1 Thaburi ya Ariũ a Kora Nĩahaandĩte mũthingi wa itũũra rĩake igũrũ rĩa kĩrĩma kĩrĩa kĩamũre;

2 Jehova nĩendete ihingo cia Zayuni gũkĩra ciikaro iria ingĩ ciothe cia Jakubu.
Jerusalem is the city that the Lord loves more than any other city in Israel.

It will be said concerning Jerusalem, “Everyone was born there,” and the Most High will make it secure.
6 Jehova nĩakandĩka ibuku-inĩ rĩa kĩrĩndĩ ũũ: “Ũyũ aaciarĩirwo Zayuni.”
When the Lord registers the nations, he will write, “They were born there.” (Selah)
7 Nao magĩtunga nyĩmbo makaina atĩrĩ, “Ithima ciakwa ciothe irĩ thĩinĩ waku.”
Singers and dancers alike say, “Living here I am at home.”
