< Mathayo 21 >

1 Na rĩrĩa maakuhĩrĩirie Jerusalemu, maakinya itũũra rĩa Bethifage kũu Kĩrĩma-inĩ kĩa Mĩtamaiyũ-rĩ, Jesũ agĩtũma arutwo ake eerĩ,
When they drewe neye vnto Ierusalem and were come to Betphage vnto mounte olivete: then sent Iesus two of his disciples
2 akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Thiĩi itũũra rĩrĩa rĩrĩ mbere yanyu, na mwaingĩra o ũguo nĩmũgũkora ndigiri yohetwo, ĩrĩ na njaũ yayo. Ciohorei mũndehere.
saiynge to the. Go in to the toune that lyeth over agaynste you and anone ye shall fynde an asse bounde and her colte with her: lose them and bringe them vnto me.
3 Na mũndũ o na ũrĩkũ angĩmũũria ũndũ-rĩ, mwĩrei atĩ Mwathani nĩabatarĩtio nĩcio, na nĩegũcicookia o narua.”
And if eny man saye ought vnto you saye ye yt the lorde hath neade of them: and streyght waye he will let them go.
4 Ũndũ ũyũ wekĩkire nĩgeetha ũrathi ũrĩa waarĩtio na kanua ka mũnabii ũhinge, rĩrĩa oigire atĩrĩ:
All this was done to fulfyll that which was spoken by the Prophet sayinge:
5 “Ĩrai Mwarĩ wa Zayuni atĩrĩ, ‘Mũthamaki waku nĩarooka kũrĩwe, nĩ mũhooreri na akuuĩtwo nĩ ndigiri, o njaũ ya ndigiri.’”
Tell ye the doughter of Sion: beholde thy kynge cometh vnto the meke and sittinge vpon an asse and a colte the fole of an asse vsed to the yooke.
6 Nao arutwo magĩthiĩ magĩĩka o ũrĩa Jesũ aamerĩte.
The disciples went and dyd as Iesus comaunded them
7 Makĩrehe ndigiri na njaũ yayo, na makĩara nguo ciao igũrũ rĩayo, nake Jesũ agĩkuuo nĩyo.
and brought ye asse and the colte and put on them their clothes and set him theron.
8 Na andũ gĩkundi kĩnene mũno makĩara nguo ciao njĩra-inĩ, nao arĩa angĩ magĩtua mathĩgĩ ma mĩtĩ makĩmaara njĩra-inĩ.
And many of the people spreed their garmentes in ye waye. Other cut doune braunches fro the trees and strawed them in the waye.
9 Nacio ikundi cia andũ arĩa maamũtongoretie na arĩa maamũrũmĩrĩire maanagĩrĩra makoiga atĩrĩ, “Hosana, Mũrũ wa Daudi!” “Kũrathimwo-rĩ, nĩ mũndũ ũrĩa ũgũũka na rĩĩtwa rĩa Mwathani!” “Hosana igũrũ, o igũrũ mũno!”
Moreover the people that went before and they also that came after cryed sayinge: Hosanna to ye sonne of David. Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lorde Hosanna in the hyest.
10 Rĩrĩa Jesũ aatoonyire Jerusalemu, andũ a itũũra rĩu inene rĩothe makĩambũrũrũka, makĩũrania atĩrĩ, “Ũyũ nake nũũ?”
And when he was come in to Ierusalem all the cyte was moved sayinge: who is this?
11 Nakĩo kĩrĩndĩ kĩu gĩgĩcookia atĩrĩ, “Ũyũ nĩwe Jesũ ũrĩa mũnabii wa kuuma Nazarethi itũũra rĩa Galili.”
And the people sayde: this is Iesus the Prophet of Nazareth a cyte of Galile.
12 Nake Jesũ agĩtoonya kũu hekarũ-inĩ akĩrutũrũra andũ othe arĩa maagũraga na meendagia indo kuo, akĩngʼaũrania metha cia arĩa maakũũranagia mbeeca, na akĩngʼaũrania itĩ cia arĩa meendagia ndutura.
