< Jan Laabaalihamo 7 >

1 Li yaapuoli Jesu den guani Galile, waa go den bua ki yaa ye jude nni, kelima Jufinba den lingi ki bua ki kpa o.
And Jesus was walking after these things in Galilee, for He did not wish to walk in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill Him,
2 Ki sua Jufinba jaanma ban yi yaama Asuga jaanma yeni den nagini.
and the celebration of the Jews was near—that of Shelters—
His brothers, therefore, said to Him, “Depart from here, and go away to Judea, that Your disciples may also behold Your works that You do;
4 Yua n bua bi niba n yaabani o kan yaa wuondi wan tiendi yaala.
for no one does anything in secret, and himself seeks to be in public; if you do these things—reveal Yourself to the world”;
5 Kelima o waamu ki den daani o. Jesu den yedi ba:
for not even His brothers were believing in Him.
6 N yogunu daa pundi ama yinba wani yaapo yogunu kuli yenma.
Jesus, therefore, says to them, “My time is not yet present, but your time is always ready;
the world is not able to hate you, but it hates Me, because I testify concerning it that its works are evil.
8 Yin gedi mani mi jaanma ama mini wani daa kan gedi kelima n yogunu daapundi.
You—go up to this celebration; I do not yet go up to this celebration, because My time has not yet been fulfilled”;
9 Wan den yedi ba yeni o go den sedi Galile.
and saying these things to them, He remained in Galilee.
And when His brothers went up, then also He Himself went up to the celebration, not openly, but as in secret;
the Jews, therefore, were seeking Him in the celebration, and said, “Where is that One?”
12 Bi niba den soabidi soabidi boncianla, bine den tua: o tie nihamo, bine mo n yaa tua: O teni ke bi niba boncianla yaadi.
And there was much murmuring about Him among the multitudes, some indeed said, “He is good”; and others said, “No, but He leads the multitude astray”;
no one, however, was speaking freely about Him, through fear of the Jews.
14 Mi jaanma yeni dana siiga Jesu den gedi U Tienu diegu nni ki bangi bi niba.
And it being now the middle of the celebration, Jesus went up to the temple, and He was teaching,
and the Jews were wondering, saying, “How has this One known letters—having not learned?”
16 Jesu den guani ki yedi ba: N bangima ki ñani n yaa kani ka, mi ñani yua n soani nni yaa kane.
Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me;
if anyone may will to do His will, he will know concerning the teaching, whether it is of God, or—[if] I speak from Myself.
He who is speaking from himself seeks his own glory, but he who is seeking the glory of him who sent him, this one is true, and unrighteousness is not in him;
has not Moses given you the Law? And none of you does the Law; why do you seek to kill Me?”
The multitude answered and said, “You have a demon, who seeks to kill You?”
21 Jesu den guani ki yedi ba: N den soani tuonyenli ke li paki yi kuli.
Jesus answered and said to them, “I did one work, and you all wonder,
22 Musa n den teni ku koanciagu balimaama, ama maa den cili o yaa kani ka, kelima mi den ñani yi yaajakpiaba kane lanyaapo yi yen kuani o nilo ku koanciagu baa U Tienu fuodima daali.
because of this, Moses has given you the circumcision—not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers—and on a Sabbath you circumcise a man;
23 Li ya tie ke yi kuani o nilo ku koanciagu U Tienu fuodima daali ke yin da miidi Musa balimaama, be yaapo ke yi pala nan be leni nni kelima n yen paagi o nilo cain U Tienu fuodima daali?
if a man receives circumcision on a Sabbath that the Law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with Me that I made a man all whole on a Sabbath?
Do not judge according to appearance, but the righteous judgment judge.”
Certain, therefore, of the Jerusalemites said, “Is this not He whom they are seeking to kill?
26 Diidi: O maadi bi niba siiga ke baa tua o li ba, naani ti yudanba tuo ke o tie U Tienu n gandi yua bi?
And behold, He speaks freely, and they say nothing to Him; did the rulers truly know that this is the Christ?
27 Ki sua one wani ti nan bani ñani naani, Ama U Tienu n gandi yua ya cua o bakuli kan bandi wan ñani naani.
But this One—we have known where He is from; and the Christ, when He comes, no one knows where He is from.”
28 Jesu n den bangi U Tienu diegu nni, o den kpaani ki yedi: Yi bani nni, yi go bani min ñani naani. Mii cua n yuceli po ka, yua n soani n tie o moamoani daano. Yii bani o.
Jesus cried, therefore, in the temple, teaching and saying, “You have both known Me, and you have known from where I am; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you have not known;
29 Ama mini wani n bani o, kelima n ñani o yaa kane, wani n soani nni.
and I have known Him, because I am from Him, and He sent Me.”
