1 Hali ke mi pendima jaanma daa pundi, Jesu den bani ke wan baa ña handuna nni, ki gedi Baa po yaa yogunu pundi, o den bua ohoadikaaba yaaba n ye handuna nni. Lanyaapo, o den bua ki teni ba, yaa maalima n waani, ke o bua ba hali mi juadima.
Nowe before the feast of the Passeouer, when Iesus knewe that his houre was come, that he should depart out of this world vnto the Father, forasmuch as he loued his owne which were in the world, vnto the end he loued them.
2 Jesu leni ohoadikaaba den dini mi yenjoajiema. Li sua ke sutaani den kuani Simono isakalioto bijua Judasa pali nni, li yanjagili no, ke wan janbi Jesu.
And when supper was done (and that the deuill had now put in the heart of Iudas Iscariot, Simons sonne, to betray him)
3 Jesu yua n den bani, ke Baa tieni li bonla kuli paalu o nuu nni, ki bani ke o den ñani U Tienu kani, ki go baa guani ki gedi U Tienu kani.
Iesus knowing that the Father had giuen all things into his hands, and that he was come forth from God, and went to God,
4 O den fii usaajekaanu kani, ki landi o tiadi, ki taa li cabili ki ñagini o ciaga.
He riseth from supper, and layeth aside his vpper garments, and tooke a towel, and girded himselfe.
5 O den kuodi mi ñima ku tiagu nni, ki cili ki nigidi ohoadikaaba, taana, ki duuni a leni ocabiñaginkaali.
After that, hee powred water into a basen, and began to wash the disciples feete, and to wipe them with the towell, wherewith he was girded.
6 O den pundi Simono pieli kani, Pieli den yedi o: o Diedo fine n nigidi n taana?
Then came he to Simon Peter, who sayd to him, Lord, doest thou wash my feete?
7 Jesu den guani ki yedi o: A daa bani min tiendi yaala moalane, ama li ya pugini waamu a baa bandi.
Iesus answered and sayd vnto him, What I doe, thou knowest not nowe: but thou shalt knowe it hereafter.
8 Pieli den yedi o: A kan nigidi n taana hali abada. Jesu den guani ki yedi o: N yaa nigidi a taana, haa go pia tuginma leni nni abada. (aiōn g165)
Peter said vnto him, Thou shalt neuer wash my feete. Iesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou shalt haue no part with me. (aiōn g165)
9 Simono pieli den guani ki yedi o: o diedo da nigidi n taana bebe ka, nigidi n nii leni n yuli kuli.
Simon Peter sayd vnto him, Lord, not my feete onely, but also the hands and the head.
10 Jesu den yedi o: Yua n wali waa go bua ki wali, kali wan nigidi o taana ki yaa hani. Yi hani ama yi kuli ka!
Iesus sayd to him, He that is washed, needeth not, saue to wash his feete, but is cleane euery whit: and ye are cleane, but not all.
11 Kelima o den bani yua n baa jabi o. Lanyaapo ke o den yedi ba: Yi kuli ka hani.
For hee knewe who should betray him: therefore sayd he, Ye are not all cleane.
12 Wan den nigidi bi taana ki gbeni, o den guani ki taa o tiadi ki lani, ki guani ki kali usaajekaanu kani, ki yedi ba: Naani yi bandi min tieni yi po yaala ne, n bua ki yedi yaala?
So after he had washed their feete, and had taken his garments, and was set downe againe, he sayd vnto them, Knowe ye what I haue done to you?
13 Yi yi nni, yi canba leni yi leni yi Diedo. Yi maadi moamoani, kelima n tie yeni lige.
Ye call me Master, and Lord, and ye say well: for so am I.
14 To, mini yua n tie yi Diedo leni yi canba, N nigidi yi taana. Lanwani kali yi moko n yaa nigidi yi yaba taanana.
If I then your Lord, and Master, haue washed your feete, ye also ought to wash one an others feete.
15 Kelima n ha yi po bontogidikaala, ke yi mo n yaa tiendi nani min tieni yi po maama yeni.
For I haue giuen you an example, that ye should doe, euen as I haue done to you.
16 N yedi yi moamoani, o tuonsoanlo kan cie o canba, o tondo mo kan cie yua n soani o.
Verely, verely I say vnto you, The seruant is not greater then his master, neither the ambassadour greater then he that sent him.
17 Yi ya bani lani ki tieni la, yi baa pia li pamanli.
If ye know these things, blessed are ye, if ye doe them.
18 Mii maadi yeni, ki baa yi kuli ka, n bani min gandi yaaba. Ama kali idiani n yedi yaala n tieni: Yua n taa ki di leni nni lugidi nni, U danbu.
I speake not of you all: I know whom I haue chosen: but it is that the Scripture might be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me, hath lift vp his heele against me.
19 N tuodi ki waani yi la, hali ke li daa tieni, ke li ya ti tieni, yaa yogunu yin daani ke (N YE).
From henceforth tell I you before it come, that when it is come to passe, ye might beleeue that I am he.