And Iesus went in to the temple of God and cast out all them that soulde and bought in the temple and overthrew the tables of the mony chaugers and the seates of them that solde doves
13 Akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Nĩ kwandĩkĩtwo atĩrĩ, ‘Nyũmba yakwa ĩgeetagwo nyũmba ya kũhooyagĩrwo,’ no inyuĩ mũmĩtuĩte ‘ngurunga ya atunyani.’”
and sayde to them: It is wrytten my housse shalbe called the housse of prayer. But ye have made it a denne of theves.
14 Nao atumumu na cionje magĩthiĩ kũrĩ we kũu hekarũ-inĩ, nake akĩmahonia.
And the blinde and the halt came to him in ye teple and he healed the.
15 No rĩrĩa athĩnjĩri-Ngai arĩa anene na arutani a watho moonire maũndũ ma magegania marĩa eekaga, na maigua ũrĩa ciana cianagĩrĩra kũu hekarũ-inĩ ikiugaga atĩrĩ, “Hosana Mũrũ wa Daudi,” makĩrakara.
When the chefe prestes and scribes sawe the marveylles that he dyd and the chyldren cryinge in the teple and sayinge Hosanna to the sonne of David they disdayned
16 Makĩmũũria atĩrĩ, “Nĩũraigua ũrĩa ciana ici iroiga?” Nake Jesũ akĩmacookeria atĩrĩ, “Ĩĩ, nĩndĩraigua. Kaĩ inyuĩ mũtathomete ciugo iria ciugĩte atĩrĩ, “‘Kuuma tũnua-inĩ twa twana na twa ngenge nĩũtũmĩte hoime ũgooci’?”
and sayde vnto him: hearest thou what these saye? Iesus sayde vnto them yee: have ye never redde of the mouth of babes and suckelinges thou haste ordeyned prayse?
17 Agĩcooka akĩmatiga, akiuma itũũra rĩu inene, agĩthiĩ Bethania, akĩraara kuo.
And he lefte the and wet out of ye cite vnto Bethanie and had his abydige there.
18 Na rũciinĩ tene, arĩ njĩra agĩcooka kũu itũũra inene, akĩigua arĩ mũhũũtu.
In the mornynge as he returned in to the cyte ageyne he hungred
19 Nake akĩona mũkũyũ mũkĩra wa njĩra, agĩthiĩ harĩ guo, no ndaigana kuona kĩndũ thĩinĩ waguo tiga o mathangũ. Nake akĩwĩra atĩrĩ, “Ũroaga gũgaaciara maciaro rĩngĩ!” O hĩndĩ ĩyo mũtĩ ũcio ũkĩhoha. (aiōn g165)
and spyed a fygge trre in the waye and came to it and founde nothinge theron but leves only and sayd to it never frute growe on the hence forwardes. And ano the fygge tree wyddered awaye. (aiōn g165)
20 Rĩrĩa arutwo ake moonire ũguo makĩgega, makĩũrania atĩrĩ, “Kaĩ mũkũyũ ũyũ wahooha narua atĩa?”
And when his disciples sawe that they marveled sayinge: Howe sone is the fygge tree wyddered awaye?
21 Nake Jesũ akĩmacookeria atĩrĩ, “Ngũmwĩra atĩrĩ na ma, mũngĩkorwo na wĩtĩkio na mũtigathanganie-rĩ, to ũguo mũkũyũ ũyũ wĩkĩtwo mũngĩhota gwĩka, no rĩrĩ, o na no mũhote kwĩra kĩrĩma gĩkĩ atĩrĩ, ‘Ũrokũũrũka ũikio iria-inĩ,’ na gwĩkĩke ũguo.
Iesus answered and sayde vnto the: Verely I saye vnto you yf ye shall have faith and shall not dout ye shall not only do that which I have done to the fygge tree: but also yf ye shall saye vnto this moutayne take thy silfe awaye and cast thy silfe into the see it shalbe done.
22 Maũndũ mothe marĩa mũrĩhooyaga mwĩtĩkĩtie nĩmũkaheo.”
And whatsoever ye shall axe in prayer (if ye beleve) ye shall receave it.
23 Na rĩrĩa Jesũ aatoonyire hekarũ-inĩ-rĩ, athĩnjĩri-Ngai arĩa anene na athuuri a andũ makĩmũkora akĩrutana, makĩmũũria atĩrĩ, “Ũreka maũndũ maya na ũhoti ũrĩkũ? Na nũũ ũkũheete ũhoti ũcio?”
