< Efesia 4 >

As a prisoner in the Lord, then, I urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received:
2 Yi yaa jiindi i ba yogu kuli ki ya pia li pasɔngili yeni li mindili gi yi bàà sugili i lieba po. Lan kuli mbuama nni.
with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
3 Mɔndi mani ki ya táá nɔbu ki ya ye yeni i lieba m yanduanma nni
and with diligence to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
4 B dugikaaba kuli tie gbannanyendo i. U Tienu fuoma mɔ tie yendo i ke b gɔ lugidi n ke u Tienu n puoni yaali kuli n tieni
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called;
5 O candaano tie yendoYesu kilisi yua ke t kuli daani. K gɔ ya bani ke m ñinwulima mɔ tie yenli Jesu yeli po.
one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6 U Tienu tie yendi ki tie t kuli báa wani n ye t kuli niinn ki suani o tuonli
one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
7 U Tienu buama nni ke u teni Dugkaa kuli m tagimi paabi nani yua kuli n bua maam.
Now to each one of us grace has been given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Nani lan bo diani maama a tila nni: o gedi yeni i yonmi t yonbidi nni. K gɔ teni u buolu u paabu
This is why it says: “When He ascended on high, He led captives away, and gave gifts to men.”
What does “He ascended” mean, except that He also descended to the lower parts of the earth?
He who descended is the very One who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.
11 O lugidi b dugikatɔba ke b tie tondikaaba, tianbi saawalipuala, laabaalŋanmo tundikaaba, pateri-nba bii tundikaaba.
And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,
12 Li tieni n yeni ke lan fidi bobini u Tienu niba. Ban fidi sɔni li tuonli lan buali maam k gɔ todi kilisi yaaba kuli ban paa m tagima nni
to equip the saints for works of ministry and to build up the body of Christ,
13 Wan ŋanbi bua yali tie ke t kuli n ŋanbi ki ya pia dudugiyenli; ki ŋanbi bandi u Tienu bijua, ki kpedi ki yaa tie nani yaaba n bandi kilisi k gbeni canyiin yeni.
until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ.
14 Lan fidi t daa tie nani bila yua ke b baa fidi pua'o faama yeni.
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed about by the waves and carried around by every wind of teaching and by the clever cunning of men in their deceitful scheming.
15 Ama t baa bua u Tienu k gɔ dugi a tunda po ki mɔ ti fidi nandi yeni Yesu
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ Himself, who is the head.
From Him the whole body, fitted and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love through the work of each individual part.
17 Lani po n cedi ke n paandi i pala t diedo ke i yenma n daa tie nani yaaba ki bani u Tienu yeni
So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.
18 B kan fidi tieni li yantiali ki bandi yaa tie faagu bii mɔnmɔni
They are darkened in their understanding and alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts.
19 B ji k bani fei k ji suani ya tuona k nua; b gɔ ji kan fidi cuo bi ba yeni t jɔgintuona.
Having lost all sense of shame, they have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity, with a craving for more.
20 Ama i bandi ke Kirisi boo tie yeni kaa
But this is not the way you came to know Christ.
21 Nanai yi ji gbadi Kirisi maama ke o gɔ tundi yeni; i ji bandi ke m yeŋanma tie ti ya tuagi Yesu n waan'ti maama i.
Surely you heard of Him and were taught in Him—in keeping with the truth that is in Jesus—
22 Jesu bo tundi 'ti ke ti ñɔli ti tɔgikpeli yeni t maalbiidi yaaldi o nilo.
to put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
23 Li tie taladi yi lebidi i maalma.
to be renewed in the spirit of your minds;
24 ki guani taa i mɔnmɔni maalŋanma yua ke u Tienu bua; nani ya niba n paadi bi bá ki ji cuoni Yesu ŋandi n yene.
and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
25 Lan wani i ji ŋaa k daa pua i lieba faama ki dugini t kuli ne ji tie u Tienu diema yaaba i.
Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one another.
26 Apali ya bɔndi ŋan daa ŋaa a pabɔnli n cua yeni t biidi bii ŋan ba t biidi nni. A mɔndi ŋaa li muituoli ke u yienu daa ba.
“Be angry, yet do not sin.” Do not let the sun set upon your anger,
27 Lani tie ŋan daa ŋaa sitaani n bigin'a ŋan baa t biidi nni.
and do not give the devil a foothold.
28 yaaba n jaani ban ji daa jaani ban ŋmigidi ki sɔni li tuonli ŋanma, ki kubi b yula ki gɔ fidi tod'i bii ki ñani yaaba n ye m cacagma nni
He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing good with his own hands, that he may have something to share with the one in need.
Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up the one in need and bringing grace to those who listen.
30 Daa biidi mani u Tienu fuoŋanma i maama nni yeni i maalima nni. kelima wan taani 'ti ki tie t guudima ki ba ñani'ti t biidi nni.
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Daa pia mani langbina i lieba po, u tugutongu, m biadima.
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice.
32 Yi ya mani yeni i lieba, ki pia m niñinma i lieba po ki báá sugili nani u Tienu n bo teni 'ti faala kirisi niinn yeni.
Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.
