Jufi nba bado bo kpaani k ban kpagu
After these things Jesus resided in Galilee: for He would not appear in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him.
2 . Jufi nba jaam yaali ki yii jondi jaami bo nagi.
Now the Jews feast called the feast of tabernacles was near;
K a ŋuantieba n fidi la a tuona yaali k a suani.
his brethren therefore said, Depart from hence, and go into Judea, that thy disciples there also may see the works which thou performest.
4 Nilo k wuo wan suani ya tuonli: a ya suani lan tuonli kuli, mɔndi ŋanduna nib kuli n band a.
For no man doth any thing in secret, who is himself desirous to be known in public. As thou dost these wonderful things, make thyself known to the world.
For neither did his brethren believe in Him.
Then saith Jesus unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always alike ready; for the world cannot hate you:
7 ŋanduna kan fidi ki kuad i, min, o kuadn, ki dugni n tie o sieda yua n wang o k o tuona ki ŋani.
but me it hates, because I bear my testimony concerning it, that it's deeds are evil.
Go ye up to this feast as soon as ye please; for I am not yet going up to it, because my time is not yet fully come.
9 Wan maadi ba k gben, k o ñindi Galile
And after He had said these things unto them, He stayed a while in Galilee.
10 O ninjab n doni mi jaam po, li puoli po k o ŋɔd li wuolin k bi niba k lagu.
But when his brethren were gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not in a public manner but as it were in private.
The Jews therefore sought for Him at the feast, and said, Where is He?
12 O niwuligun nni bi maadi o po ki tua: o tie nimɔni (ŋantaadi daani), bi tianbi mɔ ya po: n n, o bɔndi bi niba(o tiendi ti belbɔndi).
And there was much murmuring among the people concerning Him: for some said, He is a good man; others said, No: He deceiveth the people.
No one however spake openly in favor of Him, for fear of the Jews.
But when it was now about the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught.
And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, who never learnt?
16 K Jesu ŋmianba: n yikod k tie n yali ka, ama yua n sɔn nni yali
Jesus answered them and said, The doctrine that I teach is not mine, but his that sent me.
17 Yua bua tie o buam, o b bandi ki lia n yikod ñaa U Tienu kani bii n palu po.
If any man desire to do his will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
18 Yua maadi o yuli po, kpaani o ñuadi baba i, ama, yua kpaani yua n sɔn o ya ñuadi, tie yua mɔni k k bua jɔdi ki maadi i mɔmɔni o ba nni.
He, that speaketh from himself, seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh the glory of Him that sent him is true, and there is no imposture in him.
Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you observeth the law? wherefore else do ye seek to kill me?
20 K o niwuligu guani ji jiin o: ti cicibiadm ŋua a. Bi le n kpaani ki ban kpa a ni?
The people answered and said, Thou art possessed by a demon: who seeketh to kill thee?
Jesus answered and said unto them, I performed one miracle on the sabbath, and ye are all amazed at it.
22 Moyiis bo teni yin ba cɔlni, l bo ki ñani Moyiis kan ka, li bo cili yajaanba kani ki ti kɔndi bo cili, k a kɔndi saaba daali
Now Moses gave you the law of circumcision, (not that it is originally from Moses, but from the patriarchs, ) and ye circumcise even on the sabbath:
23 Nil ya gaa ti kɔndi saaba daali k nan cɔlni Moyiis yikodi, be ya po i ki kɔn yen n k paagi o yiamo saaba daali?
if then a man receive circumcision on the sabbath-day, that the law of Moses may not be broken; are ye angry with me, because I made a man perfectly well on the sabbath-day?
24 Da bu mani yeni lugdm ama ya bu mani yeni i mɔmɔni
Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgement.
25 Jerusalema yaaba siiga, b tianba ń yedi, “Ban lingi yua ki bua kpa ka ne ee?”
Therefore some of those of Jerusalem said, Is not this He whom they seek to put to death?
and here He talketh openly, and they say nothing to Him: Do the rulers indeed know, that this is in truth the Messiah?
