1 Ngĩcooka ngĩona ũrirũ ũngĩ mũnene na wa kũgegania kũu igũrũ: ndonire araika mũgwanja makuuĩte mĩthiro mũgwanja ya mũthia. Mĩthiro ĩyo nĩyo yarĩ ya kũrĩkĩrĩria mangʼũrĩ ma Ngai.
Then I saw another portent in the heavens — a great and marvellous portent — seven angels with the seven last Curses; because with them the Wrath of God is ended.
2 Ngĩcooka ngĩona kĩndũ kĩahaanaga ta iria rĩa gĩcicio gĩtukanĩtio na mwaki, na ngĩcooka ngĩona arĩa maatooretie nyamũ ĩrĩa na mũhiano wayo, na namba ya rĩĩtwa rĩayo, marũgamĩte rũtere-inĩ rwa iria rĩu. Nao maanyiitĩte inanda cia mũgeeto iria maaheetwo nĩ Ngai,
Then I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mixed with fire; and, standing by this sea of glass, holding the harps of God, I saw those who had come victorious out of the conflict with the Beast and its image and the number that formed its name.
3 nao maainaga rwĩmbo rwa Musa ũrĩa ndungata ya Ngai, na rwĩmbo rwa Gatũrũme, makoiga atĩrĩ: “Maũndũ maku marĩa wĩkĩte nĩ manene na ma kũgegania, Wee Mwathani Ngai Mwene-Hinya-Wothe. Njĩra ciaku nĩ cia kĩhooto na nĩ cia ma, Wee Mũthamaki wa mĩndĩ na mĩndĩ.
They are singing the song of Moses, the Servant of God, and the song of the Lamb — ‘Great and marvellous are thy deeds, O Lord, our God, the Almighty. Righteous and true are thy ways, Eternal King.
4 Nũũ ũtangĩgwĩtigĩra, na agoocithie rĩĩtwa rĩaku, wee Mwathani? Nĩgũkorwo Wee wiki nĩwe Mũtheru. Ndũrĩrĩ ciothe nĩigooka ihooe irĩ mbere yaku, nĩgũkorwo ciĩko ciaku cia ũthingu nĩiguũrĩtio.”
Who will not reverence and praise thy Name, O Lord? Thou alone art holy! All nations will come and worship before thee, for thy judgments have become manifest.’
5 Thuutha wa maũndũ macio nĩndarorire, na ngĩona hekarũ kũu igũrũ, ĩrĩa arĩ hema nyamũre ya Ũira, nayo ikĩhingũrwo.
After this I saw that the inmost shrine of the Tabernacle of Revelation in Heaven was opened,
6 Nao araika mũgwanja arĩa maarĩ na mĩthiro ĩrĩa mũgwanja makiuma kũu thĩinĩ wa hekarũ ĩyo. Nao meehumbĩte nguo cia gatani ĩrĩa theru yahenagia, na makeyoha mĩcibi ya thahabu ithũri-inĩ ciao.
and out of it came the seven angels with the seven Curses. They were adorned with precious stones, pure and bright, and had golden girdles round their breasts.
7 Hĩndĩ ĩyo kĩũmbe kĩmwe gĩa ciũmbe iria inya irĩ muoyo-rĩ, gĩkĩnengera araika acio mũgwanja mbakũri mũgwanja cia thahabu, ciyũrĩtio mangʼũrĩ ma Ngai ũrĩa ũtũũraga muoyo tene na tene. (aiōn g165)
One of the four Creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls, filled with the Wrath of God who lives for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
8 Nayo hekarũ ĩkĩiyũra ndogo yumĩte riiri-inĩ wa Ngai na thĩinĩ wa hinya wake, na gũtirĩ mũndũ ũngĩahotire gũtoonya hekarũ ĩyo nginya mĩthiro ĩyo mũgwanja ya araika acio mũgwanja ĩrĩkĩrĩre.
‘The Temple was filled with smoke from the Glory’ and Majesty of God; and no one could enter the Temple, until the seven Curses inflicted by the seven angels were at an end.
