< 2 Timote 2 >

1 Fini n big, ya pagd a pal yen ya ŋalbalgin yen yesu kilisu niini.
Thou therefore, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus;
2 A tunda yal k a bang n kan k kasielb bocial tuo a po, bogdli ya nub k a dan bi po k ba fid ki wan bitab.
and the things which thou didst hear from me before many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, such as will be able to teach others also.
3 ŋan tuo ki ga fala yen nni, nan yesu kilisu ya nannangu yen.
Endure hardship with me as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
4 Yua n kua t sojed k bua wan mang o canba pal kan jɔd o yeyienu boam bona po.
No one serving as a soldier entangleth himself with the affairs of life, that he may please him who chose him to be a soldier.
5 Nasanlo k o ga e panpan kaa cɔnln ban blo ya kuana.
And if a man contendeth in the games, he is not crowned, unless he contendeth lawfully.
6 Ya kpakuolo n ko paa n tie yua n ba cil ki mang o pal taagu po.
The husbandman that laboreth must be the first partaker of the fruits.
7 Maal ŋamma min mara yal yen yom dan ba nan gbad l bona kul.
Understand what I say; for the Lord will give thee apprehension in all things.
8 Fin n tiad yesu kilisu po, yua fi bi kpienb sigan, dafid yabil, yal naan yen min muandi ya labal.
Bear in mind Jesus Christ of the seed of David, as raised from the dead, according to my gospel;
9 Lan labal poe kin cangin, hal ki ban lolin nan o kukpal yen. O tienu maam, lan wan ki luol.
in which I suffer hardship even unto bonds as an evil-doer; but the word of God is not bound.
10 N gan li maaba kul yen li junl, kilisu yab ya po k o tienu gagd, lan fid bimɔn la ya fabu n yesu kilisu, yen ya kpagidi n ki pia gben yen yal yeg yenl. (aiōnios g166)
For this cause I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus, with everlasting glory. (aiōnios g166)
11 Klma li maama tie moamoɔn ne: li ya tua k t kpe yen o, yen wan, ti ba fuo yen o.
True is the saying: for if we died with him, we shall also live with him;
12 Li ya tua ki ti tugn yen o t ba pia o palu. Ama ti ya yieo omoɔ ba yie ti.
if we endure, we shall also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us;
13 Ti yaa tieg yeno, wan wan baa ye n tiegman klma o kan fid ki yie o ba.
if we are faithless, he remaineth faithful; for he cannot deny himself.
14 Lane ki li bual min ya tiada yog kul. O tienu ki bua n niam: la pugd pu. Li yaa tie lan bid yab n song yaa ka.
Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord not to carry on a strife of words, to no useful purpose, but rather to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Pag aba ki sed o tienu nug nan ya nulo n bobn, k kua li tuonl kaa pia wansan k ŋa li tuonl, klma o wangi o tienu maam yen e mumɔn.
Study to present thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 ŋa ti miyoyod yen yamb n k tie li dandal yab. yab ta bi ba k tenb, b fagd yogu kul yen o tienu.
But shun the profane babblings; for they will go on to a higher degree of ungodliness;
17 Li nub maam tie nan li bofuodl yen ki li ŋman k ban gben t gbanand. Li tie nan d yimane yen filet yene.
and their word will eat as doth a canker; of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus,
18 Bi den fagd e mon ki mali kin yiedm tienped o, yeni, bi ji ye ki ŋand bocianl li dandanln.
who have erred concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection hath already taken place, and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Li yogunu goga, o tienu tan pupal se yen no maam yal tie o po bam: yomdan baan yaab n tie o yaab, yua n taa yomdan yel kul ba fagidi yen o. yam i dan ban yab tie o nub “yua n ye ki o tie ti yom i dan, wan fagd ti bid.”
Nevertheless God's firm foundation standeth, having this seal, “The Lord knoweth them that are his;” and, “Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.”
20 O dieciangun, wula yen a ligi babaa bi be ka ye, li yɔgli yen ti dad ya boba. Cincin na yal tie b yumandaciab yi yale. A tien a mɔn na tagn kul.
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also wooden and earthen ones; and some for honor, and some for dishonor.
21 Li ŋan, nulo ya cua oba min mad yal kul po. o baa tie ya bobl n bobn a tuonŋanma po, k gud pli pli, ki mon o danopo, ki pia n yaam a tuonŋanna kul po.
If then any one shall purge himself from these, he will be a vessel for honor, hallowed, useful for the householder, prepared for every good work.
22 Fagd yen ya yeyienu n ba bid o nupano. Sɔn a palyukiba l dandanl, n buam, yen n yanduam yen ya dab n ban o tienu.
But flee youthful lusts, and follow righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23 Yie ti yajaga bid yen yayajaga n ki pia tanpul; a ban kili cuon yen a konkona.
But the foolish and ignorant questionings avoid, knowing that they gender quarrels;
24 Ama, la wan ti yomdan o tuinsonlo wan ya pia konkona. li bɔl ki wan ya pia n buam yua kul po. Ki ba fid tund, ki go ga amaaba.
and a servant of the Lord must not quarrel, but be gentle to all, apt in teaching, patient of wrong,
25 O ba ŋagd yen li pisonl yab n ki ban o tienu. ŋaa ban o tienu ya kan lebd bi yeyienu ban baa emonn?
in meekness admonishing those that oppose themselves; if haply God may give them repentance to attain the full knowledge of the truth,
26 bi ba guan ki ba bi yeyien ŋannu ki ŋan stan jalm yal n kub ti yonbdan ki bi suan o buam.
and they may awake to their senses out of the snare of the Devil, by whom they have been taken captive to do his will.
