1 Yi siiga hme n baa tuo ki gedini o lielo handuna yaaba, yaaba n ki daani bujiali kani? O ya pia maama leni o lielo, wa baa gedini ma bi nigagidihanba kani?

Dare any one of you, having a matter with the other, go to be judged before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

2 Yii bani ke bi ni gagidihanba baa jia ti buudi leni handuna yoo? Lamwani li la tie ke yi baa jia ti buudi leni handuna yi baa gbali ki jia tibuwaadi bii?

have ye not known that the saints shall judge the world? and if by you the world is judged, are ye unworthy of the smaller judgments?

3 Yii bani ti baa jia ti buudi leni malekinba yoo? Lanwani laa pia kuli tama ke ti baa fidi ki jia ti buudi ya jamaamo n tie na ya maama po.

have ye not known that we shall judge messengers? why not then the things of life?

4 Lanwami yi ya pia o naa jamaano ya maama leni yiyaba, yi yen taa kilisiti n yini yaaba n ki pia leni yaaba hantaado yeni ban tua yi bujiaba.

of the things of life, indeed, then, if ye may have judgment, those despised in the assembly — these cause ye to sit;

5 N yedi yeni ki bua i fe n cuo yi. Naani yii pia yi siiga baa niyendo yua n pia mi yanfuoma ki baa fidi ki jia ti buudi o kpiiba siiga?

unto your shame I speak: so there is not among you one wise man, not even one, who shall be able to discern in the midst of his brethren!

6 Naani yi siiga yua pia mi maama leni o kpiilo baa gedini o ti buudi po, yaaba n kaa daani kani yoo?

but brother with brother doth go to be judged, and this before unbelievers!

7 Baa yin pia ti buudi leni yiyaba yeni, li daogidi yi gbalima. Laa baa hani ki cie yin juuni leni yi kpiiba n tieni yi ya bonbiadilakaa? Laa baa hani ki cie yin tuo ban je yi kaa?

Already, indeed, then, there is altogether a fault among you, that ye have judgments with one another; wherefore do ye not rather suffer injustice? wherefore be ye not rather defrauded?

8 Ama yinba n tiendi laa bonbiadila, ki di nitoaba, bani yaaba n tie yi kpiiba yeni

but ye — ye do injustice, and ye defraud, and these — brethren!

9 Yii bani ke yaaba n ki tiegi kan ba biinu U Tienu diema nni yoo? Yin da boandi yi yula. Yaaba n tiendi ti cagindi, leni i buuli danda, leni mi conconma danba, leni yaaba n biidi bi yula, leni ya jaba n taagi leni bi yaba kuli,

have ye not known that the unrighteous the reign of God shall not inherit? be not led astray; neither whoremongers, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,

10 leni a concona leni halihabuada, leni a doñogaada, leni a nisugida, leni yaaba n di bi lieba kuli kan baa biinu U Tienu diema nni.

nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, the reign of God shall inherit.

11 Yii siiga bi nitianba den tie laa nibuolu, ama U Tienu huudi yi o gagidi yi ki puni li moamoasaali o Diedo kilisiti yeli po leni U Tienu fuoma tuonli po.

And certain of you were these! but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were declared righteous, in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

12 Bi tianba yi siiga tua: «Mii go kua liba, » ama li bonla kuli ka hani. N ba fidi ki yedi, «Mii go kua liba kuli, » ama n kan tuo liba kuli n diedi nni.

All things are lawful to me, but all things are not profitable; all things are lawful to me, but I — I will not be under authority by any;

13 Yi go tua: «Mi jema ye ku tugu po, ku tugu mo ye mi jema po.» U Tienu baa ti bolini likuli yenma. Ama ti gbanandi naa ye mi conconma po ka, ti ye o Diedo yaapo, o Diedo mo ye ti gbanandi yaapo.

the meats [are] for the belly, and the belly for the meats. And God both this and these shall make useless; and the body [is] not for whoredom, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body;

14 U Tienu, yua n den fiini o Diedo bi tinkpiba siiga, o go baa fiini ti mo kelima o paalu yaapo.

and God both the Lord did raise, and us will raise up through His power.

15 Yii bani ke yi gbanandi tie kilisiti gbanandi ka yoo? Naani n baa taa kilisiti gbanandi ki teni tin tua li poconconli gbananbuolu bi? Kalam.

Have ye not known that your bodies are members of Christ? having taken, then, the members of the Christ, shall I make [them] members of an harlot? let it be not!

16 Yii bani ke yua n taani leni li poconconli tua gbanayendi leni o kaa? Kelima li diani: Bani niba lie baa tua gbananyendi.

have ye not known that he who is joined to the harlot is one body? 'for they shall be — saith He — the two for one flesh.'

17 Yua taabi o Diedo tua yendo leni o.

And he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit;

18 Yin sani ki foagidi mani leni mi conconma. Tuonbiatoadi kul ye o gbanandi niinpo, ama yua n puni o yuli mi conconma po, tudi o gbanandi po yo.

flee the whoredom; every sin — whatever a man may commit — is without the body, and he who is committing whoredom, against his own body doth sin.

19 Yii bani ke yi gbanandi tie U Tienu fuoma yua dieli, yua n ye yi niinni, U Tienu n puni yua ke yii go die yi yula?

Have ye not known that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own,

20 Moamoani o da yi leni ya dunga pa. Lanwani yin ya kpiadi mani U Tienu yi gbanandi nni lani yaala n tie U Tienu n die yali.

for ye were bought with a price; glorify, then, God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
