1 Inĩrai Jehova rwĩmbo rwerũ, nĩgũkorwo nĩekĩte maũndũ ma kũgegania; guoko gwake kwa ũrĩo na gĩcoka gĩake gĩtheru nĩcio imũhonokanĩirie.

A Melody. Sing to Yahweh, a song that is new, For, wonderful things, hath he done, His own right hand and his holy arm, have brought him salvation.

2 Jehova nĩamenyithanĩtie ũhonokio wake na akaguũria ũthingu wake kũrĩ andũ a ndũrĩrĩ.

Yahweh, hath made known, his salvation, Before the eyes of the nations, hath he revealed his righteousness;

3 Nĩaririkanĩte wendo wake na wĩhokeku wake ũrĩa erĩire nyũmba ya Isiraeli; ituri ciothe cia thĩ nĩcionete ũhonokanio wa Ngai witũ.

He hath remembered his lovingkindness and his faithfulness towards the house of Israel, —All the ends of the earth, have seen, the salvation of our God.

Shout aloud to Yahweh, all the earth, Break forth and make a joyful noise and sweep the strings;

5 inĩrai Jehova na kĩnanda kĩa mũgeeto, mũmũinĩre na kĩnanda kĩa mũgeeto o na mũgambo ũrĩa mwega mũno,

Sweep the strings to Yahweh, With the lyre, With the lyre, and the voice of melody;

6 inai na tũrumbeta, na mũgambo wa coro: anĩrĩrai na gĩkeno mũrĩ mbere ya Jehova, o ũcio Mũthamaki.

With trumpets and the sound of a horn, Shout aloud, before the king—Yahweh.

7 Iria rĩrĩa inene nĩrĩrurume, na kĩrĩa gĩothe kĩrĩ thĩinĩ warĩo, mabũrũri mothe, na arĩa othe matũũraga kuo.

Let the sea, roar, and the fulness thereof, The world, and they who dwell therein;

8 Njũũĩ nacio nĩikĩhũũre hĩ, o nacio irĩma nĩciine hamwe nĩ gũkena;

Let, the floods, clap their hands, Together, let, the mountains, make a joyful noise,

9 nĩciine irĩ mbere ya Jehova, nĩgũkorwo nĩarooka nĩguo athamakĩre thĩ. Agatuĩra mabũrũri ciira na ũthingu, nakĩo kĩrĩndĩ agĩtuithanagie na werekereru.

Before Yahweh, for he is coming—to judge the earth, —He will judge the world, in righteousness, And the peoples, with equity.