And when he was come into the teple the chefe prestes and the elders of the people came vnto him as he was teachinge and sayde: by what auctorite doest thou these thinges? and who gave the this power?
24 Nake Jesũ akĩmacookeria atĩrĩ, “O na niĩ nĩngũmũũria kĩũria. Mwanjookeria-rĩ, nĩngũmwĩra njĩkaga maũndũ maya na ũhoti ũrĩkũ.
Iesus answered and sayde vnto them: I also will axe of you a certayne question which if ye assoyle me I in lyke wyse wyll tell you by what auctorite I do these thinges.
25 Ũbatithio wa Johana-rĩ, woimĩte kũ? Woimĩte igũrũ-ĩ, kana woimĩte kũrĩ andũ?” Makĩaranĩria o ene ũhoro ũcio, makĩĩrana atĩrĩ, “Tũngiuga atĩ, ‘Woimĩte igũrũ’, egũtũũria atĩrĩ, ‘Mwakĩregire kũmwĩtĩkia nĩkĩ?’
The baptime of Iohn: whence was it? fro heve or of men? Then they reasoned amoge them selves sayinge: yf we shall saye fro heven he will saye vnto vs: why dyd ye not then beleve hym?
26 No tũngiuga atĩ, ‘Woimĩte kũrĩ andũ’, nĩtũgwĩtigĩra andũ, nĩgũkorwo othe nĩmeetĩkĩtie atĩ Johana aarĩ mũnabii.”
But and if we shall saye of men then feare we the people. For all men helde Iohn as a Prophet.
27 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio magĩcookeria Jesũ atĩrĩ, “Ithuĩ tũtiũĩ.” Nake Jesũ akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “O na niĩ ndikũmwĩra njĩkaga maũndũ maya na ũhoti ũrĩkũ.
And they answered Iesus and sayde: we cannot tell. And he lyke wyse sayd vnto them: nether tell I you by what auctorite I do these thinges.
28 “Na rĩrĩ, mũgwĩciiria atĩa? Nĩ kwarĩ na mũndũ warĩ na ariũ eerĩ. Agĩthiĩ harĩ ũrĩa wa mbere, akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, ‘Mũriũ, thiĩ ũkarute wĩra ũmũthĩ mũgũnda-inĩ wa mĩthabibũ.’
What saye ye to this? A certayne man had two sonnes and came to ye elder and sayde: sonne go and worke to daye in my vineyarde.
29 “Nake agĩcookia, akiuga, ‘Ndigũthiĩ,’ no thuutha akĩĩricũkwo, agĩthiĩ.
He answered and sayde I will not: but afterwarde repented and went.
30 “Ningĩ mũthuuri ũcio agĩthiĩ kũrĩ mũriũ ũcio ũngĩ akĩmwĩra o ũguo. Nake agĩcookia akiuga, ‘Ĩĩ baba, nĩngũthiĩ,’ no ndaathiire.
Then came he to the second and sayde lyke wyse. And he answered and sayde: I will syr: yet wet not.
Whether of the twayne dyd the will of the father? And they sayde vnto hym: the fyrst. Iesus sayde vnto the: verely I saye vnto you that the publicans and the harlotes shall come into ye kyngdome of God before you.
32 Nĩgũkorwo Johana ookire kũrĩ inyuĩ amwonie njĩra ya ũthingu, no mũtiamwĩtĩkirie, no etia mbeeca cia igooti na maraya nĩmamwĩtĩkirie. Na inyuĩ o na muona ũguo, mũtiigana kwĩrira mũmwĩtĩkie.
For Iohn came vnto you in the waye of rightewesnes and ye beleved hym not. But the publicans and the harlotes beleved him. And yet ye (though ye sawe it) were not yet moved with repentaunce that ye myght afterwarde have beleved hym.
Herken another similitude. Ther was a certayne housholder which planted a vineyarde and hedged it roude about and made a wynpresse in it and bilt a tower and let it out to husbandmen and wet in to a straunge coutre.
