< Efesa 5 >
1 Lanwani yin ya ŋua mani U Tienu fuuli nani o bibuadimu yeni.
Therefore, be imitators of God, as beloved children,
and walk in love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
3 Yin da tuo mi conconma maama leni majoagindi buolu ba kuli bi mi ligibuama maama n ña yi siiga ba waamu, kelima laa dagidi yinba bi nigagidiŋanba po.
But fornication, impurity of any kind, and covetousness must not even be mentioned among you, because such things are improper for saints.
Nor should there be any obscenity, foolish talk, or coarse joking, which are not fitting, but there should be thanksgiving instead.
5 Yin bandi mani ke ba niyendo yua n tie mi conconma daano leni yua n tiendi ti joagindi leni yua n bua i ligi ke li tie opo nani i buli ŋoadima yeni, kan ba U Tienu leni Kilisiti diema ŋalimani.
For you know that no one who is a fornicator, impure, or covetous (that is, an idolater) has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Li tie lani yaa po yo ke U Tienu pabienli baa cua yaaba n yie o kuli po.
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.
7 Lani yaapo yin da pia ŋantaado ba kuli leni ba.
Therefore do not be partners with them.
8 Yi den kpa ye li biigili nni moala yi tie mi yenma O diedo nni, ya cuoni mani nani mi yenma bila yeni.
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
9 Kelima mi yenma n ba luoni yaa bonluonkaala tie li ŋanbili; mi ŋanma, mi teginma leni i moamoani.
(for the fruit of the Spirit is found in all goodness, righteousness, and truth).
Carefully determine what is pleasing to the Lord.
11 ki da pia ŋantaado ba kuli leni li biigili tuona, yaa n kaa pia fuoma, ama yin waani ke a bia.
Do not participate in the unfruitful works of darkness, but expose them instead.
12 Kelima li pia ife, ba ki maadi ban tiendi yaala ŋasiili nni.
For it is shameful even to mention what such people do in secret.
But everything exposed by the light becomes illuminated, and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.
14 Lani yaapo ke li yedi ŋan fundi fini yua n goa, ŋan fii bi tinkpiba siiga. Kilisiti baa yendi apo.
Therefore it says, “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine upon yoʋ.”
15 Lani yaapo, yin fangi mani yi yula leni yi tagi n tie maama. yin da tie nani bi yanluodanba, ama yin yaa tie nani bi yanfodanba yeni.
See then that you walk carefully, not as unwise people but as wise,
making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Do not be drunk with wine, which leads to debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,
19 Lani, yi baa maadi leni yi yaba ki togidi Pisominba leni yaa yani n pagi U Tienu, leni U Tienu fuoma yua n gobidi yi ke yi yiini ya yani. Yaa yiini mani ki pagi O diedo leni yi pala kuli.
speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your hearts to the Lord,
20 Yaa tuondi mani U Tienu yua n tie Baa yogunu kuli li bonla kuli po ti diedo Jesu kilisiti yeli po.
always giving thanks for everything to our God and Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
21 Yin ya miindi mani yi yula yi yaba kani kelima yin pia Kilisiti po yaa fangili yaapo.
and submitting to one another in the fear of Christ.
22 Yinba bi puoba, yua kuli n yaa miindi o yuli o calo kani nani wan miidi o yuli O diedo kani maama.
Wives, submit to your husbands, as to the Lord.
23 Kelima o joa tie opua yudaano nani kilisiti n tie wan yini yaaba yudaano maama yaaba n tie o gbannandi wani n tie bi candaano.
For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head and Savior of the church, which is his body.
24 Nani kilisiti n yini yaaba n miindi bi yula O diedo kani maama, li pundi ke bi puoba n yaa miindi bi yula bi ciaba kani li bonla kuli nni.
Just as the church submits to Christ, so wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
to sanctify her by cleansing her with the washing of water by the word,
so that he might present her to himself as a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and unblemished.
28 Li pundi ke bi podanba moko n yaa bua bi puoba nani ban bua bi yula maama yeni. Yua n bua opua kuli bua o yuli.
In the same way husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
For no one has ever hated his own flesh, but he nourishes and cares for it, just as the Lord does for the church,
30 Kelima ti mo tie o yaa gbannandi buolu yo.
because we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones.
31 Li diani: li tie lani yaapo ke o joa baa ña leni o naa kani ki loli o yuli leni opua bani niba lie yeni n tua gbannanyendi.
“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”
32 Line n tie yaa bondoaginkaala n yaba n maadi laa maama Kilisiti leni wan yini yaaba yaa po yo.
This is a profound mystery, but I am talking about Christ and the church.
33 Li mayuli yinba yaa po tie ke joa kuli n yaa bua opua nani wan bua o yuli maama, pua kuli mo n yaa fangi o calo.
Nevertheless, each man among you must love his own wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
