Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
2 Mwĩmenyagĩrĩrei andũ acio mahaana ta magui, o acio mekaga maũndũ mooru, na arĩa metemengaga mĩĩrĩ.
Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
3 Nĩgũkorwo ithuĩ nĩ ithuĩ tũruĩte kũna, ithuĩ arĩa tũhooyaga na Roho wa Ngai, o ithuĩ arĩa twĩrahaga thĩinĩ wa Kristũ Jesũ, naguo mwĩhoko witũ tũtiũigaga thĩinĩ wa mwĩrĩ,
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, (pneuma) and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
5 Nĩgũkorwo niĩ ndaruithirio ndĩ na ũkũrũ wa thikũ inyanya, na ndĩ wa rũciaro rwa andũ a Isiraeli, na wa mũhĩrĩga wa Benjamini, na ndĩ Mũhibirania waciarĩtwo nĩ Ahibirania. Ha ũhoro ũkoniĩ watho-rĩ, ndĩ Mũfarisai;
Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as concerning the law, a Pharisee;
Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
7 No rĩrĩ, maũndũ mothe marĩa ndaatuaga atĩ maarĩ na uumithio kũrĩ niĩ-rĩ, rĩu ndĩmonaga marĩ ma tũhũ nĩ ũndũ wa kũgĩa na Kristũ.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 Ũndũ ũrĩa niĩ ngwenda-rĩ, nĩ kũmenya Kristũ, na menye hinya wa kũriũka gwake, na ngwatanĩre nake mĩnyamaro-inĩ yake, na haanane nake ũhoro-inĩ wake wa gũkua,
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 nĩguo kũngĩhoteka, ngaariũkio nyume kũrĩ arĩa akuũ.
If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 Ndiroiga atĩ nĩndĩkĩtie kwamũkĩra maũndũ macio mothe, o na kana ngarĩkia gũtuĩka mwagĩrĩru kũna, no nĩndĩĩrutanagĩria na kĩyo nĩgeetha ndĩnyiitĩre o ũndũ ũrĩa ndanyiitĩirwo nĩ Kristũ Jesũ.
Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 Ariũ na aarĩ a Ithe witũ, ndigũtua atĩ niĩ mwene nĩndĩkĩtie kwĩnyiitĩra ũndũ ũcio. No rĩrĩ, ũndũ ũrĩa njĩkaga no ũmwe: Nĩkũriganĩrwo ndiganagĩrwo nĩ maũndũ marĩa mahĩtũku, na ngerutanĩria mũno gũkinyĩra maũndũ marĩa marĩ mbere,
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 ngerutanagĩria gũthiĩ ndorete na mbere nĩguo hootane heo kĩheo kĩrĩa Ngai aheanaga, na nĩkĩo aanjĩtĩire thĩinĩ wa Kristũ Jesũ atĩ nĩguo thiĩ igũrũ.
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Ithuothe arĩa tũrĩ andũ agima-rĩ, twagĩrĩirwo nĩtũtũũre twĩciiragia o ũguo. Na hangĩkorwo nĩ harĩ andũ marĩ na meciiria mangĩ-rĩ, o na hau Ngai nĩarĩmũguũrĩria.
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing all of you be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
16 No rĩrĩ, rekei tũtũũre kũringana na maũndũ marĩa tũrĩkĩtie kũgĩa namo.
Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as all of you have us for an example.
18 Nĩgũkorwo, o ta ũrĩa ndanamwĩra kaingĩ mbere ĩyo, na o na rĩu no ngũcookera rĩngĩ ũhoro ũcio ndĩ na maithori, andũ aingĩ matũũraga marĩ thũ cia mũtharaba wa Kristũ.
(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 Andũ acio-rĩ, kũrigĩrĩria kwao nĩ mwanangĩko, ngai yao nĩ nda ciao, namo maũndũ ma kũmaconora nĩmo riiri wao. Ningĩ meciiragia o maũndũ ma gũkũ thĩ.
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20 No rĩrĩ, bũrũri ũrĩa tũrĩ aguo kĩũmbe nĩ kũũrĩa igũrũ. Na ithuĩ nĩtwetagĩrĩra Mũhonokia ũrĩa ũkoima kũu, na nĩwe Mwathani Jesũ Kristũ,
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 ũrĩa ũkaagarũra mĩĩrĩ ĩno iitũ mĩhinyaru nĩgeetha ĩhaananio na mwĩrĩ wake ũcio ũrĩ riiri, nĩ ũndũ wa hinya ũrĩa ũmũhotithagia gwatha maũndũ mothe.
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
