1 Goocai Jehova. Nĩngũkumia Jehova na ngoro yakwa yothe ndĩ thiritũ-inĩ ya arĩa arũngĩrĩru, o na kĩũngano-inĩ.

Praise the Lord! I will thank the Lord with all my heart in the congregation of the faithful.

2 Ciĩko cia Jehova nĩ cia magegania; nĩicũũranagio nĩ arĩa othe makenagio nĩcio.

All the wonderful things the Lord has done are studied by everyone who loves them.

3 Ciĩko ciake ciyũrĩte riiri na ũkaru, naguo ũthingu wake ũtũũraga nginya tene.

His majesty and honor are revealed by what he does; his goodness lasts forever.

4 Nĩatũmĩte magegania make maririkanwo; Jehova nĩ mũtugi na nĩ mũigua tha.

He wants the wonderful things he has done to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and kind.

5 Arĩa mamwĩtigagĩra nĩamaheaga irio; egũtũũra aririkanaga kĩrĩkanĩro gĩake nginya tene.

He feeds those who respect him; he always remembers the agreement he made.

6 Nĩonetie andũ ake mawĩra make ma hinya, nĩ ũndũ wa kũmahe mabũrũri ma ndũrĩrĩ iria ingĩ.

He demonstrated to his people the powerful things he could do by giving them the lands of other nations.

7 Mawĩra ma moko make nĩ ma kwĩhokeka, na nĩ ma kĩhooto; mataaro make mothe nĩ ma kwĩhokwo.

Everything he does can be depended on, and is right; all his commandments are trustworthy.

8 Nĩ marũmu nginya tene na tene, maheanĩtwo na wĩhokeku na ũrũngĩrĩru.

They remain rock-solid forever. He was true and right in saying what should be done.

9 Nĩakinyĩirie andũ ake ũkũũri; aamũrire kĩrĩkanĩro gĩake kĩrĩ gĩa gũtũũra nginya tene: rĩĩtwa rĩake nĩ itheru na nĩ rĩa gwĩtigĩrwo.

He delivered his people. He commanded that his agreement would continue forever. How holy and awesome is his reputation!

10 Kĩambĩrĩria kĩa ũũgĩ nĩ gwĩtigĩra Jehova; arĩa othe marũmagĩrĩra mataaro make nĩmagĩĩaga na ũmenyo mwega. Kũgoocwo nĩ gwake tene na tene.

The beginning of wisdom is honoring the Lord. Those who follow what he says do well. He is to be praised forever!
