These are the stages in the journeys of the children of Israel [God prevails], as they left the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery] divided into groups under the leadership of Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer].
2 Musa nĩandĩkire matĩĩna ma rũgendo rwao o ta ũrĩa aathĩtwo nĩ Jehova. Maya nĩmo matĩĩna ma rũgendo rwao.
Moses [Drawn out] recorded each of the stages of their journeys by the order of Adonai. These are their journeys according to their goings out.
3 Andũ a Isiraeli moimagarire kuuma Ramesese mũthenya wa ikũmi na ĩtano mweri wa mbere, mũthenya ũrĩa warũmĩrĩire Bathaka. Makiumagara momĩrĩirie, makĩonagwo nĩ andũ othe a Misiri,
They traveled from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the Pesac ·Passover·, the children of Israel [God prevails] went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery],
4 arĩa maathikaga marigithathi mao mothe, marĩa Jehova ooragĩte gatagatĩ kao; nĩgũkorwo Jehova nĩatuĩrĩire ngai ciao ciira.
while the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] were burying all their firstborn, whom Adonai had struck among them. Adonai also executed judgments on their deities.

The children of Israel [God prevails] traveled from Rameses, and encamped in Sukkot.

They traveled from Sukkot, and encamped in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.

They traveled from Etham, and turned back to Pihahiroth, which is before Baal Zephon: and they encamped before Migdol.
8 Moima Pi-Hahirothu, magĩtuĩkanĩria iria-inĩ gatagatĩ, magĩkinya werũ-inĩ, na maarĩkia gũthiĩ rũgendo rwa mĩthenya ĩtatũ werũ-inĩ ũcio wa Ethamu, makĩamba hema ciao Mara.
They traveled from before Hahiroth, and crossed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness. They went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.
9 Moima Mara maathiire Elimu, kũrĩa kwarĩ na ithima ikũmi na igĩrĩ, na mĩtende mĩrongo mũgwanja, na makĩamba hema kuo.
They traveled from Marah, and came to Elim. In Elim, there were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm trees; and they encamped there.
10 Moima Elimu magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao hakuhĩ na Iria Itune.
They traveled from Elim, and encamped by the Sea of Suf [Reed Sea].
11 Moima Iria Itune, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao werũ-inĩ wa Sini.
They traveled from the Sea of Suf [Reed Sea], and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
12 Moima werũ ũcio wa Sini, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao Dofika.
They traveled from the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
13 Moima Dofika, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao Alushu.
They traveled from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
14 Moima Alushu, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao Refidimu, handũ hataarĩ na maaĩ ma kũnyuuo nĩ andũ.
They traveled from Alush, and encamped in Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.
15 Moima Refidimu, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao Werũ-inĩ wa Sinai.
They traveled from Rephidim, and encamped in the wilderness of Sinai [Thorn].

They traveled from Jotbathah, and encamped in Abronah.

They traveled from Abronah, and encamped in Ezion Geber.

They traveled from Ezion Geber, and encamped at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.
37 Moima Kadeshi, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao Kĩrĩma-inĩ kĩa Horu, mũhaka-inĩ wa Edomu.
They traveled from Kadesh, and encamped in Mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom [Red].
38 O ta ũrĩa aathĩtwo nĩ Jehova-rĩ, Harũni ũrĩa mũthĩnjĩri-Ngai akĩambata Kĩrĩma kĩa Horu, harĩa aakuĩrĩire mũthenya wa mbere wa mweri wa gatano, mwaka-inĩ wa mĩrongo ĩna kuuma andũ a Isiraeli moima bũrũri wa Misiri.
At the order of Adonai, Aaron [Light-bringer] the priest went up into Mount Hor, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel [God prevails] had come out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.
39 Harũni aarĩ na ũkũrũ wa mĩaka igana rĩa mĩrongo ĩĩrĩ na ĩtatũ rĩrĩa aakuĩrĩire kũu Kĩrĩma kĩa Horu.
Aaron [Light-bringer] was one hundred twenty-three years old when he died in Mount Hor.

The Canaanite [Descendant of Humbled], the king of Arad, who lived in the South in the land of Canaan [Humbled], sh'ma ·heard obeyed· of the coming of the children of Israel [God prevails].

