Ibraawe 13
1 Ammaniya asada issoy issuwara polo siiqetite.
Let brotherly love abide.
2 Imathe mokkeyssa dogoppite. Issi issi asati hessada oothishe eronna kiitanchchota mokkidosona.
Be not forgetful of hospitality; for by it some have unawares entertained angels.
3 Qashon de7eyssata hintteka enttara issife qashon de7iyada oothidi enttana qoppite. Waaye ekkiya asaara issife hintteka waaye ekkiyada oothidi enttana qoppite.
Remember prisoners, as bound with [them]; those that are evil-treated, as being yourselves also in [the] body.
4 Ekoynne geloy asa ubbaa matan bonchchettidabaa gido. Qassi Xoossay laymateyssatanne laammeyssata pirddanaw de7iya gisho azinaynne machchiya issoy issuwas ammanettanaw bessees.
[Let] marriage [be held] every way in honour, and the bed [be] undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers will God judge.
5 Miishe siiqoppe hinttena naagite; hinttew de7iyaban alite. Xoossay, “Taani nena ubbarakka yeggike woykko aggike” yaagis.
[Let your] conversation [be] without love of money, satisfied with [your] present circumstances; for he has said, I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee.
6 Hessa gisho, nuuni ammanettidi, “Goday tana maaddeyssa; ta yayyike; asi tana ay oothanee?” yaagos.
So that, taking courage, we may say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not be afraid: what will man do unto me?
7 Xoossaa qaala koyro hinttew odida hinttena kaaletheyssata qoppite. Entti waanidi de7idaakko entta duussaa be7idi entta ammanuwa kaallite.
Remember your leaders who have spoken to you the word of God; and considering the issue of their conversation, imitate their faith.
Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday, and to-day, and to the ages [to come]. (aiōn g165)
9 Dumma dumma ooratha timirtten haraso bidi dhayoppite; booppite. Nu wozanay Xoossaa aadho keehatethan minnanaw besseseppe attin min go77onna kathan woga polon gidoppo.
Be not carried away with various and strange doctrines; for [it is] good that the heart be confirmed with grace, not meats; those who have walked in which have not been profited by [them].
10 Shin dunkkaaniya giddon oothiya kahineti he yarshsho kathaafe maanaw enttaw maati baynna yarshsho bessay nuus de7ees.
We have an altar of which they have no right to eat who serve the tabernacle;
11 Kahine halaqay nagara yarshshos mehe suuthi ekkidi yarshshanaw Ubbaafe Geeshsha Bessaa gelees. Shin he mehiya ashuwa dirssaafe karen xuuggees.
for of those beasts whose blood is carried [as sacrifices for sin] into the [holy of] holies by the high priest, of these the bodies are burned outside the camp.
12 Hessadakka, Yesuusi deriya nagaraappe ba suuthan geeshshanaw katamaa penggiyafe karen waayettis.
Wherefore also Jesus, that he might sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered without the gate:
13 Hiza, nuuni boriya tookkidi dirssaafe kare iyakko keyoos.
therefore let us go forth to him without the camp, bearing his reproach:
14 Hiza, nuus hayssan merinaw de7iya katami baawa, shin nuuni yaana katamaa naagoos.
for we have not here an abiding city, but we seek the coming one.
15 Hiza, Yesuusa baggara ubba wode iya sunthaas markkattiya mettershsha galata yarshsho Xoossaas immoos.
By him therefore let us offer [the] sacrifice of praise continually to God, that is, [the] fruit of [the] lips confessing his name.
16 Lo77obaa oosonne hinttew de7iyabaappe metootida asaas imo dogoppite. Hiza, hessa mela yarshshoy Xoossaa ufayssees.
But of doing good and communicating [of your substance] be not forgetful, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
17 Hinttena kaaletheyssatas kiitettite; entti giyabaa oothite. Entti bantta oothiyabas Xoossaa sinthan oyshettanaw de7iya gisho, hinttena heemmoosona. Hintte enttaw kiitettiko, bantta oosuwa ufayttidi oothana; hessi hanonna ixxiko, entti azzanishe oothana; hessi hinttena aybibaakka maaddenna.
Obey your leaders, and be submissive; for they watch over your souls as those that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not groaning, for this [would be] unprofitable for you.
18 Nuus Xoossaa woossite. Nu kahay geeshshi; nu ubba wode lo77obaa oothanaw koyoos.
Pray for us: for we persuade ourselves that we have a good conscience, in all things desirous to walk rightly.
19 Taani hintteko ellesada yaana mela hintte taw minthidi Xoossaa woossana mela ta hinttena hadara gays.
But I much more beseech [you] to do this, that I may the more quickly be restored to you.
20 Sarotethaa Xoossay, dorssa heemmiya nu Godaa Yesuusa, ba merinaa caaqo suuthan hayqoppe denthidayssi, (aiōnios g166)
But the God of peace, who brought again from among [the] dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, in [the power of the] blood of [the] eternal covenant, (aiōnios g166)
21 iya sheniya oothana mela lo77obaa ubban I hinttena dancciso. Iya ufayssiyabaa Yesuus Kiristtoosa baggara nunan Xoossay ootho. Yesuus Kiristtoosa baggara Xoossaas merinaappe merinaa gakkanaw bonchchoy gido. Amin7i. (aiōn g165)
perfect you in every good work to the doing of his will, doing in you what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
22 Ta ishato, ta ha dabddaabbiya hinttew qanthan xaafida gisho, hintte ta zoriya salettonna ekkana mela ta hinttena woossays.
But I beseech you, brethren, bear the word of exhortation, for it is but in few words that I have written to you.
23 Nu ishay, Ximotiyoosi qashoppe bilettidayssa erite. I ellesidi taakko yiikko ta iyara hinttena bada be7ana.
Know that our brother Timotheus is set at liberty; with whom, if he should come soon, I will see you.
24 Hinttena kaaletheyssatanne ammaniyaa ubbaa saro giite. Xaaleppe yida ammaniyaa asay hinttena saro yaagoosona.
Salute all your leaders, and all the saints. They from Italy salute you.
25 Xoossaa aadho keehatethay hintte ubbaara gido. Amin7i.
