1 Ningĩ nĩndonire ũcio Gatũrũme akĩmethũra gatembe ka mbere ga tũtembe tũrĩa mũgwanja twa mũhũra. Ngĩcooka ngĩigua kĩũmbe kĩmwe gĩa ciũmbe iria inya irĩ muoyo gĩkiuga na mũgambo wagambaga ta marurumĩ atĩrĩ, “Ũka!”
I watched as the Lamb broke open the first of the seven seals. I heard one of the four living creatures shout with a thunderous voice, “Come!”

I looked and saw a white horse. Its rider was holding a bow. He was given a crown, and he rode out conquering so that he would be victorious.
3 Rĩrĩa Gatũrũme aamethũrire gatembe ga keerĩ, ngĩigua kĩũmbe kĩrĩa kĩrĩ muoyo gĩa keerĩ kĩoiga atĩrĩ, “Ũka!”
When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!”
4 Ningĩ gũkiumĩra mbarathi ĩngĩ, nayo yarĩ ndune mũno. Ũrĩa wamĩhaicĩte nĩaheetwo ũhoti wa kũniina thayũ kuuma thĩ, na atũme andũ mooragane. Nake akĩheo rũhiũ rwa njora rũnene.
Another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given a large sword, and the power to take away peace from the earth so that people would slaughter one other.

When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked and saw a black horse. Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand.
6 Ningĩ ngĩigua kĩndũ kĩarurumire ta mũgambo ũkuuma gatagatĩ-inĩ ga ciũmbe icio inya irĩ muoyo, ũkiuga atĩrĩ, “Kĩbaba kĩa ngano kiumage mũcaara wa mũthenya ũmwe, na ibaba ithatũ cia ngano ya cairi ciumage mũcara wa mũthenya ũmwe, no ndũgathũkie maguta kana ũthũkie ndibei!”
I heard what seemed to be a voice coming from among the four living creatures that said, “Two pounds of wheat cost a day's wages, and three pounds of barley cost the same. But don't damage the oil or the wine.”
7 Ningĩ rĩrĩa Gatũrũme aamethũrire gatembe ga kana-rĩ, ngĩigua mũgambo wa kĩũmbe kĩrĩa kĩrĩ muoyo gĩa kana woiga atĩrĩ, “Ũka!”
When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature say, “Come!”
8 Na niĩ ngĩrora, ngĩona mbarathi theũku hau mbere yakwa! Ũrĩa wamĩhaicĩte-rĩ, eetagwo Gĩkuũ, nake Jehanamu aamumĩte thuutha, amũkuhĩrĩirie. Nao makĩheo ũhoti wa gwatha gĩcunjĩ kĩa inya gĩa thĩ, nĩguo mooragane na rũhiũ rwa njora, na ngʼaragu, na mũthiro, o na ningĩ nyamũ iria ndĩani cia gĩthaka. (Hadēs g86)
I looked and saw a pale horse. The rider was called Death, and Hades followed him. They received authority over a quarter of the earth to kill people by the sword, by famine, by plague, and by wild beasts. (Hadēs g86)
9 Ningĩ aamethũra gatembe ga gatano-rĩ, ngĩona hau rungu rwa kĩgongona maroho ma andũ arĩa mooragĩtwo nĩ ũndũ wa kiugo kĩa Ngai, na nĩ ũndũ wa ũira ũrĩa maagwatĩirie.
When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar those who had been killed because of their dedication to the word of God and their faithful witness.
10 Nao magĩkaya na mũgambo mũnene, makĩũria atĩrĩ, “Mwathani Jehova, Wee mũtheru na wa ma, ũgũikara nginya rĩ ũtatuĩrĩire atũũri a thĩ ciira nĩguo ũrĩhĩrie thakame iitũ?”
They cried out, shouting, “How long, Lord who is holy and true, before you will judge and bring to justice those on earth who spilled our blood?”
11 Nao makĩheo o mũndũ nguo ndaaya ya rangi mwerũ, na makĩĩrwo meterere hanini, nginya mũigana wa ndungata iria maarutithanagia wĩra nacio ũhinge, na nĩo ariũ na aarĩ a Ithe witũ arĩa maarĩ mooragwo o ta ũrĩa o mooragirwo.
Each one of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait for a little longer until their number was complete—their fellow-believers and brothers who would be killed like them.
12 Ningĩ ngĩrora na ngĩona aamethũra gatembe ga gatandatũ. Nakuo gũkĩgĩa na gĩthingithia kĩnene. Narĩo riũa rĩkĩgarũrũka, rĩkĩira ta nguo ya ikũnia ĩtumĩtwo na guoya wa mbũri, naguo mweri wothe ũkĩgarũrũka, ũgĩtunĩha ta thakame,
When he opened the sixth seal there was a tremendous earthquake. The sun turned black like hair sackcloth and the whole moon turned red like blood.
13 nacio njata cia igũrũ ikĩgũa thĩ, o ta ũrĩa ngũyũ iria thaatu ciitĩkaga kuuma mũkũyũ-inĩ rĩrĩa wainainio nĩ rũhuho rũnene.
The stars of heaven fell to earth like unripe figs falling from a fig tree shaken by a windstorm.
14 Narĩo igũrũ rĩkĩeherio o ta ũrĩa ibuku rĩa gĩkũnjo rĩkũnjagwo, nacio irĩma ciothe na icigĩrĩra ikĩeherio ikiuma kũndũ gwacio.
The sky disappeared like a scroll rolling up, and all the mountains and islands were moved from where they were.

They called on the mountains and the rocks, telling them, “Fall upon us! Hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne, and from the judgment of the Lamb.
17 Nĩgũkorwo mũthenya ũrĩa mũnene wa mangʼũrĩ mao nĩmũkinyu, nake nũũ ũngĩhota kũwĩtiiria?”
For the terrible day of their judgment has come, and who can stand against it?”
