1 “Kũrĩ mũraika wa Kanitha wa Efeso, mwandĩkĩre atĩrĩ: Ici nĩcio ciugo cia ũrĩa ũnyiitĩte njata icio mũgwanja na guoko gwake kwa ũrĩo, ũrĩa ũthiiagĩra mĩtĩ-inĩ ĩyo mũgwanja ya thahabu ya kũigĩrĩra matawa.
Unto the messenger of the congregacion of Ephesus wryte: These thynges sayth he that holdeth the vii. starres in his right honde and walketh in the myddes of the vii. golden candlestyckes
2 Nĩnjũũĩ ciĩko ciaku, o na wĩra waku mũritũ, o na ũkirĩrĩria waku. Nĩnjũũĩ atĩ ndũngĩkirĩrĩria andũ arĩa aaganu, na atĩ andũ arĩa moigaga nĩ atũmwo no ti atũmwo nĩwamageririe, na ũkĩmenya atĩ nĩ a maheeni.
I knowe thy workes and thy labour and thy pacience and howe thou cannest not forbeare the which are evyll: and examinedst them which saye they are Apostles and are not: and hast founde them lyars
3 Nĩũkirĩrĩirie na ũkomĩrĩria mathĩĩna nĩ ũndũ wa rĩĩtwa rĩakwa, na ndũrĩ wanoga.
and dydest wasshe thy self. And hast pacience: and for my names sake hast labored and hast not faynted.
4 No rĩrĩ, ũndũ ũrĩa ngũgũcuukĩra nĩ atĩrĩ: Nĩwatigire gũikara na wendani ũrĩa warĩ naguo mbere.
Neverthelesse I have sumwhat agaynst the for thou haste lefte thy fyrst love.
5 Ririkana kũrĩa uumĩte ũkagũa! Wĩrire ũcooke wĩke maũndũ marĩa wekaga mbere. Waga kwĩrira, nĩngũũka kũrĩ we na njeherie mũtĩ waku wa kũigĩrĩra tawa kuuma handũ haguo.
Remember therfore from whence thou art fallen and repent and do the fyrst workes. Or elles I wyll come vnto the shortly and will remove thy candlestyke out of his place excepte thou repent.
6 No rĩrĩ, ũrĩ na ũndũ ũmwe mwega: Wee nĩũthũire ciĩko cia andũ arĩa metagwo Anikolai, iria o na niĩ thũire.
But this thou haste because thou hatest ye dedes of the Nicolaitans which dedes I also hate.
7 Ũrĩa ũrĩ gũtũ-rĩ, nĩakĩigue ũrĩa Roho areera makanitha. Ũrĩa wa gũtoorania-rĩ, nĩngamwĩtĩkĩria kũrĩa maciaro ma mũtĩ wa muoyo, ũrĩa ũrĩ mũgũnda-inĩ wa Ngai wa gĩkeno.
Lett him yt hath eares heare what ye sprete sayth vnto the congregacions. To him that overcometh will I geve to eate of the tree of lyfe which is in the myddes of ye paradice of god.
8 “Kũrĩ mũraika wa kanitha wa Simurina, mwandĩkĩre atĩrĩ: Ici nĩcio ciugo cia ũrĩa wa Mbere na nowe wa Kũrĩkĩrĩria, ũrĩa wakuire na agĩcooka akĩriũka.
And vnto the angell of the congregacion of Smyrna wryte: These thynges sayth he that is fyrst and the laste which was deed and is alive.
9 Nĩnjũũĩ mĩnyamaro yaku na ũthĩĩni waku, no ũrĩ gĩtonga! Nĩnjũũĩ ũrĩa ũrumagwo nĩ arĩa moigaga atĩ nĩ Ayahudi no ti Ayahudi, no nĩ thunagogi ya Shaitani.
I knowe thy workes and tribulacion and poverte but thou art ryche: And I knowe the blaspemy of them whiche call them selves Iewes and are not: but are the congregacio of sathan.
