1 Hĩ, kaĩ wee mwendwa wakwa ũkĩrĩ mũthaka-ĩ! Ĩĩ ti-itherũ ũrĩ mũthaka! Maitho maku mahaana ta ma ndutura makĩonerwo hau taama-inĩ ũcio ũkũhumbĩrĩte ũthiũ. Njuĩrĩ yaku no ta rũũru rwa mbũri rũgĩikũrũka Kĩrĩma-inĩ kĩa Gileadi.
Behold, thou art faire, my loue: behold, thou art faire: thine eyes are like the doues: among thy lockes thine heare is like the flocke of goates, which looke downe from the mountaine of Gilead.
2 Magego maku mahaana ta rũũru rwa ngʼondu ciarĩkia kũmurwo guoya o ũguo, ikĩambata ciumĩte gũthambio. O ĩmwe yacio ĩrĩ na ihatha rĩayo; hatirĩ o na ĩmwe yacio ĩrĩ iiki.
Thy teeth are like a flocke of sheepe in good order, which go vp from the washing: which euery one bring out twinnes, and none is barren among them.
3 Mĩromo yaku ĩhaana ta uuthi mũtune; kanua gaku kagĩrĩte mũno. Thĩa ciaku ihaana ta ciatũ igĩrĩ cia itunda rĩa mũkomamanga, ikĩonerwo hau taama-inĩ ũcio ũkũhumbĩrĩte ũthiũ.
Thy lippes are like a threede of scarlet, and thy talke is comely: thy temples are within thy lockes as a piece of a pomegranate.
4 Ngingo yaku ĩhaana ta mũthiringo ũrĩa mũraihu wa Daudi, wakĩtwo wega mũno; nakuo gũgacuurio ngo ngiri, na ciothe nĩ ngo cia njamba cia ita.
Thy necke is as the tower of Dauid builte for defence: a thousand shieldes hang therein, and all the targates of the strong men.
5 Nyondo ciaku cierĩ ihaana ta ciana igĩrĩ cia thiiya, ikahaana ciana cia mahatha cia thiiya ikĩrĩa itoka-inĩ.
Thy two breastes are as two young roes that are twinnes, feeding among the lilies.
6 Nĩngũthiĩ kĩrĩma-inĩ kĩa manemane, na nginye karĩma-inĩ ka ũbani, njikare kuo nginya kũrĩĩrura, nacio ciĩruru ciirĩrie.
Vntill the day breake, and the shadowes flie away, I wil go into the mountaine of myrrhe and to the mountaine of incense.
7 Wee mwendwa wakwa ũrĩ mũthaka biũ; ndũrĩ na kameni o na kanini.
Thou art all faire, my loue, and there is no spot in thee.
8 Ũka tũthiĩ nawe, mũhiki wakwa, tuume Lebanoni, nĩtũthiĩ nawe tuume Lebanoni. Harũrũka uume gacũmbĩrĩ-inĩ ka Amana, ũkiume kĩrĩma gĩa Seniru, o gacũmbĩrĩ ka Herimoni, uume kũu imamo-inĩ cia mĩrũũthi, ũkiume irĩma-inĩ icio cia ngarĩ.
Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, euen with me from Lebanon, and looke from the toppe of Amanah, from the toppe of Shenir and Hermon, from the dennes of the lyons, and from the mountaines of the leopards.
9 Nĩũtahĩte ngoro yakwa, wee mwarĩ wa maitũ, o wee mũhiki wakwa; nĩũtahĩte ngoro yakwa na irora o rĩmwe rĩa maitho maku, na ithaga rĩmwe rĩa mũgathĩ waku wa ngingo.
My sister, my spouse, thou hast wounded mine heart: thou hast wounded mine heart with one of thine eyes, and with a chaine of thy necke.
10 Wee mwarĩ wa maitũ, o we mũhiki wakwa, kaĩ wendo waku nĩ wa gũkenerwo-ĩ! Ĩĩ wendo waku nĩ wa gũkenania mũno gũkĩra ndibei, naguo mũtararĩko wa maguta maku nĩ mwega kũrĩ wa mahuti mothe marĩa manungi wega!
My sister, my spouse, how faire is thy loue? howe much better is thy loue then wine? and the sauour of thine oyntments then all spices?
11 Wee mũhiki wakwa, mĩromo yaku ĩtaatagia mũrĩo ta magua ma ũũkĩ; iria na ũũkĩ irĩ rungu rwa rũrĩmĩ rwaku. Mũtararĩko mwega wa nguo ciaku no ta ũrĩa wa Lebanoni.
Thy lippes, my spouse, droppe as honie combes: honie and milke are vnder thy tongue, and the sauoure of thy garments is as the sauoure of Lebanon.
12 Wee mwarĩ wa maitũ, o wee mũhiki wakwa, ũhaana ta mũgũnda mũirigĩre, ũkahaana ta gĩthima kĩirigĩre, na ta itherũkĩro rĩa maaĩ ihingĩrĩrie.
My sister my spouse is as a garden inclosed, as a spring shut vp, and a fountaine sealed vp.
13 Thuuna ciaku nĩ ta mũgũnda wa mĩtĩ ya mĩkomamanga ĩ na matunda mega mũno, ũrĩ na mĩhanuni, na mĩtĩ ĩrĩa yumaga uundi,
Thy plantes are as an orchard of pomegranates with sweete fruites, as camphire, spikenarde,
14 ĩkoima uundi na manjano, na irago na mĩndarathini, hamwe na mũtĩ o wothe wa ũbani, na manemane na thubiri, na mahuti mothe marĩa manungi wega mũno.
Euen spikenarde, and saffran, calamus, and cynamon with all the trees of incense, myrrhe and aloes, with all the chiefe spices.
15 Wee-rĩ, ũrĩ itherũkĩro rĩa maaĩ rĩrĩ mũgũnda, ũrĩ gĩthima kĩa maaĩ megũtherera, maikũrũkĩte moimĩte Lebanoni.
O fountaine of the gardens, O well of liuing waters, and the springs of Lebanon.
16 Wee rũhuho rwa gathigathini ũkĩra, nawe rũhuho rwa gũthini-rĩ, ũka! Hurutanaai mũgũnda-inĩ wakwa, nĩguo mũtararĩko waguo ũhunje kũndũ kũraya. Mwendwa wakwa nĩatoonye mũgũnda-inĩ wake, na arĩe matunda maguo o macio mega mũno.
Arise, O North, and come O South, and blowe on my garden that the spices thereof may flow out: let my welbeloued come to his garden, and eate his pleasant fruite.
