1 Cookeria Jehova ngaatho, kaĩrai rĩĩtwa rĩake; menyithiai ndũrĩrĩ maũndũ marĩa ekĩte.
Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples.
2 Mũinĩrei, mũmũinĩre mũkĩmũgoocaga; heanai ũhoro wa ciĩko ciake ciothe cia magegania.
Sing to him, sing zahmar ·musical praise· to him! Tell of all his marvelous works.
3 Mwĩrahei nĩ ũndũ wa rĩĩtwa rĩake itheru; ngoro cia arĩa marongoragia Jehova nĩikene.
Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Adonai rejoice.
4 Cũthĩrĩriai Jehova na hinya wake; mathaai ũthiũ wake hĩndĩ ciothe.
Seek Adonai and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
5 Ririkanai magegania marĩa ekĩte, na ciama ciake, na matuĩro ma ciira marĩa atuĩte,
Remember his marvelous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
6 inyuĩ njiaro cia Iburahĩmu ndungata yake, o inyuĩ ciana cia Jakubu, inyuĩ ake athuure.
you offspring of Abraham [Father of a multitude], his servant, you children of Jacob [Supplanter], his chosen ones.
7 Jehova nĩwe Ngai witũ; matuĩro make ma ciira marĩ thĩ yothe.
He is Adonai, our God. His judgments are in all the earth.
8 Nĩaririkanaga kĩrĩkanĩro gĩake nginya tene, nĩkĩo kiugo kĩrĩa aathanire, nĩ ũndũ wa njiarwa ngiri,
He has remembered his covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· forever, the word which he enjoined to a thousand generations,
9 kĩrĩkanĩro kĩrĩa aarĩkanĩire na Iburahĩmu, na noguo mwĩhĩtwa ũrĩa eehĩtire harĩ Isaaka.
the covenant which he made with Abraham [Father of a multitude], his oath to Isaac [Laughter],
10 Nĩagĩĩkĩrire hinya harĩ Jakubu kĩrĩ kĩrĩra gĩake kĩa watho wa kũrũmagĩrĩrwo, agĩgĩĩkĩra hinya harĩ Isiraeli kĩrĩ kĩrĩkanĩro gĩa gũtũũra tene na tene:
and confirmed the same to Jacob [Supplanter] for a statute; to Israel [God prevails] for an everlasting covenant,
11 “Wee nĩwe ngaahe bũrũri wa Kaanani ũtuĩke igai rĩrĩa ũkaagaya.”
saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan [Humbled], the lot of your inheritance;”
12 Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa maarĩ o anini magĩtarwo, o anini biũ, na marĩ ageni kuo-rĩ,
when they were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.
13 morũũraga kuuma rũrĩrĩ rũmwe nginya rũrĩa rũngĩ, na kuuma ũthamaki-inĩ ũmwe nginya ũrĩa ũngĩ.
They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
14 Ndarĩ mũndũ o na ũmwe eetĩkĩririe amanyariire; nĩ ũndũ wao akĩrũithia athamaki, akĩmeera atĩrĩ:
He allowed no one to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
15 “Mũtikanahutie andũ arĩa akwa aitĩrĩrie maguta; mũtikaneke anabii akwa ũũru.”
“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”
16 Agĩtũma bũrũri ũcio ũgĩe ngʼaragu, na akĩniina mĩthiithũ yao yothe ya irio;
He called for a famine on the land. He destroyed the food supplies.
17 agĩtũma mũndũ athiĩ mbere yao: nĩwe Jusufu, ũrĩa wendirio arĩ ngombo.
He sent a man before them. Joseph [May he add] was sold for a slave.
18 Nĩmamũtiihirie magũrũ na bĩngũ, na makĩmuoha ngingo na igera,
They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,

The king sent and freed him; even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.

He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions;

to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.

Israel [God prevails] also came into Egypt [Abode of slavery]. Jacob [Supplanter] lived in the land of Ham [Hot, Intensity, Passion].

He increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.

He turned their heart to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.

They performed miracles among them, and wonders in the land of Ham [Hot, Intensity, Passion].

He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn’t rebel against his words.

He spoke, and swarms of flies came, and lice in all their borders.

He gave them hail for rain, with lightning in their land.
33 akĩrũnda mĩthabibũ yao, na mĩkũyũ, na akiunanga mĩtĩ ya bũrũri wao.
He struck their vines and also their fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.
34 Aaririe, nacio ngigĩ igĩũka, na ndaahi itangĩtarĩka;
He spoke, and the locusts came, and the grasshoppers, without number,
35 ikĩrĩa kĩndũ gĩothe kĩarĩ kĩĩruru bũrũri-inĩ wao, na ikĩrĩa maciaro ma tĩĩri wao.
ate up every plant in their land; and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 Ningĩ akĩũraga marigithathi mothe ma bũrũri wao, maciaro ma mbere ma ũciari wao wothe.
He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.
37 Nĩaarutire Isiraeli makiuma kuo, makuuĩte betha na thahabu, na gatagatĩ ka mĩhĩrĩga yao hatiarĩ mũndũ o na ũmwe warĩ mũhinyaru.
He brought them out with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person among his tribes.

Egypt [Abode of slavery] was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen on them.

For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham [Father of a multitude], his servant.
43 Nĩaarutire andũ ake makiuma kũu makenete, akĩruta acio ake athuure makĩanagĩrĩra nĩ gũkena;
He brought his people out with joy, his chosen with singing.
44 akĩmahe mabũrũri ma ndũrĩrĩ, nao magĩtuĩka a kũgaya kĩrĩa andũ angĩ maanogeire,
He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labor of the peoples in possession,
45 nĩguo marũmagie mataaro make, na maathĩkagĩre mawatho make. Goocai Jehova.
that they might keep his statutes, and observe his torot ·teachings·. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
