1 Thaburi ya Ariũ a Kora Ngoro yakwa ĩiyũrĩtwo nĩ ũhoro mwega rĩrĩa ngũinĩra mũthamaki rwĩmbo rũrũ; rũrĩmĩ rwakwa no ta karamu ka mwandĩki ũrĩa mũũgĩ.

2 Wee ũrĩ mũthaka mũno gũkĩra andũ othe, nacio iromo ciaku nĩciitĩrĩirio maũndũ ma ũtugi, kuona atĩ Ngai nĩakũrathimĩte nginya tene.

Your arrows pierce the hearts of the king’s foes; the nations fall beneath your feet.
6 Wee Ngai, gĩtĩ gĩaku kĩa ũnene gĩgũtũũra tene na tene; mũthĩgi waku wa kĩhooto nĩguo ũgaatuĩka mũthĩgi wa ũthamaki waku.
Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom.
7 Wee wendete ũthingu no ũgathũũra waganu; nĩ ũndũ ũcio Ngai, o we Ngai waku, nĩakwambararĩtie gũkĩra athiritũ aku othe na ũndũ wa gũgũitĩrĩria maguta ma gĩkeno.
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you above your companions with the oil of joy.

10 Ta thikĩrĩria, wee mwarĩ ũyũ, wĩcũũranie na ũigue: Riganĩrwo nĩ andũ anyu o na nyũmba ya thoguo.
Listen, O daughter! Consider and incline your ear: Forget your people and your father’s house,
11 Mũthamaki nĩakenetio mũno nĩ ũthaka waku; mũtĩĩe, nĩgũkorwo nĩwe mwathi waku.
and the king will desire your beauty; bow to him, for he is your lord.
12 Mwarĩ wa Turo nĩagakũrehera kĩheo, o nao andũ arĩa atongu mũno magatuĩka a kwĩyendithia harĩwe.
The Daughter of Tyre will come with a gift; men of wealth will seek your favor.
13 Mwarĩ wa mũthamaki no riiri mũtheri arĩ naguo arĩ thĩinĩ wa nyũmba yake, nguo yake ĩtumĩtwo na ndigi cia thahabu.

They are led in with joy and gladness; they enter the palace of the king.
16 Ciana cianyu nĩcio igaacooka ithenya rĩa maithe manyu; ũkaamatua anene bũrũri-inĩ guothe.
Your sons will succeed your fathers; you will make them princes throughout the land.