They traveled from Mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah.
42 Moima Zalimona, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao Punoni.
They traveled from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon.
43 Moima Punoni, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao Obothu.
They traveled from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.
44 Moima Obothu, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao Iye-Abarimu, mũhaka-inĩ wa Moabi.
They traveled from Oboth, and encamped in Iye Abarim, in the border of Moab [From father].
45 Moima Iyimu, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao Diboni-Gadi.
They traveled from Iyim, and encamped in Dibon Gad [Good fortune].
46 Moima Diboni-Gadi, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao Alimoni-Dibilathaimu.
They traveled from Dibon Gad [Good fortune], and encamped in Almon Diblathaim.
47 Moima Alimoni-Dibilathaimu, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao irĩma-inĩ cia Abarimu hakuhĩ na Nebo.
They traveled from Almon Diblathaim, and encamped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
48 Moima irĩma-inĩ cia Abarimu, magĩthiĩ makĩamba hema ciao werũ-inĩ wa Moabi hũgũrũrũ-inĩ cia Rũũĩ rwa Jorodani mũrĩmo ũrĩa ũngĩ wa Jeriko.
They traveled from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab [From father] by the Jordan [Descender] at Jericho [Fragrant, Moon].
49 Maambire hema hũgũrũrũ-inĩ cia Rũũĩ rwa Jorodani kuuma Bethi-Jeshimothu nginya Abeli-Shitimu, kũu werũ-inĩ wa Moabi.
They encamped by the Jordan [Descender], from Beth Jeshimoth even to Abel [Vanity, Mourning] Shittim in the plains of Moab [From father].
50 Kũu werũ-inĩ wa Moabi hũgũrũrũ-inĩ cia Rũũĩ rwa Jorodani mũrĩmo ũrĩa ũngĩ wa Jeriko, nĩkuo Jehova erĩire Musa atĩrĩ,
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] in the plains of Moab [From father] by the Jordan [Descender] at Jericho [Fragrant, Moon], saying,
51 “Arĩria andũ a Isiraeli, na ũmeere atĩrĩ: ‘Rĩrĩa mũkaaringa Rũũĩ rwa Jorodani mũtoonye Kaanani-rĩ,
Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them, “When you pass over the Jordan [Descender] into the land of Canaan [Humbled],
52 mũkaaingata andũ arĩa othe matũũraga bũrũri ũcio, mehere mbere yanyu. Mũkaananga mĩhianano yao yothe ĩrĩa mĩicũhie, na mĩhianano yao ĩrĩa ya gũtwekio, o na mũmomore mahooero mao mothe ma kũndũ kũrĩa gũtũũgĩru.
then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their stone idols, destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places.
53 Mwĩnyiitĩrei bũrũri ũcio ũtuĩke wanyu na mũtũũre kuo, nĩgũkorwo nĩ ndĩmũheete bũrũri ũcio ũtuĩke wanyu.
You shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for I have given the land to you to possess it.
54 Mũkaagayania bũrũri ũcio na ũndũ wa kũũcukĩra mĩtĩ, kũringana na mĩhĩrĩga yanyu. Kũrĩ gĩkundi kĩnene mũheane igai inene, na gĩkundi kĩnini mũkĩhe igai inini. Kĩrĩa gĩkaamagũĩra na ũndũ wa gũcuuka mĩtĩ nĩkĩo gĩgaatuĩka kĩao. Nĩmũgakũgayania kũringana na mĩhĩrĩga ya maithe manyu ma tene.
You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.
55 “‘No mũngĩkaaga kũingata atũũri a bũrũri ũcio-rĩ, arĩa mũgeetĩkĩria matigwo magaatuĩka ngaracũ cia kũmũtũraga maitho, o na matuĩke mĩigua ya kũmũtheecaga mbaru. Nao nĩmakamũthĩĩnagia kũu bũrũri ũcio mũgaatũũra.
“But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be as pricks in your eyes and as thorns in your sides, and they will harass you in the land in which you dwell.
56 Na rĩrĩ, ũndũ ũrĩa ndaciirĩire kũmeka-rĩ, ũtuĩke nĩguo ngaamwĩka inyuĩ.’”
It shall happen that as I thought to do to them, so will I do to you.”