10 Ndũkae gwĩtigĩra maũndũ marĩa ũkiriĩ gũthĩĩnio namo. Ngũmwĩra atĩrĩ, mũcukani nĩarĩikia amwe anyu njeera nĩguo amũgerie, na mũnyamario handũ ha mĩthenya ikũmi. Wee ikaraga ũrĩ mwĩhokeku, o nginya gũkua, na nĩngũkũhe thũmbĩ ya muoyo.
Feare none of thoo thynges which thou shalt soffre. Beholde the devyll shall caste of you into preson to tempte you and ye shall have tribulacion. x. dayes. Be faythfull vnto the deeth and I will geve the a croune of lyfe.
11 Ũrĩa ũrĩ gũtũ-rĩ, nĩakĩigue ũrĩa Roho areera makanitha. Ũrĩa wa gũtoorania-rĩ, ndakahutio o na hanini nĩ gĩkuũ kĩrĩa gĩa keerĩ.
Let him that hath ears heare what the sprete sayth to the congregacions: He that overcometh shall not be hurte of the seconde deeth.
12 “Kũrĩ mũraika wa kanitha wa Perigamo mwandĩkĩre atĩrĩ: Ici nĩcio ciugo cia ũrĩa ũrĩ na rũhiũ rũũgĩ mĩena yeerĩ.
And to the messenger of the congregacion in Pergamos wryte: This sayth he which hath ye sharpe swearde with two edges.
13 Atĩrĩrĩ, nĩnjũũĩ kũrĩa ũtũũraga, o kũu Shaitani arĩ na gĩtĩ kĩa ũnene. No ũtũũrĩte ũrĩ o mwĩhokeku harĩ niĩ. Wee ndũigana gũkaana wĩtĩkio ũrĩa warĩ naguo thĩinĩ wakwa, o na matukũ-inĩ ma Antipa, mũira wakwa mwĩhokeku, ũrĩa woragĩirwo itũũra-inĩ rĩanyu inene, o kũu Shaitani atũũraga.
I knowe thy workes and where thow dwellest evyn where Sathans seat ys and thou kepest my name and hast not denyed my fayth. And in my dayes Antipas was a faythfull witnes of myne which was slayne amonge you where sathan dwelleth.

But I have a fewe thynges agaynst the: yt thou hast there they that mayntayne the doctryne of Balam which taught in balake to put occasion of syn before the chylderne of Israhell that they shulde eate of meate dedicat vnto ydoles and to commyt fornicacion.
15 O na ningĩ no ũrĩ na andũ amwe marũmĩtie ũrutani wa andũ arĩa metagwo Anikolai.
Even so hast thou them that mayntayne the doctryne of the Nicolaytans which thynge I hate.
16 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio, kĩĩrire! Waga gwĩka ũguo, nĩngũũka kũrĩ we ica ikuhĩ, hũũrane nao na rũhiũ rũrũ rũrĩ kanua gakwa.
But be converted or elles I will come vnto the shortly and will fyght agaynste the with thes wearde of my mouth
17 Ũrĩa ũrĩ gũtũ-rĩ, nĩakĩigue ũrĩa Roho areera makanitha. Ũrĩa ũgaatoorania-rĩ, nĩngamũhe mana mamwe marĩa mahithe. O na ningĩ nĩngamũhe ihiga rĩerũ rĩandĩkĩtwo rĩĩtwa rĩerũ, na gũtarĩ ũngĩ ũrĩũĩ o tiga ũcio ũkaamũkĩra ihiga rĩu.
Lett him that hath eares heare what the sprete sayth vnto the congregacios: To him that overcommeth will I geve to eate manna that is hyd and will geve him a whyte stone and in the stone a newe name wrytten which no ma knoweth savinge he that receaveth it.
18 “Kũrĩ mũraika wa kanitha wa Thuatira, mwandĩkĩre atĩrĩ: Ici nĩcio ciugo cia Mũrũ wa Ngai, ũrĩa ũrĩ na maitho matariĩ ta rũrĩrĩmbĩ rwa mwaki, na magũrũ make matariĩ ta gĩcango kĩrĩa gĩkumuthe gĩgathera.