34 Hĩndĩ ya kũgetha yakuhĩrĩria-rĩ, agĩtũma ndungata ciake kũrĩ akombori acio nĩguo ikanengerwo maciaro make.
And when the tyme of the frute drewe neare he sent his servauntes to the husbandmen to receave the frutes of it.
35 “Akombori acio makĩnyiita ndungata ciake; makĩhũũra ĩmwe, na makĩũraga ĩrĩa ĩngĩ, na ya gatatũ makĩmĩhũũra na mahiga nyuguto.
And ye husbandme caught his servauntes and bet one kylled another and stoned another.
36 Agĩcooka akĩmatũmĩra ndungata ingĩ nyingĩ kũrĩ iria aatũmĩte mbere, nao akombori acio magĩciĩka o ro ũguo.
Agayne he sent other servantes moo then the fyrst: and they served them lyke wyse.
37 Mũthia-inĩ akĩmatũmĩra mũrũwe, akiuga atĩrĩ, ‘Nĩmagatĩĩa mũrũ wakwa.’
But last of all he sent vnto the his awne sonne sayinge: they will feare my sonne.
38 “No rĩrĩa akombori acio moonire mũriũ, makĩĩrana atĩrĩ, ‘Ũyũ nĩwe ũkaagaya mũgũnda ũyũ. Ũkai tũmũũrage, twĩyoere igai rĩake.’
But when the husbandmen sawe the sonne they sayde amoge the selves: This is the heyre: come let vs kyll him and let vs take his inheritaunce to oure selves.
39 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio makĩmũnyiita, makĩmũikia nja ya mũgũnda ũcio wa mĩthabibũ, na makĩmũũraga.
And they caught him and thrust him out of the vineyarde and slewe him.
40 “Nĩ ũndũ ũcio, rĩrĩa mwene mũgũnda ũcio wa mĩthabibũ agooka-rĩ, ageeka akombori acio atĩa?”
When the lorde of the vyneyarde commeth what will he do wt those husbandme?
41 Nao magĩcookia atĩrĩ, “Nĩakaniina andũ acio aaganu, na acooke akomborithie andũ angĩ mũgũnda ũcio, arĩa marĩmũgayagĩra maciaro hĩndĩ ya magetha yakinya.”
They sayde vnto him: he will cruellye destroye those evyll persons and wyll let out his vyneyarde vnto other husbandmen which shall delyver him the frute at tymes convenient
42 Nake Jesũ akĩmooria atĩrĩ, “Kaĩ mũtathomete thĩinĩ wa Maandĩko atĩ: “‘Ihiga rĩrĩa aaki maaregire nĩrĩo rĩtuĩkĩte ihiga inene rĩa koine; Mwathani nĩ we wĩkĩte ũndũ ũcio, na nĩ wa magegania tũkĩwona’?
Iesus sayde vnto the: dyd ye never redde in the scriptures? The stone which ye bylders refused ye same is set in ye principall parte of ye corner: this was the lordes doinge and yt is mervelous in oure eyes.
43 “Nĩ ũndũ ũcio ngũmwĩra atĩrĩ, ũthamaki wa Ngai nĩũkeeherio kũrĩ inyuĩ, ũheo andũ angĩ arĩa magaaciaraga maciaro maguo.
Therfore saye I vnto you the kyngdome of God shalbe take from you and shalbe geve to the getyls which shall brynge forth the frutes of it.
44 Mũndũ ũrĩa ũkaagwĩra ihiga rĩrĩ nĩagathuthĩka, no ũrĩa ũkaagwĩrwo nĩrĩo nĩrĩkamũthethera.”
And whosoever shall fall on this stone he shalbe broken but on whosoever it shall fall vpon it will grynde him to powder.
45 Rĩrĩa athĩnjĩri-Ngai arĩa anene na Afarisai maaiguire ngerekano icio cia Jesũ, makĩmenya atĩ aaragia ũhoro wao.
And when the chefe prestes and Pharises hearde these similitudes they perceaved yt he spake of the.
46 Magĩcaria ũrĩa mangĩmũnyiita, no nĩmetigagĩra kĩrĩndĩ kĩu, tondũ andũ nĩmeetĩkĩtie atĩ aarĩ mũnabii.
And they wet about to laye hondes on him but they feared ye people because they tooke him as a Prophet.
