1 Shin worddo nabeti kase asaa giddon de7eyssa mela ha77ika worddo asttamaareti hintte giddon denddana. Entti banttana wozida, Godaa kaddidi, dhayssiya worddo timirttiya ehana. Hessan entti bantta bolla ellesidi dhayo ehoosona.
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Master that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 Daro asay yeellayiya entta iita ogiya kaallana; entta gaason tuma ogey cayettana.
And many shall follow their destructive ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 Worddo asttamaareti miishe yaaridi banttaw medhdhi kessida hayssen hinttena bonqana. Benippe doomidi entta pirdday giigi uttis; entta dhayoykka enttana naagi uttis.
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
4 Nagara oothida kiitanchchotas Xoossay qadhettonna, pirdda gallas gakkanaw gaanname dhuma ollan entta qachchi yeggis. (Tartaroō g5020)

And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8 He xillo addey entta giddon de7ishe, entti oothiya iita oosuwa gallas gallas be7ida wodenne si7ida wode iya lo77o wozanay un77ettees.
(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds; )
9 Hessa gidikko, Goday, bana goynniya asata paaceppe waati ashshaneekko, qassi nagaranchchota pirdda gallasaas gakkanaw waattidi seerishe naagisaneekko erees.
YHWH knoweth how to deliver the reverent out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10 Ubbaafe aathidi tuna amon asho qofa kaalleyssatanne maata aawata kadheyssata, pirdda gallas gakkanaw Goday naagisis. He asati ganjje minonne otoranchcho gidiya gisho, salo medhetethata cayishe yayyokonna.
But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
11 Shin kiitanchchoti worddo asttamaaretappe wolqqaninne minotethan daro aadhdhoosonashin Godaa sinthan salo medhetethata cayokkona.
Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before YHWH.
12 Shin he asati bantta eronnaban gelidi cayoosona. Entti oykettanawnne hayqqanaw yelettida, wozani baynna do7a mela hanoosona; enttika wora do7ada coo dhayana.
But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
13 Entti gathida metuwada zaari metootana. Seeta gallas yexxishe guppeyssa ufayssiyabaa gidi qoppoosona. Entti kawushshatanne tunata gidi de7ishe hinttera shaakettiya siiqo imatuwan ufayttoosona.
And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
14 Laymatiya maccasi xeellidi aggonna ayfey enttaw de7ees; qassi nagara ootheyssa aggokona. Ammanon minniboonna asaa cimmoosona. Enttaw ubba wode amottiya wozani de7ees; entti qanggettidayssata.
Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Entti suure oge aggidi, makkala miishe siiqidi balida, Bi7oora na7aa Balaama ogiya kaallidosona.
Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16 I ba nagara gaason hanqettis; dooni baynna harey asada haasayidi nabiya gooshshatethaa teqqis.
But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
17 He asati melida pulttota melanne carkkoy tookkidi efiya shaara mela; entta naagey sakkana dhumaa. (questioned)
These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. (questioned)
18 Entti hadanne otoro oda odettishe balan de7iya asaa giddofe kessi ekkidi buroo minniboonna asata laymatetha asho amon cimmidi balethoosona.
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 Entti banttaw dhayo aylletethan de7ishe haratakko, “Hintte aylletethafe keyana” yaagosona. Ays giikko, asi ba xoonettidaba ubbaas aylle.
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20 Entti ashshiya nu Godaa Yesuus Kiristtoosa eridi ha alamiya tunatethaafe kessi ekkidaappe guye, zaari qaxettidi xoonettiko kase de7iya de7uwappe guyeyssi enttaw iita gidana.
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Master and Saviour Yahushua the Messiah, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 Entti xillotetha ogiya eri simmidi aggeyssafe koyrottidi geeshsha kiitta eronnaako enttaw lo77oshin.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 “Kani ba cooshshaako guye simmees” qassi, “Meecettida gudunthoy guye simmidi urqqan gonddorettees” giya leemisoy tuma gideyssi entta bolla oothees.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
