1 Jehova nĩarathamaka, thĩ nĩĩgĩkene; mabũrũri marĩa marĩ ndwere-inĩ cia iria nĩmacanjamũke.
Yahweh, hath become king, Let the earth exult, Let the multitude of coastlands rejoice.
2 Athiũrũrũkĩirio nĩ matu na nduma ndumanu; ũthingu na kĩhooto nĩcio mũthingi wa gĩtĩ gĩake kĩa ũnene.
Clouds and thick darkness, are round about him, Righteousness and justice, are the establishing of his throne.
3 Mwaki ũmũthiiaga mbere ũgĩcinaga thũ ciake na mĩena yothe.
Fire, before him, proceedeth, That it may consume, round about, his adversaries.
4 Heni ciake imũrĩkaga thĩ yothe; thĩ ĩcionaga ĩkainaina.
His lightnings, have illumined, the world, The earth, hath seen, and hath trembled;
5 Irĩma itwekaga o ta mũhũra mbere ya Jehova, igatweka irĩ mbere ya Mwathani wa thĩ yothe.
The mountains, like wax, have melted, At the presence of Yahweh, At the presence, of the Lord of all the earth.
6 Igũrũ rĩanagĩrĩra ũthingu wake, nao andũ othe makoona riiri wake.
The heavens, have declared, his righteousness, —And all the peoples, have seen, his glory.
7 Andũ arĩa othe mahooyaga mĩhianano mĩicũhie nĩmaconorithagio, acio meerahaga na mĩhianano: inyuĩ ngai ici, mũinamĩrĩrei mũmũhooe.
Let all who serve an image, be ashamed, They who boast themselves in things of nought, Bow down unto him, all ye gods.
8 Zayuni ĩiguaga ũguo ĩgakena, namo matũũra ma Juda magacanjamũka, tondũ wa matuĩro maku ma ciira, Wee Jehova.
Zion, hath heard and rejoiced, And the daughters of Judah, have exulted, Because of thy righteous decisions, O Yahweh:
9 Nĩgũkorwo Wee Jehova, nĩwe Ũrĩa-Ũrĩ-Igũrũ-Mũno wa thĩ yothe; wee nĩũtũũgĩrĩtio mũno igũrũ rĩa ngai ciothe.
For, thou, Yahweh, art Most High over all the earth, Greatly hast thou exalted thyself above all gods.
10 Arĩa endi Jehova nĩmathũũre ũũru, nĩgũkorwo nĩagitagĩra mĩoyo ya arĩa ake ehokeku, na akamateithũra kuuma moko-inĩ ma arĩa aaganu.
Ye lovers of Yahweh! be haters of wrong, —He preserveth the lives of his men of lovingkindness, From the hand of the lawless, will he rescue them.
11 Ũtheri nĩwarĩire arĩa athingu na arĩa arũngĩrĩru ngoro makaiyũrwo nĩ gĩkeno.
Light, is sown for the righteous one, And, for the upright in heart, rejoicing:
12 Kenerai Jehova, inyuĩ arĩa athingu, mũkĩgooce rĩĩtwa rĩake rĩamũre.
Rejoice, ye righteous, in Yahweh, And give ye thanks, at the mention of his holiness.
