< Tito 3 >

1 Ririkanagia andũ acio atĩ maathĩkagĩre anene na arĩa maathanaga, na matuĩke aathĩki, na makoragwo mehaarĩirie kũruta wĩra wothe mwega,
Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and authorities, to obey rulers, to be ready for every good work,
2 ningĩ matikae gũcambia mũndũ o na ũrĩkũ, no makorwo marĩ a thayũ na acaayanĩri, na monanagie mĩtugo ya ũhooreri harĩ andũ othe.
to revile no one, not to be contentious, but gentle, showing all meekness to all men.
For we ourselves also were formerly foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 No hĩndĩ ĩrĩa ũtugi wa Ngai Mũhonokia witũ na wendo ũrĩa atwendete naguo ciaguũranĩirio-rĩ,
But when the kindness and philanthropy of God our Savior appeared, he saved us,
not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
which he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;
that, being justified by his grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
8 Ũhoro ũcio nĩ wa kwĩhokeka. Na ngũkĩenda waragie maũndũ maya ũgwatĩirie, nĩgeetha andũ arĩa mehokete Ngai memenyerie kwĩrutĩra na kĩyo gwĩkaga maũndũ mega. Maũndũ maya nĩ magĩrĩru kũna, na nĩ marĩ uumithio harĩ mũndũ o wothe.
This saying is true, and in respect to these things, I will that you affirm strongly, in order that those who have believed in God may be careful to practice good works: these are the things that are honorable and profitable for men.
But foolish questions and genealogies and strifes and contentions about the law, avoid; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 Mũndũ ũrĩa ũtũmaga kũgĩe na nyamũkano-rĩ, mũkaanagie riita rĩa mbere, na rĩa keerĩ. Thuutha wa ũguo, regana nake.
A man that is a sectary, reject, after the first and second admonition,
11 Wagĩrĩirwo nĩkũmenya atĩ mũndũ ta ũcio nĩ mwaganu na nĩ mwĩhia; nake we mwene nĩetuĩrĩire ciira.
knowing that such a one is perverted, and sins, being self-condemned.
12 Ndaarĩkia gũtũma Aritema kana Tukiko kũrĩwe, geria ũrĩa ũngĩhota ũũke kũrĩ niĩ gũkũ Nikopoli, tondũ nĩkuo nduĩte gũikara ihinda rĩa heho.
When I send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, hasten to come to me at Nicopolis; for I have determined to spend the winter there.
13 Ĩka ũrĩa wothe ũngĩhota ũteithie Zena ũrĩa wakiri, na Apolo rĩrĩa marĩkorwo marĩ rũgendo-inĩ, na wone atĩ marĩ na indo ciothe iria mabatarĩtio nĩcio.
Conduct Zenas the lawyer, and Apollos on their journey with care, that nothing may be wanting to them.
Let our people also learn to practice good works for necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful.
15 Andũ arĩa othe tũrĩ nao nĩmamũgeithia. Geithia andũ arĩa othe matwendete thĩinĩ wa wĩtĩkio. Wega wa Ngai ũrogĩa na inyuĩ inyuothe.
All that are with me salute you. Salute those who love us in faithfulness. Grace be with you all. Amen.
