< 1 Jan 4 >
1 N buakaaba, bi niba boncianla yaaba n kubi mi tofaama laabaali wangi bi dogtieba lanya laabaalo i. Ama, li buali ke yin kpaagi boŋanla ki cengi ban tundi maama, yeni i, i ba bandi bi bangima ŋua U Tienu mɔmɔni bii maa ŋua i.
Beloved, every spirit believe not, but prove the spirits, if of God they are, because many false prophets have gone forth to the world;
2 N ba waani yi yin ba tieni maama ki bandi nilo ya wangi ya mɔmɔni n ñani U Tienu foŋanma kani. Yaaba n kadi ki maadi ke Jesu Kirisiti ñani U Tienu kani, ki tua nilo nani tinba wangi ya laabaali n ñani U Tienu kani
in this know ye the Spirit of God; every spirit that doth confess Jesus Christ in the flesh having come, of God it is,
Bi tie Kirisiti yiekaaba ya tundkaaba i. I gbadi ke bi niba bua ban pundi ti siiga. Bá mɔla, bi ji ye ne i.
and every spirit that doth not confess Jesus Christ in the flesh having come, of God it is not; and this is that of the antichrist, which ye heard that it doth come, and now in the world it is already.
4 Nani yinba ń tie n buakaaba yeni i, i tie U Tienu yaaba i, ki yie kaa dugi ban wangi yaali, kelima U Tienu yua n paani i pala ke i tiendi wan bua yaali pia u paalu, ki cie ŋanduna yua.
Ye — of God ye are, little children, and ye have overcome them; because greater is He who [is] in you, than he who is in the world.
5 Ti ya diidi yaaba n wangi mi tofaama yeni, bani leni bi niba tie yaaba n yie ke bi kan kpiagi Jesu yeli i. Lani n cedi ke ban maadi yaali ñini ŋanduna ne niba kani i, lan n cedi ke li niba mo cengi ba.
They — of the world they are; because of this from the world they speak, and the world doth hear them;
6 Tinba wani tie U Tienu yaaba i. Yua n bani U Tienu kuli cengi tin tundi ba yaala.
we — of God we are; he who is knowing God doth hear us; he who is not of God, doth not hear us; from this we know the spirit of the truth, and the spirit of the error.
Beloved, may we love one another, because the love is of God, and every one who is loving, of God he hath been begotten, and doth know God;
he who is not loving did not know God, because God is love.
9 N ba waani yi U Tienu ń tieni maama ki waani ke o bua ti: O sɔni o biyendga ke wan cua ki tinga po ki paani ti pala, tin baa ya miali n ki pia gbenma o yeli po.
In this was manifested the love of God in us, because His Son — the only begotten — hath God sent to the world, that we may live through him;
10 U Tienu kadi ki waani ti yaali n tie ki ŋan buadi nitɔa yeni i mɔni: Liki ki wangi ke ti bua U Tienu ka, ama ke U Tienu n bua ti. Li po n cedi ke o sɔni o bijua ke wan yidi o bá salga, ke wan fidi ki tieni ti tuonbiadi po sugli.
in this is the love, not that we loved God, but that He did love us, and did send His Son a propitiation for our sins.
11 N buakaaba, nani U Tienu ń bua ti maama ne, li tie ti po taladi tin ya bua ti lieba!
Beloved, if thus did God love us, we also ought one another to love;
12 Nilobá kuli ki kpeli ki la U Tienu. Yeni lankuli i, ti ya bua ti lieba, li wangi cain ke U Tienu ye ti niinni, ke ti bua ti lieba nani wan bua tin ya tiendi maama.
God no one hath ever seen; if we may love one another, God in us doth remain, and His love is having been perfected in us;
13 N ba waani yi ke tin baa dugi maama ke ti ye U Tienu nui nni ke ti mo ye o nui nni: o puni ti o Foŋanma.
in this we know that in Him we do remain, and He in us, because of His Spirit He hath given us.
And we — we have seen and do testify, that the Father hath sent the Son — Saviour of the world;
15 Lanwani i, U Tienu ye leni yaaba saa i mɔni Jesu po. Bi yedi, “O tie U Tienu Bijua.” Lanwani i, bi ji li ye U Tienu nui nni
whoever may confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God in him doth remain, and he in God;
16 Ti la U Tienu n bua ti maama ki cegdi, ki ji dugi ke o bua ti. Lani n cedi ke ti bua ti lieba. Kelima U Tienu yenyienu tie ke wan ya bua bi niba i, yaaba n bua bi lieba kaa cedi ye U Tienu nuinni ke o mo ye bi nui nni.
and we — we have known and believed the love, that God hath in us; God is love, and he who is remaining in the love, in God he doth remain, and God in him.
17 Li buali ke tin buadi ti lieba leni payenli. Ti ya tieni yeni, ke u yogu pundi ke U Tienu ń jia ti buudi leni ti baa daani ke o kan jalgi ti. Ti baa daani kelima ti ye ŋanduna nni U Tieni nui nni, nani Kirisiti wani o bá́ ń ye U Tienu nui nni maama.
In this made perfect hath been the love with us, that boldness we may have in the day of the judgment, because even as He is, we — we also are in this world;
18 Ti kan ya jie U Tienu li ya tie ke ti bua o lini i mɔni, kelima yaaba n bua U Tienu leni i mɔni ba fidi ki kan ya jie o. Ti ba fidi ki ya jie kelima o ba ti dadi ti tuba. Lanwani i, yaaba n jie U Tienu ki bua o leni payenli
fear is not in the love, but the perfect love doth cast out the fear, because the fear hath punishment, and he who is fearing hath not been made perfect in the love;
19 Ti bua U tienu leni ti lieba bi dugikaaba kelima U Tienu n kpia ki buadi ti.
we — we love him, because He — He first loved us;
if any one may say — 'I love God,' and his brother he may hate, a liar he is; for he who is not loving his brother whom he hath seen, God — whom he hath not seen — how is he able to love?
21 Bili mani i yama nni ke U Tienu ń bili ti po ya ñɔmaama n yeni. Ti ya bua o, ti baa li buali ke tin buadi ti lieba bi dugikaaba.
and this [is] the command we have from Him, that he who is loving God, may also love his brother.