20 N yedi yi moamoani yua n gaa n tondo cangu kuli, o ga mini ba yaa congoe. Yua n gaa n yaa cangu mo gaa yua n soani yaagu.
Verely, verely I say vnto you, If I send any, he that receiueth him, receiueth me, and hee that receiueth me, receiueth him that sent me.
21 Jesu n den maadi yeni, o yama den yagi. Ke yedi ba: Yi moamoani kani, yi siiga yendo baa janbi nni.
When Iesus had sayd these things, he was troubled in the Spirit, and testified, and said, Verely, verely I say vnto you, that one of you shall betray me.
22 Ohoadikaaba den diidi, bi yaba kaa bandi wan baa yua.
Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.
23 Bi hoadikaaba siiga Jesu n den bua yua yeni, den kpaagi ki kuu leni o.
Nowe there was one of his disciples, which leaned on Iesus bosome, whom Iesus loued.
24 Lane Simono pieli den waani onuu ke wan buali Jesu, n maadi yua yaa maama.
To him beckened therefore Simon Peter, that he should aske who it was of whom he spake.
25 Laa hoadikoa n den tabini Jesu ki buali o: N Diedo ŋme yo?
He then, as he leaned on Iesus breast, saide vnto him, Lord, who is it?
26 Jesu den guani ki yedi: Min baa teni yua li saaboali yeni, wani yeni. Jesu den cabidi li saboali ki teni Judasa isikalioto. Simono bijua.
Iesus answered, He it is, to whome I shall giue a soppe, when I haue dipt it: and hee wet a soppe, and gaue it to Iudas Iscariot, Simons sonne.
27 Jesu n den teni o li saboali yaa yogunu, sutaani den kua opali nni, Jesu den yedi o: Jaligi ki tieni han bi baa tieni yaala.
And after the soppe, Satan entred into him. Then sayd Iesus vnto him, That thou doest, doe quickly.
28 Ama yaaba n den ye usaajekaanu kani siiga baa yendo, ki den bani yaala yaap, ke Jesu yedi o yeni.
But none of them that were at table, knew, for what cause he spake it vnto him.
29 Nani Judasa n den kubi bi ligiboagili yeni, bi tianba den tama ke Jesu yedi o: Han daa tin baa bua yaala kuli, mi jaanma po, Bi yaaka: Han ñani iligi ki pa aluoda.
For some of them thought because Iudas had the bag, that Iesus had sayd vnto him, Buy those things that we haue neede of against ye feast: or that he should giue some thing to the poore.
30 Judasa, n den ga li saboali yeni, li sua ke ku ñiagu bii o den ñani.
Assoone then as he had receiued the soppe, he went immediately out, and it was night.
31 Judasa n den ñani, Jesu den yedi: Moala ojoa Bijua ba tikpiagidi, U Tienu mo baa ti kpiagidi kelima o yaapo.
When hee was gone out, Iesus sayd, Nowe is the Sonne of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
32 U Tienu yaa baa ti kpiagidi kelima o bijua yaapo, omo baa teni wan baa ti kpiagidi o yaa kani.
If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorifie him in himselfe, and shall straightway glorifie him.
33 N bibuadimu n go baa ye leni yi uyogunu waamu po. Yi baa lingi nni, ama n waani yi moko nani min den waani Jufinba maama, n go wangi yi moko moala ke yi kan fidi ki cua min caa naanpo.
Litle children, yet a litle while am I with you: ye shall seeke me, but as I sayde vnto the Iewes, Whither I goe, can ye not come: also to you say I nowe,
34 N teni yi balimapanman n tie na: Yin ya bua mani yi yaba, nani min bua yi maama, yi moko n ya bua mani yi yaba yeni.
A newe commandement giue I vnto you, that ye loue one another: as I haue loued you, that ye also loue one another.
35 Yi ya bua yi yaba lani baa teni bi niba kuli n bandi ke yi tie n yaa hoadikaaba.
By this shall all men knowe that ye are my disciples, if ye haue loue one to another.
36 Simono pieli den buali o: oDiedo a caa le yo? Jesu den guani ki yedi o: A kan fidi ki gedi min caa naanpo moala ne, ama a baa ti yuandi ki hoadi.
Simon Peter said vnto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Iesus answered him, Whither I goe, thou canst not follow me nowe: but thou shalt follow me afterward.
37 Pieli den yedi o: o Diedo be yaapo ke n kan fidi ki hoadi amoala ne, baa li yaa tie n miali, n baa pa kelima a po.
Peter sayd vnto him, Lord, why can I not follow thee now? I will lay downe my life for thy sake.
38 Jesu den guani ki yedi o: A baa pa amiali kelima n po! N yedi a, imoamoani hali ke ku kootongu daa mua, a baa nia taalimata ke haa bani nni.
Iesus answered him, Wilt thou lay downe thy life for my sake? Verely, verely I say vnto thee, The cocke shall not crowe, till thou haue denied me thrise.
