< Kũguũrĩrio 10 >
1 Ningĩ ngĩcooka ngĩona mũraika ũngĩ warĩ na hinya mũno agĩikũrũka oimĩte igũrũ. Nake ehumbĩte itu ta nguo, na igũrũ rĩa mũtwe wake haarĩ na mũkũnga-mbura; naguo ũthiũ wake wahaanaga ta riũa, namo magũrũ make maahaanaga ta itugĩ cia mwaki.
And I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud; and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
2 Nake aanyiitĩte na guoko gwake kabuku kanini ga gĩkũnjo karĩ kahingũre. Aakinyithĩtie kũgũrũ gwake kwa ũrĩo iria-inĩ, nakuo kwa ũmotho agagũkinyithia thĩ nyũmũ,
And he had in his hand a little book opened; and he placed his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land;
3 akĩgũthũka na mũgambo mũnene ta wa mũrũũthi ũkĩrarama. Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa aagũthũkire-rĩ, mĩgambo ya ngwa iria mũgwanja ĩkĩgamba.
and he cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars: and when he had cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 Na rĩrĩa ngwa icio mũgwanja ciagambire, ndaarĩ hakuhĩ kwandĩka; no ngĩigua mũgambo kuuma igũrũ ũkiuga atĩrĩ, “Mohoro macio maario nĩ ngwa icio mũgwanja-rĩ, maige marĩ hitho, ndũkamaandĩke.”
And when the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write; and I heard a voice from heaven, saying: Seal up the things which the seven thunders spoke, and write them not.
5 Nake mũraika ũcio ndonete arũgamĩte iria-inĩ na akarũgama thĩ nyũmũ agĩtambũrũkia guoko gwake kwa ũrĩo na igũrũ.
And the angel that I saw standing on the sea and on the land, lifted up his right hand to heaven,
6 Nake akĩĩhĩta na ũrĩa ũtũũraga muoyo nginya tene na tene, o we ũrĩa wombire igũrũ na indo ciothe iria irĩ kuo, na akĩũmba thĩ na indo ciothe iria irĩ kuo, o na akĩũmba iria na indo ciothe iria irĩ thĩinĩ warĩo, akiuga atĩrĩ, “Hatirĩ na ihinda rĩngĩ rĩa gweterera!” (aiōn )
and swore by him that lives from age to age, who created the heaven and the things that are in it, and the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, That time should no longer intervene, (aiōn )
7 No matukũ-inĩ marĩa mũraika wa mũgwanja agaakorwo akiriĩ kũhuha karumbeta gake-rĩ, hitho ya Ngai nĩĩkahingio, o ta ũrĩa eerire anabii arĩa ndungata ciake.
but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall sound his trumpet, the mystery of God should be finished, as he has declared to his servants the prophets.
8 Ningĩ mũgambo ũrĩa ndaiguĩte uumĩte igũrũ ũkĩnjarĩria rĩngĩ, ũkĩnjĩĩra atĩrĩ: “Thiĩ, woe kabuku kau ga gĩkũnjo karĩa kahingũre kuuma guoko-inĩ kwa mũraika ũcio ũrũgamĩte akinyĩte iria, na agakinya thĩ nyũmũ.”
And the voice that I heard from heaven spoke to me again, and said: Go and take the little book that is open in the hand of the angel that stands on the sea and on the land.
9 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio, ngĩthiĩ kũrĩ mũraika, na ngĩmũũria aahe kabuku kau ga gĩkũnjo. Nake akĩnjĩĩra atĩrĩ, “Koe, ũkarĩe. Gaakinya nda nĩgegũkũrũrĩra, no karĩ kanua gegũkorwo karĩ na mũrĩo ta ũũkĩ!”
And I went to the angel, and said to him: Give me the little book. And he said to me: Take it, and eat it up, and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be in your mouth as sweet as honey.
10 Ngĩkĩoya kabuku kau ga gĩkũnjo kuuma guoko-inĩ kwa mũraika ũcio, na niĩ ngĩkarĩa. Karĩ kanua kaarĩ na mũrĩo ta ũũkĩ, no ndarĩĩkia gũkarĩa, gakĩndũrĩra.
And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up, and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was bitter.
11 Ngĩcooka ngĩĩrwo atĩrĩ, “No nginya ũrathe ũhoro rĩngĩ ũkoniĩ andũ aingĩ, na ndũrĩrĩ nyingĩ, na thiomi nyingĩ, o na athamaki aingĩ.”
And he said to me: You must prophesy again before many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.
