< Matio 27 >

Now when morning had come, all the chief cohanim and the elders of the people took counsel against Yeshua to put him to death:
and they bound him, and led him away, and delivered him to Pilate, the governor.
Then Judah, who betrayed him, when he saw that Yeshua was condemned, felt remorse, and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief cohanim and elders,
4 Bi den goa ki yedi o: Lani mo nan hua tii? Li hua fine.
saying, "I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood." But they said, "What is that to us? You see to it."
5 Judasa den luni i ligi yeni U Tienu diegu nni ki ñani ki gedi ki ban soadi o yuli.
He threw down the pieces of silver in the sanctuary, and departed. He went away and hanged himself.
6 Bi kopadicianba yudanba den gandigandi i ligi yeni ki yedi: Laa pundi laa ligi n kua U Tienu litiagu nni, kelima li tie mi soama yaa ligi.
The chief cohanim took the pieces of silver, and said, "It's not lawful to put them into the treasury, since it is the price of blood."
They took counsel, and bought the potter's field with them, to bury strangers in.
Therefore that field was called "The Field of Blood" to this day.
9 Lani, o sawalipualo Jelemi n den maadi ya maama den tieni: Bi den taa kujapiena piitaa, Isalele yaaba n den biigi ki sua ke o dunga pundi maama.
Then that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled, saying, "They took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him upon whom a price had been set, whom some of the children of Israel priced,
and they gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord commanded me."
11 Jesu den sedi gufeneeli nintuali. Gufeneeli den buali o: A tie Jufinba bado bi?
Now Yeshua stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Yeshua said to him, "You say so."
12 Jesu den goa ki yedi: Fini n yedi yeni. Bi kopadicianba yudanba leni bi nikpeliba den tabi o, ama waa den guani liba.
When he was accused by the chief cohanim and elders, he answered nothing.
13 Lane Pilata den yedi o: Haa gba ban tabi a yaala kuli po?
Then Pilate said to him, "Do you not hear how many things they testify against you?"
14 Jesu naa den lebidi o maamaba. Li den paki gufeneeli.
He gave him no answer, not even one word, so that the governor was greatly amazed.
15 Mi pendima jaanma kuli, gufeneeli den maani ki faabi kadibiyenga, ku niligu n mia wan faabi yua.
Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to release to the crowd one prisoner, whom they desired.
They had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
17 Ku niligu n den taani, Pilata den yedi ba: Yi bua min faabi yipo hme, Balabasa bi, bi Jesu ban yi yua Kilisiti?
When therefore they were gathered together, Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to release to you? Barabbas, or Yeshua, who is called Messiah?"
For he knew that because of envy they had delivered him up.
While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, "Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him."
Now the chief cohanim and the elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas, and destroy Yeshua.
21 Gufeneeli Pilata go den yedi bi: Bani bonba lie siiga yi bua min faabi yipo hme? Bi den goa ki yedi o: Balabasa.
But the governor answered them, "Which of the two do you want me to release to you?" They said, "Barabbas."
22 Pilata den yedi ba: N nan baa tieni Jesu, ban yi yua Kilisiti mo lede?
Pilate said to them, "What then should I do with Yeshua, who is called the Messiah?" They all said, "Let him be crucified."
23 Gufeneeli den yedi: O tieni be biadime?
But he said, "Why? What evil has he done?" But they shouted all the louder, saying, "Let him be crucified."
Li hua yinbe.
So Pilate, seeing that nothing was being gained, but rather that a disturbance was starting, took water and he washed his hands before the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this righteous man. You see to it."
All the people answered, "May his blood be on us, and on our children."
Then he released to them Barabbas, but Yeshua he flogged and delivered to be crucified.
Then the governor's soldiers took Yeshua into the Praetorium, and gathered the whole garrison together against him.
They stripped him, and put a scarlet robe on him.
They braided a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they kneeled down before him, and mocked him, saying, "Greetings, King of the Jews."
They spat on him, and took the reed and struck him on the head.
When they had mocked him, they took the robe off of him, and put his clothes on him, and led him away to crucify him.
As they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Shim'on by name, and they compelled him to go with them, that he might carry his cross.
33 Bi den pundi ban yi ya kaanu Goligota, lani n bua ki yedi ku Yukuokuogu kaanu. Bi den teni Jesu ya duven n kali leni ya ñoagu n to ke wan ño.
They came to a place called "Golgotha," that is to say, "The place of a skull."
34 Ama wan den leni o waamu, waa den ñuni.
They gave him wine to drink mixed with gall. When he had tasted it, he would not drink.
When they had crucified him, they divided his clothing among themselves, casting a lot, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: 'They divided my clothes among themselves, and for my clothing they cast a lot.'
And they sat and watched him there.
They set up over his head the accusation against him written, "THIS IS YESHUA, THE KING OF THE JEWS."
Then there were two robbers crucified with him, one on his right hand and one on the left.
39 Bi santagiba den sugidi o,
Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads,
and saying, "You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days, save yourself. If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross."
Likewise the chief cohanim also mocking, with the scribes, and the elders, said,
"He saved others, but he cannot save himself. If he is the King of Israel, let him come down from the cross now, and we will believe in him.
43 O dugi U Tienu po, U Tienu ya bua o moamoani, wan nan ga o moala.
He trusts in God. Let God deliver him now, if he wants him; for he said, 'I am the Son of God.'"
44 Kelima o yedi: N tie U Tienu Bijua yo.
The robbers also who were crucified with him insulted him in the same way.
Now from noon until three in the afternoon there was darkness over all the land.
46 Li yenlebidili po yeni, Jesu den tiani boncianla: Eli, Eli lama sabakitani? Lani n tie: N tienu, n Tienu, be yaa po ke a haa nni?
Then at about three in the afternoon Yeshua called out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lema shabachthani?" That is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
47 Yaa niba n den ye likani bi tianba n den gbadi, bi den yedi: O yi o sawalipualo Elia.
Some of them who stood there, when they heard it, said, "This man is calling Elijah."
Immediately one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him a drink.
49 O lieba den yedi: Cedi mani tin la Elia ya baa cua ki ga o.
The rest said, "Let him be. Let us see whether Elijah comes to save him."
50 Jesu go den tiani ke li pa, ki cabi o naano ki kpe.
And Yeshua cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up his spirit.
51 Lanyogunu U Tienu diegu nni kpalidoaginkaabui den padi siiga nni, ki cili tanpoli ki ban jiidi tinga, ki boagidi kaani lie.
And look, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split.

