1 Thaburi ya Daudi Jehova nĩerire Mwathani wakwa atĩrĩ: “Ikara guoko-inĩ gwakwa kwa ũrĩo, nginya rĩrĩa ngaatũma thũ ciaku ituĩke gaturwa ka makinya maku.”

2 Mũthĩgi wa hinya waku-rĩ, Jehova nĩakaũtambũrũkia kuuma Zayuni; nĩũgaathana ũrĩ gatagatĩ ga thũ ciaku.
On Zion the Lord is wielding your sceptre of might, and charges you to rule over the foes that surround you.
3 Ikundi ciaku cia ita nĩikerutĩra mũthenya waku wa mbaara. Igooka irĩ na ũgemu wa ũtheru, aanake aku mahaana ta ime rĩoima nda ya rũciinĩ ruoro rũgĩtema.
The day that you march to battle your people will follow you gladly young warriors in holy array, like dew-drops, born of the morning.
4 Jehova nĩehĩtĩte na ndangĩĩricũkwo, akoiga atĩrĩ: “Wee ũrĩ mũthĩnjĩri-Ngai nginya tene, o ta ũrĩa Melikisedeki aatariĩ.”
The Lord has sworn and will not repent, “As for you, you are priest for ever as Melchizedek was.”
5 Mwathani arĩ guoko-inĩ gwaku kwa ũrĩo; nĩakahehenja athamaki mũthenya wa mangʼũrĩ make.
By your side will the Lord shatter kings on the day of his wrath.
6 Nĩagatuĩra ndũrĩrĩ ciira, aige ciimba irũndo, na ahehenje aathani a thĩ yothe.
He will execute judgment filling the valleys with dead, the broad fields with shattered heads.
7 Nĩakanyua maaĩ ma karũũĩ karĩ mũkĩra-inĩ; nĩ ũndũ ũcio nĩakambararia mũtwe wake.
He will drink of the brook by the way, and march onward with uplifted head.
