< Tita 3 >

And admonish them to be submissive and obedient to princes and potentates; and that they be ready for every good work;
and that they speak ill of no man; that they be not contentious, but mild; and that in every thing they manifest benignity towards all men.
3 Kelima ti moko den kpa tie yanluodanba, niyiekaaba, niyaadikaaba leni li nunponli buoli kuli danba leni mi conconma danba ki fuo li nunponbiadili, ti den tie lan pundi ban nani yaaba ki go nani ti yaba.
For we also were formerly reckless, and disobedient, and erring, and serving divers lusts, and living in malice and envy, and were hateful and also hating one another.
But when the kindness and compassion of God our Life-giver was revealed,
not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to his mercy, he vivified us, by the washing of the new birth, and by the renovation of the Holy Spirit,
6 Wan den jiini tipo yaama ti candaano Jesu kilisiti nni.
which he shed on us abundantly, by Jesus the Messiah our Life-giver:
7 Lan ba gaa maama tin ba li moamoansaali kelima li dandanli po, ki tua bi faajieba ki go ba yaa miali n kan gbeni. (aiōnios g166)
that we might be justified by his grace, and become heirs in the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
8 Laamaama tie mi madugikaama. N bua ke han waani laa bonla kuli, lan baa ga maama ke yaaba n daani U Tienu n bogini ki yaa tuuni a tuonhama kuli.
Faithful is the word: and in these things, I would have thee also establish them; so that they, who have believed in God, may be careful to cultivate good works: these are the things, which are good, and profitable to men.
9 Ama han foagidi leni mi yanluomaama leni yaajanba togida, a koana leni yaa niama n tuugi leni li balimaama kelima li kuli tie fanma.
But foolish questions, and stories of genealogies, and the disputes and contests of the scribes, avoid: for there is no profit in them, and they are vain.
An heretical man, after thou hast instructed him once and again, avoid:
11 ki yaa bani ke laa nilo tieni ti tuonbiadi ki buni ki cuo o yuli.
and know thou, that such a man is perverse, and sinful, and self-condemned.
12 N yaa ti soani apo Atenasa bi Tikika han jaligi ki cua n kani Nikapolisa kelima n jagi ke n baa ye lankane ku fawaagu yogunu.
When I shall send Artemas to thee, or Tychicus, strive thou to come to me at Nicopolis; for I have purposed to winter there.
13 Han bogini Sena li balimaama bangikoa leni Apolosa sancenli ke liba kuli n da poadiba.
As for Zenas the scribe, and Apollos, endeavor to help them well on their way, that they may want nothing.
14 Kali ti yaaba moko n bangi ki yaa tiendi yaala n hani ke ban fidi ki yaa baadi tipo yaala n tie tiladi, ke ban da tua yaa niba n kaa luoni bonluonkaala.
And let our people learn also to perform good works, on occasions of emergency, that they may not be unfruitful.
15 Yaaba n ye leni nni kuli fuondi a, han fuondi yaaba n bua ti li dandanli nni kuli. Ke li hanbili n yaa ye leni yi kuli.
All they that are with me salute thee. Salute all them who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
