδοὺ κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ὁ οὐρανὸς τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἡ γῆ καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν ἐν αὐτῇ

Lo! heuene is of thi Lord God, and heuene of heuene; the erthe and alle thingis that ben ther ynne ben hise;

15 πλὴν τοὺς πατέρας ὑμῶν προείλατο κύριος ἀγαπᾶν αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐξελέξατο τὸ σπέρμα αὐτῶν μετ’ αὐτοὺς ὑμᾶς παρὰ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη κατὰ τὴν ἡμέραν ταύτην

and netheles the Lord was glued to thi fadris, and louede hem, and he chees her seed after hem, and you of alle folkis, as it is preued to dai.

16 καὶ περιτεμεῖσθε τὴν σκληροκαρδίαν ὑμῶν καὶ τὸν τράχηλον ὑμῶν οὐ σκληρυνεῖτε ἔτι

Therfor circumcide ye the prepucie, `ethir vnclennesse, of youre herte, and no more make ye harde youre nol.

17 ὁ γὰρ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν οὗτος θεὸς τῶν θεῶν καὶ κύριος τῶν κυρίων ὁ θεὸς ὁ μέγας καὶ ἰσχυρὸς καὶ ὁ φοβερός ὅστις οὐ θαυμάζει πρόσωπον οὐδ’ οὐ μὴ λάβῃ δῶρον

For youre Lord God hym silf is God of goddis, and Lord of lordis, `God greet, and miyti, and feerdful, which takith not persoone, nether yiftis.

18 ποιῶν κρίσιν προσηλύτῳ καὶ ὀρφανῷ καὶ χήρᾳ καὶ ἀγαπᾷ τὸν προσήλυτον δοῦναι αὐτῷ ἄρτον καὶ ἱμάτιον

He makith doom to the fadirles, and modirles, and to the widewe; he loueth a pilgrym, and yyueth to hym lyiflode and clothing.

19 καὶ ἀγαπήσετε τὸν προσήλυτον προσήλυτοι γὰρ ἦτε ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ

And therfor `loue ye pilgryms, for also ye weren comelyngis in the lond of Egipt.

20 κύριον τὸν θεόν σου φοβηθήσῃ καὶ αὐτῷ λατρεύσεις καὶ πρὸς αὐτὸν κολληθήσῃ καὶ τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ ὀμῇ

Thou schalt drede thi Lord God, and thou schalt serue hym aloone, and thou schalt cleue to hym, and thou schalt swere in his name.

21 οὗτος καύχημά σου καὶ οὗτος θεός σου ὅστις ἐποίησεν ἐν σοὶ τὰ μεγάλα καὶ τὰ ἔνδοξα ταῦτα ἃ εἴδοσαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί σου

He is thi preisyng, and thi God, that made to thee these grete dedis, and ferdful, whiche thin iyen siyen.

22 ἐν ἑβδομήκοντα ψυχαῖς κατέβησαν οἱ πατέρες σου εἰς Αἴγυπτον νυνὶ δὲ ἐποίησέν σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὡσεὶ τὰ ἄστρα τοῦ οὐρανοῦ τῷ πλήθει

In seuenti men thi fadris yeden doun in to Egipt, and lo! now thi Lord God hath multiplied thee as the sterris of heuene.
