1 Diidi mani min pia yaa tundi a nikpela yaaba n ye yi siiga po, mini yua moko n tie o nikpelo, ki tie siedi Kilisiti fala po, ki go taa yaa kpiagidi n baa yuandi ki cua nni.
And I, an Elder, your associate, and a witness of the sufferings of the Messiah, and a participator in his glory which is to be revealed, entreat the Elders who are among you:
2 Yin yaa kpaa U Tienu yankulu yu n ye yi kani, yin da tiendi la ke li tie tiladi ka, ama leni yi yanbuama po, nani U Tienu n bua maama. Yin da tiedi la kelima yi bua ki baa iligi ka, ama yin yaa tiedi la ke yi yama n ye lienni moamoani.
Feed ye the flock of God which is committed to you: have care for it, spiritually; not from compulsion, but voluntarily; not for base gain, but with all your heart;
3 Yin da gobidi ba leni upaalu ama yin tua bi po li bontogidikaala.
not as lords of the flock, but so as to be a good example for them:
4 Yeni oyankpaciamo ya doagidi ya yogunu yi baa ba yaa kpiagidi n kan yindi yaa badifogiliga.
that when the chief shepherd shall be revealed, ye may receive from him a crown of glory that fadeth not.
5 Yinba bi nipanba, yin ya miindi mani yi yula a nikpela kani, yin ya miindi mani yi yula yinba leni yi yaba taayienu nni. yin kubi li yumiinli kelima U Tienu yie bi japaadanba ama o puuni bi yumiindanba o hanbili.
And ye juniors submit yourselves to your seniors; and clothe yourselves, stringently, with lowliness of mind one towards another; because God resisteth them who exalt themselves, and giveth grace to the humble.
6 Yin miini mani yi yula U Tienu nuu yuu n pia u paalu nintuali, ke wan yugidi yi li yogunu yaa pundi.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the powerful hand of God: and it will exalt you in due time.
7 Yin tuni mani U Tienu yi yanyagidi kuli kelima wani o baa, n baa kubi yi.
And cast all your solicitude upon God; for he careth for you.
8 Yin kubi mani yi yula ki yaa faami, kelima yi yibali sutaani goadi ki lindi nani oyangbanbiado yeni ki duni ki lingi wan baa cuo yua ki ŋmani!
Be sober and guarded, because Satan your adversary, like a lion, roareth, and goeth about, and seeketh whom he may devour.
9 Yin yie mani opo leni li dandanmoanli, kelima yi bani ke yi kpiiba yaaba n ye handuna nni kuli laadi laa fala yo.
Therefore resist him, being steadfast in the faith: and know ye, that the same sufferings befall your brethren that are in the world.
10 U Tienu yua n tie li hanbili kuli daano, ki yini yi Jesu Kilisiti nni, ke yin taani leni o, o kpiagidi yaadi n kan gbeni nni, yi fala waamu pendima puoli. o baa payi ufidu yin yaa se ke li pa, ke li ba kuli kan fidi ki lengidi yi. (aiōnios g166)
Now it is the God of grace, who hath called us to his eternal glory by Jesus the Messiah, that hath given us, while we sustain these light afflictions, to be strengthened, and confirmed, and established by him for ever: (aiōnios g166)
to whom be glory, and power, and honor, for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 Silasa o nidugikoa min nua yua ke o tie ti kpiilo, wani n todi nni ke n diani yi po yaa ti jenjenga n tiena, ki bua ki tundi yi ki waani yi, ke yin loli yi yula leni U Tienu hanbili yaali yeni tie bonmoanla.
These as I account them few things, I have written to you by Sylvanus, a faithful brother. And I would persuade, and would testify, that this is the true grace of God, this in which ye stand.
13 U Tienu nitaanli yaali n ye Babilona po fuondi yi, n bijua Maka moko fuondi yi.
The elect church which is in Babylon, saluteth you; also Mark, my son.
14 Yin fuondi yi yaba ki gobini yi yaba leni mi buamoanma. Mi yanduanma n ya ye leni yinba yaaba n ye Jesu kilisiti nni kuli.
Salute ye one another with a holy kiss. Peace be with you all, who are in the Messiah. Amen.
