1 Goocai Jehova. Kũrathimwo nĩ mũndũ ũrĩa wĩtigagĩra Jehova, ũrĩa ũkenagĩra maathani make mũno.
Praise Yahweh - how blessed! [is] a person fearing Yahweh in commandments his he delights exceedingly.
2 Ciana ciake nĩigatuĩka cia bata bũrũri-inĩ; rũciaro rwa arĩa arũngĩrĩru nĩrũkarathimwo.
Mighty in the land it will be offspring his [the] generation of upright [people] it will be blessed.
3 Gwake mũciĩ gũkoragwo na ũtonga na indo nyingĩ, naguo ũthingu wake ũtũũraga nginya tene.
Wealth and rich[es] [are] in house his and righteousness his [is] enduring for ever.
4 Mũndũ ũrĩa mũrũngĩrĩru o na arĩ nduma-inĩ nĩatheragĩrwo nĩ ũtheri, ũgatherera mũndũ ũcio mũtugani, ningĩ arĩ tha, o na nĩ mũthingu.
It rises in the darkness light for the upright [people] [the] gracious and [the] compassionate and [the] righteous.
5 Mũndũ ũcio mũtugani na ũheanaga o ũguo tũhũ, o ũcio wĩkaga maũndũ make na kĩhooto-rĩ, nĩarĩonaga maũndũ mega.
[is] good A person [who] shows favor and [who] lends he maintains affairs his with justice.
6 Ti-itherũ mũndũ ũcio ndakenyenyeka; mũndũ mũthingu atũũraga aririkanagwo nginya tene.
For for ever not he will be shaken a memory of perpetuity he will become a righteous [person].
7 Angĩigua ũhoro mũũru ndangĩĩtigĩra; ngoro yake nĩĩkindĩire, aikaraga ehokete o Jehova.
From new[s] bad not he will be afraid [is] steadfast heart his trusting in Yahweh.
8 Ngoro yake nĩngitĩre, ndangĩĩtigĩra; marigĩrĩrio-inĩ nĩakoona gũtoorio gwa thũ ciake.
[is] supported Heart his not he will be afraid until that he will look on foes his.
9 Nĩahurunjĩte iheo ciake akahe andũ arĩa athĩĩni, naguo ũthingu wake ũtũũraga nginya tene; rũhĩa rwake nĩrũkambarario na igũrũ, aheo gĩtĩĩo.
He scatters - he gives to needy [people] righteousness his [is] enduring for ever horn his it will be exalted in honor.
10 Mũndũ ũrĩa mwaganu nĩakoona ũguo na arakare, nĩakahagarania magego make, acooke abuĩrie; merirĩria ma arĩa aaganu matigaakinyanĩra.
A wicked [person] he will see - and he will be angry teeth his he will gnash and he will melt away [the] desire of wicked [people] it will perish.