They were seeking, therefore, to seize Him, and no one laid the hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come,
and many out of the multitude believed in Him and said, “The Christ—when He may come—will He do more signs than these that this One did?”
32 Falisieninba n den gbadi ke ku niligu soabidi leni bi yaba, ki maadi Jesu po laa maama, lane bi kopadicianba yudanba leni Falisieninba den soani U Tienu diegu jiidikaaba ke ban ban cuo o.
The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers that they may take Him;
33 Jesu den yedi ba: N da ye leni yi yogunu waamu po, ama li yaa yanwaamu n baa guani ki gedi yua n den soani nni po.
Jesus, therefore, said to them, “Yet a short time I am with you, and I go away to Him who sent Me;
34 Yi baa ti lingi nni yi kan le nni, yi kan fidi ki cua min ye naanpo mo.
you will seek Me, and you will not find; and where I am, you are not able to come.”
35 Lanyaapo Jufinba den tua bi yaba: O baa gedi hali le yo, ke ti kan go le o?
The Jews, therefore, said among themselves, “To where is this One about to go that we will not find Him? Is He about to go to the dispersion of the Greeks, and to teach the Greeks?
36 Wan maadi yaa maama ne bua ki yedi be yo? Yi baa ti lingi nni yi kan le nni. Yi kan fidi ki cua min baa ye naankani yeni mo.
What is this word that He said, You will seek Me, and you will not find? And, Where I am, you are not able to come?”
And in the last, the great day of the celebration, Jesus stood and cried, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink;
38 Yua n daani nni li miali kpenciamu baa puubi ki ña o niini nani idiani n yedi maama.
he who is believing in Me, according as the Writing said, Rivers of living water will flow out of his belly”;
39 Wan den yedi yeni, o den maadi U Tienu fuoma yua yaa maame. Yaaba n daani wani Jesu n baa ba yua, U Tienu fuoma yua daa den jiidi bi po, kelima Jesu daa den kua o kpiagidi nni.
and this He said of the Spirit, which those believing in Him were about to receive; for not yet was the Holy Spirit, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
40 Ku niligu siiga bi tianba den gbadi laa maama ki tua: One li tie sawalipualo moamoane.
Many, therefore, out of the multitude, having heard the word, said, “This is truly the Prophet”;
41 Bi tianba den tua: Wan tie U Tienu n gandi yua, bi ne mo den tua naani U Tienu n gandi yua baa ña Galile yo?
others said, “This is the Christ”; and others said, “Why, does the Christ come out of Galilee?
42 Naani idiani ki yedi ke UTienu n gandi yua baa tie Davidi puoli huanu, ki go ña Betelema dogu nni kaa? Lan tie Davidi dogu.
Did the Writing not say that out of the seed of David, and from Beth-Lehem—the village where David was—the Christ comes?”
43 Lanyaapo yo mi paadima den tieni ku niligu siiga kelima Jesu po.
A division, therefore, arose among the multitude because of Him.
44 Bi siiga bi tianba den bua ki cuo o, ama o bakuli ki den sii o.
And certain of them were willing to seize Him, but no one laid hands on Him;
45 U Tienu diegu jiidikaaba n den guani bi kopadicianba yudanba leni Falisieninba yeni kani, bi den buali ba: Be n teni ke yii cuani o?
the officers came, therefore, to the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, “Why did you not bring Him?”
The officers answered, “Never so spoke man—as this Man.”
47 Falisieninba den guani ki buali ba: O boandi yi moko bii?
The Pharisees, therefore, answered them, “Have you also been led astray?
48 Naani li pia bi yudanba leni Falisieninba siiga yaaba n daani o bii?
Did anyone out of the rulers believe in Him? Or out of the Pharisees?
49 Ama ku naa niligu yaaba n ki bani Musa balimaama tie ban soli yaaba.
But this multitude, that is not knowing the Law, is accursed.”
50 Nikodema bi siiga yua, yua n den kpa gedi Jesu kani ku ñiagu yeni den yedi ba:
Nicodemus says to them—he who came by night to Him—being one of them,
51 Naani ti balimaama puni usanu ban jia o nilo buudi kaa kpa cengi o, ki bandi wan tieni yaala?
“Does our law judge the Man, if it may not hear from Him first, and know what He does?”
52 Bi den guani ki yedi o: Amoko tie Galile yua bii? han lingi idiani nni a kan le ke sawalipualo ñani Galile.
They answered and said to him, “Are you also out of Galilee? Search and see that a prophet has not risen out of Galilee”; [[
and each one went on to his house, but Jesus went on to the Mount of Olives.