27 Ama ti bani li nilo ń ñani naankani wani.”
But we know whence this man is; whereas when Christ cometh, no one knoweth whence He is.
28 Ke Jesu tandi ku jaandiegu nni, ki tundi, ki tua, “I bani nni, ki go bani min ñani naani. N ki cua n yuli po ka, Yua n sɔni nni yeni tie o mɔmɔndaano i, i ki bani o.
Jesus therefore cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, Ye both know me, ye say, and ye know whence I am: now I am not come of myself, but He that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
29 N bani o, kelima n nani o kani i, wani n sɔni nni.
But I know Him, for I am from Him, and He hath sent me.
They sought therefore to seize Him, but no one laid hand on Him, because his hour was not yet come.
And many of the people believed on Him, and said, When the Messiah cometh, will He do more miracles than this man hath done?
32 Farisienba den gbadi ke ku niwulgu sɔbni ki maadi li Jesu maama, ke salga yidkaaba yeni Farisienba sɔni a jakɔnda yudanba, ke ban cuo o.
Now the pharisees heard the people murmuring these things concerning Him: and they, with the chief priests, sent officers to seize Him.
33 Ke Jesu yedi, “N dá ye yeni yi u you waamu, ki ba ti yuandi ki guani yua n sɔni nni po.
Therefore Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while I am to be among you, and then I shall go to Him that sent me.
34 I ba lingi nni, ama, i kan la nni; min caa naani, i kan fidi ki cua likani.”
Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am to be, ye cannot come.
Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will He go, that we shall not find Him? will He go to them that are dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
36 Wan maadi ya maama ne mɔ tie be i, 'I ba lingi nni, i kan la nni; min caa naankani, i kan fidi ki pundi likani'?”
What is the meaning of this speech, that He said, "Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am to be, ye cannot come?"
And on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If any one thirst, let him come unto me and drink.
38 Nani i diani nni, lan yedi yaali maama, “Yua n dugi n po, li miali kpenu ñima ba puubi o niinni.
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, rivers of living water shall flow from within him.
(This He spake of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive; for the holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)
40 Ku niwulgu nni, nitianba ń gbadi lanya maama, ke bi yedi, “O li tie sawalpualo i yeni i mɔni.”
Many of the people therefore, when they heard this discourse, said, This is in truth a prophet.
41 Ke nitianba yedi, “Kiristo n yeni.” Ama ke nitianba mo yedi, “Kiristo ñani Galile yo oo?
Others said, This is the Messiah. But some said, Shall the Messiah come out of Galilee?
42 I diani nni, bi ki yedi ke Kiristo ba ña Dafiidi cugli nni ka aa, ki tie Betehema, Dafiidi dongbanli nni ka aa?”
Hath not the Scripture said, that Christ cometh of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the town whence David was.
So there was a division among the people about Him.
44 Nitianba den bua ban cuo o, ama obakuli den i maani o nuu o po.
And some among them would have seized Him: but no one laid hands on Him.
45 Ke sejenba yudanba guani ki la salga yidkaaba yeni farisienba, ke bi buali ba, “Li tieni ledi i, ke yii guani yeni o?”
Then came the officers to the chief priests and pharisees, and they said, Why have ye not brought Him? and the officers answered,
46 Ke sejenba yudanba jiini, “Tii kpeli ki la ya nilo n maadi nani wani yeni.”
Never man spake like this man.
47 Ke farisienba buali ba, “i mɔ bodi n yeni ii?
The pharisees therefore answered them, Are ye also deceived?
have any of the rulers believed on Him, or of the pharisees?
but these people, who know not the law, are cursed.
Upon this Nicodemus, (who came to Him by night)
51 Ti yiko cabi ke ban jia nilo ti buudi kaa cengi o ki bandi wan tieni yaali ii?
being one of them, saith to them, Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he hath done?
They replied, Art thou also of Galilee? Search and see: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.
53 Bi den yadi ke yuakuli kuni o denpo.
And every man went to his own house.
