1 Goocai Jehova. Inĩrai Jehova rwĩmbo rwerũ, mũmũgooce mũrĩ kĩũngano-inĩ kĩa arĩa aamũre.

Praise ye Jah! Sing ye to Jehovah a new song, His praise in an assembly of saints.

2 Andũ a Isiraeli nĩmakenere ũcio wamombire; andũ a Zayuni nĩmacanjamũke nĩ ũndũ wa Mũthamaki wao.

Israel doth rejoice in his Maker, Sons of Zion do joy in their king.

3 Nĩmagooce rĩĩtwa rĩake makĩrũgarũgaga, na mamũinĩre na tũhembe, na kĩnanda kĩa mũgeeto.

They praise His name in a dance, With timbrel and harp sing praise to Him.

4 Nĩgũkorwo Jehova nĩakenagio nĩ andũ ake; andũ arĩa ahooreri amahumbaga thũmbĩ ya ũhonokio.

For Jehovah is pleased with His people, He beautifieth the humble with salvation.

5 Andũ arĩa aamũre nĩmakenere gĩtĩĩo kĩu, na maine macanjamũkĩte marĩ o marĩrĩ-inĩ mao.

Exult do saints in honour, They sing aloud on their beds.

6 Ũgooci wa Mũrungu ũrokorwo tũnua-inĩ twao, na rũhiũ rwa njora rũnoore mĩena yeerĩ rũkorwo moko-inĩ mao,

The exaltation of God [is] in their throat, And a two-edged sword in their hand.

7 nĩguo meerĩhĩrie harĩ ndũrĩrĩ, na maherithie kĩrĩndĩ gĩa thĩ,

To do vengeance among nations, Punishments among the peoples.

8 nĩguo moohe athamaki ao na mĩnyororo, na moohe andũ ao arĩa marĩ igweta na bĩngũ cia kĩgera,

To bind their kings with chains, And their honoured ones with fetters of iron,

9 nĩguo mamakinyĩrie ituĩro rĩrĩa mandĩkĩirwo. Ũcio nĩguo riiri wa andũ ake othe arĩa aamũre. Goocai Jehova.

To do among them the judgment written, An honour it [is] for all his saints. Praise ye Jah!
