< Galati 5 >
1 Kristo ñani ti ti yonbdi nni, ke tin yali tibá i cain.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be encumbered once more by a yoke of slavery.
2 Yin ŋanbi ki cengi min Pɔli n maadi yaala ne: I ya cedi ke bi kɔndi yi, Kristo n tieni yaala ji kan ya lbá yipo.
Take notice: I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.
Again I testify to every man who gets himself circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.
4 Yaaba n kpaani ke ban cɔlni yiko ki tua bi nimɔnba U Tienu nunga yeni, paadi leni Kristo, ki ñani U Tienu ŋalbalgo nni.
You who are trying to be justified by the law have been severed from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
5 Tinba wan dugi ke mi Foŋanma n ba cedi ti dudugdi po tin tua nimɔnba U Tienu nunga nni.
But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the hope of righteousness.
6 Kelima Jesu Kristo nni, a kɔndi ii, ŋaa kɔndi ii, laa pugdi lbá.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. All that matters is faith, expressed through love.
7 Yin bo tiini ke li ŋani: ŋma bo jia yi sanu, ki pani yi ke yin da cɔlni i mɔmɔni?
You were running so well. Who has obstructed you from obeying the truth?
8 Yaala n pani yeni ki ñani yua n yini i kan kaa.
Such persuasion does not come from the One who calls you.
A little leaven works through the whole batch of dough.
10 N pali paa yi po, ti Yonbdaano nni, ke yi maalma kan kpiadi. Ama yua n ba ŋmadi yi yama, ya tie bá yua, U Tienu ba dadi o tubli.
I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is troubling you will bear the judgment, whoever he may be.
11 Ke mini ii, n kpiiba, li ya tie ke n gɔ muandi ke bi niba n kɔndi, be ya po i ke bi gɔ wang nni fala? Kristo kuuma li dapɔnpɔnli po ji kan ya ku yaalidgu!
Now, brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.
As for those who are agitating you, I wish they would proceed to emasculate themselves!
13 N kpiiba, U Tienu yini yi ke yin yali yi bá i, li ki tie lan ya po yin ji ya ye ti gbannandi nni ka. Ama, ya tuuni man ki todi yi llieba lan waani ke i bua ba.
For you, brothers, were called to freedom; but do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh. Rather, serve one another in love.
14 Kelima, yiko kuli taani ki ye ñɔmaayenma nni: Ya bua a lielo nani fini yeni.
The entire law is fulfilled in a single decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
But if you keep on biting and devouring one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another.
16 Lan wan ii, cedi man mi Foŋanma ń ya ŋmagdi yi yenyienu, yeni yi ji kan fidi ki ya tuuni yi gbannandi n niani yaala ke laa ŋani.
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you want.
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 O nulo gbannandi nianbiidi n kuandi o, mi conconma nni, jɔgndtuona nni, ti cagndi,
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery;
20 a pada nni, li ñɔgdili, ti yibalindi, a kɔnkɔna, ki nanga, li pabienli, ku ñɔniagu, mi paadma, li ponponbiadli,
idolatry and sorcery; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions,
21 li dañubiadli, ku jewuugu, leni laa bonbuoli kuli. n maadi yi nani min bo kpia ki maadi yi yeni, yua tuuni lani kan kua U Tienu Diema nni.
and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 Ama, mi Foŋanma bonluankaala n tie, mi buama, li pamanli, mi yanduanma, li pañiili, mi todma, mi ŋanma tienma, mi tegnma, mi pasɔngma, mi yandingma;
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 U Tienu ñɔmaama ki yie laa bona.
gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24 Yaaba n tie Jesu Kristo yaaba wan taa bi gbannandi buama leni ti nianbiidi ki kpaa li dapɔnpɔnli po i.
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Since we live by the Spirit, let us walk in step with the Spirit.
Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying one another.
