Everyone who is believing that Jesus is the Christ has been begotten of God, and everyone who is loving Him who begot, also loves him who is begotten of Him.

In this we know that we love the children of God, when we may love God and may keep His commands;

for this is the love of God, that we may keep His commands, and His commands are not burdensome;

because everyone who is begotten of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcame the world—our faith.

5 ŋma n tie ya nilo n paa ki cie yaali n ki ŋua U Tienu? Li tie yua dugi ke Jesu tie U Tienu Bijua.

Who is he who is overcoming the world, if not he who is believing that Jesus is the Son of God?

6 Yin maali Jesu kirisiti po. O tie yua n ñani U Tienu kani, ki jiidi ki tinga po. U Tienu kadi ki waani ke wani n sɔni Jesu ya yognu ke Jan wuli Jesu mi ñima nni. Ama o kuuma puoli, mi sɔma bo ñani o gbanu nni. K U Tienu foŋanma saa i mɔni, ke Jesu Kirisiti ñani U Tienu kani i.

This One is He who came through water and blood—Jesus the Christ, not in water only, but in the water and the blood; and the Spirit is the [One] testifying, because the Spirit is the truth,

7 Lani bona taa ne tie nani nibuoli taa n saa i mɔni yeni.

because [there] are three who are testifying [[in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one;

8 U Tienu Foŋanma jiidi mi ñima nni Jan ń wuli Jesu ya yognu, yeni Jesu sɔma ń ñani o gbanu nni, wan kpe ya yognu li dap. oɔnpɔnli po. Lani bona taa kuli maadi ti bonyenli i, Ke Jesu ñani U Tienu kani.

and [there] are three who are testifying in the earth]]: the Spirit, and the water, and the blood, and the three are into the one.

9 Ti maani ki dugi nitɔba ń maadi ti yaali. Ama ti bi baa dugi U Tienu ń yedi yaali ke mabli bá ki ye. Ke o go tuodi ki waani yaali n nua o Bijua po

If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, because this is the testimony of God that He has testified concerning His Son.

10 Yaaba n dugi U Tienu Bijua po bani bi yenyienu nni yaali n tie mɔmɔni, o po. Ama yaaba n ki dugi U Tienu ń yedi yaali yi o mi tofaama daano i, kelima bi yie kaa dugi U Tienu ń tuodi ki waani yaali o Bijua po

He who is believing in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; he who is not believing God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning His Son;

11 U Tienu ń yedi ti yaali n ne: “N puni yi ya miali n ki pia gbenma” Ti baa tundi ki fo, li ya tie ke ti kubni ti bá o Bijua nui nni. (aiōnios g166)

and this is the testimony, that God gave continuous life to us, and this life is in His Son; (aiōnios g166)

12 Yaaba kubni biyuli U Tienu Bijua nui nni baa tundi k fo leni U Tienu. Yaaba n ki kubni bi yula o nui nni, kan ya tundi ki ye.

he who is having the Son has life; he who is not having the Son of God does not have life.

13 N diani ya tili ne yaaba n dugi ke Jesu tie U Tienu Bijua, lan fidi ki todi yin ya tundi ki ye. (aiōnios g166)

I wrote these things to you who are believing in the Name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have continuous life, and that you may believe in the Name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)

14 Tin kubni ti yuli o nui nni yeni, ti daani boncianla ke o cengi ti, li ya tie ke ti mia o ke wan tieni yaali kuli, o yen tuo i.

And this is the boldness that we have toward Him, that if we may ask anything according to His will, He hears us,

15 Ke ti ya bani ke o cengi ti, tin mia o yaali kuli, lanwani i, ti ba fidi ki ya daani ke tin mia yaali kuli.

and if we have known that He hears us, whatever we may ask, we have known that we have the requests that we have requested from Him.

If anyone may see his brother sinning a sin [that is] not to death, he will ask, and He will give life to him—to those not sinning to death; there is sin to death—I do not say that he may ask concerning it;

all unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin [that is] not to death.

18 Ti bani ke nilo ya tie U Tienu biga, o kan ya tundi ki tie ti tuobiadi, ki ledi. Kelima U Tienu Bijua guu o ke Setaani, o biado ń da duoli o.

We have known that everyone who has been begotten of God does not sin, but He who was begotten of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him;

19 Ti bani ke ti tie U Tienu bila i, ama o biado n kubi ŋanduna kuli.

we have known that we are of God, and the whole world lies [under the power] of the evil [one];

20 Ti go bani ke U Tienu Bijua cua ti siiga, ki puni ti u paalu ke tin gbadi i mɔmɔni; ti kubni ti yuli wani yua tie i mɔni U Tienu Bijua, Jesu Kirisiti nui nni. Jesu Kirisiti tie U Tienu leni i mɔni, ke wani n puni ti u paalu ke ti baa ya miali n ki pia gbenma. (aiōnios g166)

but we have known that the Son of God has come, and has given us a mind that we may know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ; this One is the true God and the continuous Life! (aiōnios g166)

21 N yedi yi, yinba yaaba n tie n buakaaba, fangi mani i yula ki da ŋua ya tieni n ki pia paamɔnu

Little children, guard yourselves from idols! Amen.