And vnto the messenger of the congregacion of Theatira write: This sayth the sonne of god which hath his eyes lyke vnto a flame of fyre whose fete are like brasse:
19 Nĩnjũũĩ ciĩko ciaku, na ngamenya wendani waku, na wĩtĩkio waku, na ũtungata waku, na ũkirĩrĩria waku, o na ngamenya atĩ ciĩko ciaku cia kũrigĩrĩria nĩikĩrĩte iria cia mbere.
I knowe thy workes and thy love service and fayth and thy paciece and thy dedes which are mo at the last then at the fyrste.
20 No rĩrĩ, ũndũ ngũgũcuukĩra no atĩrĩ, atĩ nĩũkirĩrĩirie mũndũ-wa-nja ũcio wĩtagwo Jezebeli, ũcio wĩtuaga mũnabii. Nĩ ũndũ wa ũrutani wake, nĩahĩtithagia ndungata ciakwa ihũũrage ũmaraya, na irĩĩage irio iria irutĩirwo mĩhianano.
Notwitstondinge I have a feawe thynges agaynst the that thou sofferest that woman Iesabell which called her sylfe a prophetes to teache and to deceave my servauntes to make them commyt fornicacion and to eate meates offered vppe vnto ydoles.
21 Nĩndĩmũheete ihinda rĩa kwĩrira ũmaraya ũcio wake, no nĩaregete.
And I gave her space to repent of her fornicacion and she repented not.
22 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio ngũmũikia gĩtanda-inĩ kĩa mĩnyamaro, na ndũme arĩa matharagia nake manyamare mũno, tiga no meririre matigane na mĩthiĩre yake.
Beholde I will caste her into a beed and them yt commyt fornicacion wt her into gret adversite excepte they tourne fro their deades.
23 Nĩngooraga ciana ciake. Namo makanitha mothe nĩmakamenya atĩ nĩ niĩ thuthuuragia ngoro na meciiria, na nĩngarĩha o mũndũ wanyu kũringana na ciĩko ciake.
And I will kyll her children with deeth. And all the congregacions shall knowe that I am he which searcheth ye reynes and hertes. And I will geve vnto evere one of you accordynge vnto youre workes.
24 Na rĩu inyuĩ arĩa mũrĩ kũu Thuatira, o inyuĩ mũtarũmĩtie ũrutani wake, na mũtarĩ mwamenya maũndũ marĩa marikĩru ma hitho cia Shaitani, ta ũguo andũ acio moigaga, inyuĩ ngũmwĩra atĩrĩ (no ndirĩ na mũrigo ũngĩ ngũmũigĩrĩra):
Vnto you I saye and vnto other of them of Thiatyra as many as have not this lerninge and which have not knowen the depnes of Satha (as they saye) I will put apo you none other burthe
25 Ikaragai mũrũmĩtie O maũndũ marĩa mũrĩ namo o nginya rĩrĩa ngooka.
but yt which ye have alreddy. Holde fast tyll I come
26 Nake ũrĩa ũgaatoorania na ahingagie wendi wakwa nginya mũthia-rĩ, nĩngamũhe wathani aathage ndũrĩrĩ:
and whosoever overcometh and kepeth my workes vnto the ende to hym will I geve power over nacios
27 ‘Nake nĩagaciathaga na rũthanju rwa kĩgera; agaacimemenda o ta ũrĩa nyũngũ ya rĩũmba ĩmemendagwo,’ o ta ũrĩa niĩ heetwo wathani uumĩte kũrĩ Baba.
and he shall rule them with a rodde of yron: and as the vessels of a potter shall he breake them to shevers. Eve as I receaved of my father
28 Na ningĩ nĩngamũhe njata ĩrĩa ya rũciinĩ.
eue so will I geve him ye mornynge starre.
29 Ũrĩa ũrĩ gũtũ-rĩ, nĩakĩigue ũrĩa Roho areera makanitha.