and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, they entered into the holy city and appeared to many.

Now the centurion, and those who were with him watching Yeshua, when they saw the earthquake, and the things that were done, feared exceedingly, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God."
55 Moamoani, one den tie U Tienu Bijua yo.
Many women were there watching from afar, who had followed Yeshua from Galil, serving him.
56 Li den pia bi siiga Magidala yua Maliyama, leni yua n den tie Jaka leni Josefi naa, leni Sebede bila yaa naa.
Among them were Miriam from Magdala, Miriam the mother of Jacob and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zavdai.

58 O den gedi Pilata kani ki baa mia o wan teni o Jesu o kpiemo, Pilata den yedi ban teni.
This man went to Pilate, and asked for the body of Yeshua. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given up.
59 Josefi den taa o kpiemo ki bobini o len kpalipanbu,
Joseph took the body, and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
and placed it in his own new tomb, which he had cut out in the rock, and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed.
61 Magidala yua Maliyama leni Maliyama toa den ye likani ki ka ki tiegi li kakuli.
Miriam from Magdala was there, and the other Miriam, sitting opposite the tomb.
Now on the next day, which was the day after the Preparation Day, the chief cohanim and the Pharisees were gathered together to Pilate,

Command therefore that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest perhaps his talmidim come and steal him away, and tell the people, 'He is risen from the dead;' and the last deception will be worse than the first."
65 Pilata den yedi ba: No mani yaaba n ji nne. Gedi mani ki ban jiidi li kakuli yin fidi maama kuli.
Pilate said to them, "You have a guard. Go, make it as secure as you can."
So they went with the guard and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone.
