< Kũguũrĩrio 8 >
1 Ningĩ rĩrĩa Gatũrũme aamethũrire gatembe ka mũgwanja-rĩ, kũu igũrũ gũgĩkirwo ki ihinda ta rĩa nuthu ithaa.
And when he had opened the seuenth seale, there was silence in heauen about halfe an houre.
2 Na niĩ ngĩona araika mũgwanja arĩa marũgamaga mbere ya Ngai, nao makĩheo tũrumbeta mũgwanja.
And I sawe the seuen Angels, which stoode before God, and to them were giuen seuen trumpets.
3 Nake mũraika ũngĩ, ũrĩa warĩ na rũgĩo rwa thahabu, agĩũka akĩrũgama kĩgongona-inĩ. Nake akĩheo ũbumba mũingĩ nĩgeetha aũrute igongona hamwe na mahooya ma arĩa othe aamũre hau igũrũ rĩa kĩgongona gĩa thahabu kĩrĩa kĩrĩ mbere ya gĩtĩ kĩa ũnene.
Then another Angel came and stoode before the altar hauing a golden censer, and much odours was giuen vnto him, that hee shoulde offer with the prayers of all Saintes vpon the golden altar, which is before the throne.
4 Nayo ndogo ya ũbumba ũcio, hamwe na mahooya ma andũ arĩa aamũre, ĩkĩambata mbere ya Ngai yumĩte guoko-inĩ kwa mũraika ũcio.
And the smoke of the odours with the prayers of the Saintes, went vp before God, out of the Angels hand.
5 Nake mũraika ũcio akĩoya rũgĩo rũu rwa thahabu, akĩrũiyũria mwaki kuuma kĩgongona-inĩ, akĩũikia thĩ; nakuo gũkĩgĩa ngwa, na marurumĩ, na heni, na gĩthingithia.
And the Angel tooke the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth, and there were voyces, and thundrings, and lightnings, and earthquake.
6 Hĩndĩ ĩyo araika arĩa mũgwanja maarĩ na tũrumbeta mũgwanja makĩĩhaarĩria gũtũhuha.
Then the seuen Angels, which had the seuen trumpets, prepared themselues to blow the trumpets.
So the first Angell blewe the trumpet, and there was haile and fire, mingled with blood, and they were cast into the earth, and the thirde part of trees was burnt, and all greene grasse was burnt.
8 Mũraika wa keerĩ nake akĩhuha karumbeta gake, nakĩo kĩndũ kĩahaanaga ta kĩrĩma kĩnene gĩakanaga mwaki-rĩ, gĩgĩikio thĩinĩ wa iria rĩrĩa inene. Nakĩo gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithatũ kĩa iria rĩu gĩgĩtuĩka thakame,
And the second Angel blew the trumpet, and as it were a great mountaine, burning with fire, was cast into the sea, and the thirde part of the sea became blood.
9 na gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithatũ gĩa ciũmbe iria irĩ muoyo thĩinĩ wa iria rĩu igĩkua, na gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithatũ kĩa marikabu ikĩanangwo.
And the thirde part of the creatures, which were in the sea, and had life, died, and the thirde part of shippes were destroyed.
10 Nake mũraika wa gatatũ akĩhuha karumbeta gake, nayo njata nene mũno ĩkiuma igũrũ yakanĩte ta gĩcinga, ĩkĩgwĩra gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithatũ kĩa njũũĩ na ithima cia maaĩ,
Then the thirde Angel blew the trumpet, and there fell a great starre from heauen, burning like a torche, and it fell into the thirde part of the riuers, and into the fountaines of waters.
11 narĩo rĩĩtwa rĩa njata ĩyo nĩ Kũrũra. Gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithatũ kĩa maaĩ macio gĩkĩrũra, na andũ aingĩ magĩkua nĩ kũnyua maaĩ macio marũrũ.
And the name of the starre is called wormewood: therefore the thirde part of the waters became wormewood, and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 Nake mũraika wa kana akĩhuha karumbeta gake, narĩo riũa rĩkĩringwo gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithatũ, o naguo mweri gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithatũ, o na njata nacio gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithatũ, tondũ ũcio gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithatũ gĩacio gĩgĩtuĩka nduma. Nakĩo gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithatũ kĩa mũthenya gĩkĩaga ũtheri, o na gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithatũ kĩa ũtukũ o taguo.
And the fourth Angel blew the trumpet, and the thirde part of the sunne was smitten, and the thirde part of the moone, and the thirde part of the starres, so that the thirde part of them was darkened: and the day was smitten, that the thirde part of it could not shine, and likewise the night.
13 O ndorete-rĩ, ngĩigua nderi yombũkaga rĩera-inĩ ĩkĩanĩrĩra na mũgambo mũnene, ĩkoiga atĩrĩ: “Kaĩ kũrĩ na haaro-ĩ! Kaĩ kũrĩ na haaro-ĩ! Kaĩ inyuĩ arĩa mũtũũraga thĩ mũrĩ na haaro-ĩ, tondũ wa tũrumbeta tũrĩa tũkirie kũhuhwo nĩ araika acio angĩ atatũ-ĩ!”
And I beheld, and heard one Angel flying thorow the middes of heauen, saying with a loude voyce, Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the sounds to come of the trumpet of the three Angels, which were yet to blowe the trumpets.
