1 Thaburi ya Daudi Wee Jehova, ngoro yakwa ndĩrĩ na mwĩgaatho, o na maitho makwa ti ma mwĩtũũgĩrio; niĩ ndirũmbũyanagia na maũndũ manene, o na kana maũndũ ma magegania marĩa mangĩrĩte.
Yhwh, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2 No rĩrĩ, nĩhooreretie na ngakiria ngoro yakwa; o ta kaana gatuithĩtio iria gakuuĩtwo nĩ nyina, o ta kaana gatuithĩtio iria nĩguo ngoro yakwa ĩhaana ĩrĩ thĩinĩ wakwa.
Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
3 Atĩrĩrĩ wee Isiraeli, wĩhokage Jehova rĩu na nginya tene.
Let Israel hope in Yhwh from henceforth and for ever.
