1 Thaburi ya Solomoni Wee Ngai, he mũthamaki ũhoti wa gũtuuanagĩra ciira na kĩhooto, na mũrũ wa mũthamaki ũkĩmũhe ũthingu waku.
Solomon’s. O God! thy justice, give, unto the king, And thy righteousness, unto the son of a king;
2 Nake nĩarĩciiragĩra andũ aku na ũthingu, andũ aku arĩa anyamaarĩku amatuagĩre ciira na kĩhooto.
May he judge, Thy people with righteousness; And thine oppressed ones with justice;
3 Irĩma igaatũmaga andũ magaacĩre, natuo tũrĩma tũciarage matunda ma ũthingu.
May the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills [be laden] with righteousness;
4 Nĩarĩgitagĩra andũ arĩa anyamaarĩku gatagatĩ ka andũ, na ahonokie ciana cia arĩa abatari; nĩakahehenja arĩa mamahinyagĩrĩria.
May he, Vindicate the oppressed of the people, Bring deliverance to the children of the needy, and, Crush the oppressor.
5 Mũthamaki arotũũra hĩndĩ ĩrĩa yothe riũa rĩgũtũũra, na rĩrĩa rĩothe mweri ũgũtũũra nginya njiarwa na njiarwa.
Let men revere thee, With the sun, And in presence of the moon, Unto the remotest generation.
6 Arĩhaanaga ta mbura ĩkiurĩra mũgũnda mũtũgũte, ahaane ta rũthuthuũ ũrĩa rũihũgagia thĩ.
Let him come down, Like rain on fields to be mown, Like myriad drops on land to be reaped.
7 Matukũ-inĩ make andũ arĩa athingu nĩmagatheerema; naguo ũgaacĩru ũingĩhe o nginya rĩrĩa mweri ũgaakorwo ũtarĩ ho.
May righteousness, in his days, blossom forth, And abundance of peace, till there be no moon.
8 Agaathanaga kuuma iria rĩmwe nginya rĩrĩa rĩngĩ, na kuuma Rũũĩ rwa Farati o nginya ituri cia thĩ.
So let him have dominion, From sea to sea, And from the River ["Euphrates"] unto the ends of the earth;
9 Ndũrĩrĩ cia werũ-inĩ nĩikainamĩrĩra mbere yake, nacio thũ ciake icũne rũkũngũ.
Before him, let the men of the desert kneel, But, as for his foes, the dust, let them lick;
10 Athamaki a Tarishishi na a mabũrũri marĩa marĩ hũgũrũrũ-inĩ cia kũraya nĩmakamũrehagĩra igooti; nao athamaki a Sheba na Seba nĩmakamũrehagĩra iheo.
The kings of Tarshish and of the Coastlands, A gift, let them render, The kings of Sheba and Seba, A present, let them bring;
11 Athamaki othe makaamũinamĩrĩra, nacio ndũrĩrĩ ciothe imũtungatagĩre.
Yea let all kings, bow down unto him, Let, all nations, serve him;
12 Nĩgũkorwo nĩakahonokia abatari maamũkaĩra, o na arĩa anyamaarie matarĩ na wa kũmateithia.
Because he Rescueth, The needy from the rich, The oppressed, who hath no helper;
13 Nĩakaiguagĩra tha arĩa matarĩ hinya na arĩa abatari, na ahonokie arĩa athĩĩni kuuma kũrĩ gĩkuũ.
He Pitieth the weak and the needy, And, the lives of the needy, he Saveth:
14 Nĩakamateithũra kuuma kũrĩ arĩa mamahinyagĩrĩria na kuuma haaro-inĩ, nĩgũkorwo thakame yao ĩrĩ bata mũno maitho-inĩ make.
From extortion, and, violence, he Redeemeth their life, And precious is their blood in his sight.
15 Arogĩtũũra hĩndĩ ndaaya! Aroheagwo thahabu ya kuuma Sheba. Arotũũra ahooyagĩrwo nĩ andũ hĩndĩ ciothe, na mamũrathimage mũthenya wothe.
Let him live, then! And be there given unto him of the gold of Sheba, —Let prayer also be offered for him continually, All the day, let him be blessed.
16 Bũrũri ũrogĩa na bũthi wa ngano kũndũ guothe; ĩrorirũkĩra tũrĩma-igũrũ. Maciaro makuo marothegea ta ma Lebanoni; nakuo matũũra-inĩ andũ marotheerema ta nyeki ya gĩthaka.
May there be an abundance of corn in the earth, in the top of the mountains, —Let the fruit thereof, wave like Lebanon, And they of the city bloom like the fresh shoots of the earth.
17 Rĩĩtwa rĩake rĩrotũũra nginya tene; rĩrotũũra o ta ũrĩa riũa rĩgũtũũra. Ndũrĩrĩ ciothe nĩikarathimwo nĩ ũndũ wake, nacio imwĩtage mũndũ mũrathime.
May his Name be age-abiding, In the presence of the sun, let his Name flourish, —And may all the families of the ground bless themselves in him, All nations, pronounce him happy!
18 Goocai Jehova Ngai, o we Ngai wa Isiraeli, o we wiki wĩkaga maũndũ ma magegania.
Blessed be Yahweh God, the God of Israel, —Who doeth wondrous things by himself alone;
19 Rĩĩtwa rĩake rĩu rĩrĩ riiri rĩrogoocagwo nginya tene; nayo thĩ yothe ĩroiyũrwo nĩ riiri wake.
And blessed be his glorious Name, unto times age-abiding, —And filled with his glory be all the earth, Amen and Amen!
20 Ũcio nĩguo mũthia wa mahooya ma Daudi, mũrũ wa Jesii.
