Yohaannisa Qonccethaa 7
1 Hessafe guye, oyddu kiitanchchoti oyddu sa7aa gaxan eqqidayssata be7as. He kiitanchchoti sa7a bolla woykko abbaa bolla woykko ay mitha bolla carkkoy oyddu sa7aa gaxappe carkkonna mela teqqidosona.
AND after these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, to hold back the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, neither on the sea, nor on any tree.
2 Qassi de7o Xoossaa maatamiya oykkida hara kiitanchchoy doloha baggafe keyeyssa be7as. He kiitanchchoy ba qaala dhoqqu oothidi, sa7aanne abbaa qohanaw wolqqi imettida oyddu kiitanchchota,
And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom power was given for them to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 xeegidi, “Nuuni Xoossaa aylleta som77on maatamiya wothana gakkanaw biittaa woykko abbaa woykko mithaa qohoppite” yaagis.
saying, Hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
4 Yaatin, taani Xoossaa maatamey som77on wosettidayssata payduwa si7as. Isra7eele mayzata ubbaafe xeetanne oytamanne oyddu mukulu asaas som77on maatame wothis.
And I heard the number of those who were sealed; one hundred and forty and four thousand were sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel.
5 Yihuda zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu, Roobela zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu, Gaade zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu,
Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6 Aseere zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu, Niftaaleme zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu, Minaase zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu,
Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephtalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasseh were sealed twelve thousand.
7 Simoona zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu; Leewe zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu, Yisaakore zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu,
Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
8 Zaabiloone zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu, Yoosefa zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu, Biniyame zerethaafe tammanne nam77u mukulu, asaa som77on maatame wothis.
Of the tribe of Zebulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
9 Hessafe guye, zerethi ubbaafe, kawotetha ubbaafe, yara ubbaafenne dumma dumma doonappe zawi baynna daro asaa be7as. He asay bootha ma7o ma7idi, zambba haythi bantta kushen oykkidi, araata sinthaninne Dorssa sinthan eqqidosona.
After these things I looked, and beheld a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation, and tribe, and people, and tongue, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches in their hands

and crying with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God that sitteth on the throne, and to the Lamb.
11 Kiitanchchoti ubbay, araataa, cimatanne oyddu medhetethata yuushuwan eqqidosona. Entti araata sinthan gufannidi Xoossaa goynnidosona.
And all the angels stood in a circle about the throne, and the presbyters and the four living beings, and fell on their faces before the throne, and worshipped God,
12 “Amin7i! Anjjoy, bonchchoy, cinccatethay, galatay, sabay wolqqay, minotethay meri merinaw nu Xoossaas gido. Amin7i!” yaagidosona. (aiōn g165)
saying, Amen: blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might be to our God for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
13 Cimatappe issoy taakko, “Ha bootha ma7uwa ma77ida asati oonantee? Entti awuppe yidonaa?” yaagidi oychchis.
And one of the presbyters addressed me, saying, Who are these persons who are clothed in white robes? and from whence came they?
14 Taani zaarada, “Godaw, ne eraasa” yaagas. Ikka taakko, “Hayssati daro waaye waayidi aadhdhidayssata. Entti bantta ma7uwa Dorssa suuthan meeccidi geeshshidosona.
And I said to him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are persons who are come out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made their robes white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Hessa gisho, “Entti Xoossaa araata sinthan gididi qammanne gallas iya keethan oothoosona. Qassi araata bolla uttidayssi enttaw kuya gidana.
Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 Hizappe guye, entti koshattokona, saamottokona. Awi woykko mishi entta meenna.
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun scorch them, nor any burning heat.
17 Araata giddon uttida Dorssay entta heemmana. De7o pultto haathako entta kaalethana. Xoossay entta ayfiyaappe afutha ubbaa quchchana” yaagis.
Because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will feed them, as a shepherd, and lead them unto living fountains of waters; and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.
