Nehemia 3

And Eliashib the high priest rises, and his brothers the priests, and they build the Sheep Gate; they have sanctified it, and set up its doors, even to the Tower of Meah they have sanctified it, to the Tower of Hananeel;
2 Andũ a Jeriko magĩaka gĩcunjĩ kĩrĩa kĩariganĩtie na ho, nake Zakuri mũrũ wa Imuri agĩaka kũrigania nao.
and by his hand men of Jericho have built; and by their hand Zaccur son of Imri has built;

and sons of Hassenaah have built the Fish Gate; they have walled it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.

5 Gĩcunjĩ kĩrĩa kĩarũmĩrĩire gĩacookereirio nĩ andũ a Tekoa, no andũ ao arĩa maarĩ igweta nĩmaregire kũruta wĩra ũrĩa maaheetwo nĩ arũgamĩrĩri ao.
and by his hand the Tekoites have strengthened, and their majestic ones have not brought in their neck to the service of their Lord.
6 Joiada mũrũ wa Pasea marĩ na Meshulamu mũrũ wa Besodeia nĩo macookereirie Kĩhingo kĩa Jeshanahi. Nĩmarire mĩgogo yakĩo, na magĩĩkĩra mĩrango na igera cia kũmĩhinga na icuuma ciakĩo.
And Jehoiada son of Paseah and Meshullam son of Besodeiah have strengthened the Old Gate; they have walled it, and set up its doors, and its locks, and its bars.
7 Kũrigania nao, wĩra wa gũcookereria rũthingo warutirwo nĩ andũ a kuuma Gibeoni na Mizipa, nĩo Melatia wa Gibeoni, na Jadoni wa Meronothu, matũũra marĩa maathagwo nĩ barũthi wa Mũrĩmo-wa-Farati.
And by their hand Melatiah the Gibeonite has strengthened, and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, [belonging] to the throne of the governor beyond the River.

By his hand Uzziel son of Harhaiah of the refiners has strengthened; and by his hand Hananiah son of [one of] the compounders has strengthened; and they leave Jerusalem to the broad wall.
9 Gĩcunjĩ kĩrĩa kĩarũmĩrĩire gĩacookereirio nĩ Refaia mũrũ wa Huri ũrĩa warĩ mwathi wa nuthu ya gĩcigo kĩmwe kĩa Jerusalemu.
And by their hand Rephaiah son of Hur, head of the half of the district of Jerusalem, has strengthened.
10 Kũhakana na hau, Jedaia mũrũ wa Harumafu agĩcookereria rũthingo rũrĩa rwangʼetheire nyũmba yake, nake Hatushu mũrũ wa Hashabineia agĩcookereria rũthingo rũrĩa rwariganĩtie nake.
And by their hand Jedaiah son of Harumaph has strengthened, and opposite his own house; and by his hand Hattush son of Hashabniah has strengthened.
11 Malikija mũrũ wa Harimu, na Hashubu mũrũ wa Pahathu-Moabi nao nĩmacookereirie gĩcunjĩ kĩngĩ, hamwe na Mũthiringo ũrĩa mũraihu na igũrũ wa Mariiko ma Mwaki.
A second measure Malchijah son of Harim has strengthened, and Hashub son of Pahath-Moab, even the Tower of the Furnaces.
12 Gĩcunjĩ kĩrĩa kĩarũmĩrĩire gĩacookereirio nĩ Shalumu mũrũ wa Haloheshu, mwathi wa nuthu ya gĩcigo kĩa Jerusalemu, ateithĩrĩirio nĩ airĩtu ake.
And by his hand Shallum son of Halohesh, head of the half of the district of Jerusalem, has strengthened, he and his daughters.
13 Kĩhingo gĩa Kĩanda gĩacookereirio nĩ Hanuni hamwe na andũ arĩa maatũũraga Zanoa. Magĩgĩaka rĩngĩ na magĩĩkĩra mĩrango, na igera cia kũmĩhinga na icuuma ciakĩo, ningĩ magĩcookereria rũthingo ũraihu wa mĩkono 1,000 o nginya Kĩhingo gĩa Kĩara-inĩ.
Hanun has strengthened the Valley Gate, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they have built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and one thousand cubits in the wall to the Refuse Gate.
14 Kĩhingo gĩa Kĩara-inĩ gĩacookereirio nĩ Malikija mũrũ wa Rekabu, mwathi wa gĩcigo kĩa Bethi-Hakeremu. Agĩgĩaka rĩngĩ na agĩĩkĩra mĩrango, na igera cia kũmĩhinga na icuuma ciakĩo.
And Malchijah son of Rechab, head of the district of Beth-Haccerem, has strengthened the Refuse Gate; he builds it, and sets up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
15 Kĩhingo gĩa Gĩthima gĩacookereirio nĩ Shalumu mũrũ wa Koli-Hoze, mwathi wa gĩcigo kĩa Mizipa. Agĩgĩaka rĩngĩ, agĩkĩgita, na agĩĩkĩra mĩrango na igera cia kũmĩhinga na icuuma ciakĩo. Ningĩ nĩacookereirie rũthingo rwa Karia ga Siloamu kũrigania na Mũgũnda wa Mũthamaki, o nginya ngathĩ-inĩ ya gũikũrũka kuuma Itũũra Inene rĩa Daudi.
And Shallum son of Col-Hozeh, head of the district of Mizpah, has strengthened the Fountain Gate: he builds it, and covers it, and sets up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Siloah, to the garden of the king, and to the steps that are going down from the City of David.
16 Kuuma harĩ we, Nehemia mũrũ wa Azibuku, mwathi wa nuthu ya gĩcigo kĩmwe kĩa Bethi-Zuru, agĩcookereria rũthingo nginya kũngʼethera mbĩrĩra cia Daudi, o nginya karia-inĩ ga kwĩyenjera, na o nginya Nyũmba ya Njamba cia Ita.
After him Nehemiah son of Azbuk, head of the half of the district of Beth-Zur, has strengthened to opposite the graves of David, and to the pool that is made, and to the house of the mighty ones.
17 Kũrigania nake, wĩra wa gũcookereria rũthingo warutirwo nĩ Alawii arĩa maarũgamĩrĩirwo nĩ Rehumu mũrũ wa Bani. Kũrigania nake, Hashabia, mwathi wa nuthu ya gĩcigo gĩa Keila, agĩcookereria rũthingo handũ-inĩ ha andũ a gĩcigo gĩake.
After him the Levites have strengthened, [and] Rehum son of Bani; by his hand Hashabiah, head of the half of the district of Keilah, has strengthened for his district.
18 Kũrigania nake, andũ ao a bũrũri nĩo maacookereirie rũthingo matongoretio nĩ Binui mũrũ wa Henadadi, mwathi wa nuthu ĩyo ĩngĩ ya Keila.
After him their brothers have strengthened, [and] Bavvai son of Henadad, head of the half of the district of Keilah.
19 Kũrigania nake, Ezeri mũrũ wa Jeshua, mwathi wa Mizipa, nĩacookereirie gĩcunjĩ kĩngĩ kuuma harĩa haangʼetheire mwambato nginya harĩa haigagwo indo cia mbaara, o nginyagia koine-inĩ.
And Ezer son of Jeshua, head of Mizpah, strengthens, by his hand, a second measure, from in front of the ascent of the armory at the angle.
