1 Jesũ na arutwo ake magĩkinya mũrĩmo ũũrĩa ũngĩ wa iria, magĩthiĩ bũrũri wa Agerasi.
And thei camen ouer the see in to the cuntree of Gerasenes.

3 Mũndũ ũcio aatũũraga kũu mbĩrĩra-inĩ, na gũtirĩ mũndũ ũngĩahotire kũmuoha na kĩndũ, o na mũnyororo.
Which man hadde an hous in biriels, and nether with cheynes now myyte ony man bynde hym.
4 Nĩgũkorwo nĩohagwo kaingĩ na mĩnyororo moko na magũrũ, no akamĩtuanga icunjĩ na akoinanga igera iria ciamuohaga magũrũ. Na gũtirĩ mũndũ warĩ na hinya wa kũmũhooreria.
For ofte tymes he was boundun in stockis and chaynes, and he hadde broke the chaynes, and hadde broke the stockis to smale gobetis, and no man myyte make hym tame.
5 Aatũũraga akayaga ũtukũ na mũthenya, kũu mbĩrĩra-inĩ na irĩma-inĩ agĩĩtemangaga na mahiga.
And euermore, nyyt and dai, in birielis and in hillis, he was criynge and betynge hym silf with stoonus.
6 Rĩrĩa oonire Jesũ arĩ o haraaya akĩhanyũka, akĩĩgũithia thĩ mbere yake.
And he siy Jhesus afer, and ran, and worschipide hym.
7 Akĩanĩrĩra na mũgambo mũnene, akiuga atĩrĩ, “Ũrenda atĩa na niĩ, wee Jesũ, Mũrũ wa Ngai-Ũrĩa-Ũrĩ-Igũrũ-Mũno? Ndagũthaitha na Ngai ndũkaanyariire!”
And he criede with greet voice, and seide, What to me and to thee, thou Jhesu, the sone of the hiyest God? Y coniure thee bi God, that thou turmente me not.
8 Nĩgũkorwo Jesũ aamwĩrĩte atĩrĩ, “Wee ngoma ĩno thũku uma thĩinĩ wa mũndũ ũyũ!”
And Jhesus seide to hym, Thou vnclene spirit, go out fro the man.
9 Jesũ agĩcooka akĩmũũria atĩrĩ, “Wĩtagwo atĩa?” Nake akĩmũcookeria atĩrĩ, “Njĩtagwo Legioni, nĩgũkorwo tũrĩ aingĩ.”
And Jhesus axide hym, What is thi name? And he seith to hym, A legioun is my name; for we ben many.
10 Nake agĩkĩrĩrĩria gũthaitha Jesũ mũno ndagacingate ciume bũrũri ũcio.
And he preiede Jhesu myche, that he schulde not putte hym out of the cuntrei.

15 Na rĩrĩa mookire harĩ Jesũ, makĩona mũndũ ũrĩa warĩ na Legioni ya ndaimono aikarĩte thĩ hau, ehumbĩte nguo na arĩ na meciiria mega; nao magĩĩtigĩra.
And thei camen to Jhesu, and sayn hym that hadde be trauelid of the feend, syttynge clothid, and of hool mynde; and thei dredden.
16 Andũ arĩa moonete ũndũ ũcio ũgĩĩkwo makĩĩra andũ acio angĩ maũndũ marĩa mekĩkire kũrĩ mũndũ ũcio waiyũrĩtwo nĩ ndaimono, o na makĩmahe ũhoro wa ngũrwe.
And thei that saien, hou it was don to hym that hadde a feend, and of the swyne, telden to hem.
17 Nao andũ acio makĩambĩrĩria gũthaitha Jesũ oime bũrũri ũcio wao.
And thei bigunnen to preie hym, that he schulde go a wei fro her coostis.
18 Rĩrĩa Jesũ aatoonyaga gatarũ, mũndũ ũcio warutĩtwo ndaimono agĩthaitha Jesũ etĩkĩre mathiĩ nake.
And whanne he yede up in to a boot, he that was trauelid of the deuel, bigan to preie hym, that he schulde be with hym.
19 No Jesũ akĩmũgiria, akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Inũka mũciĩ kũrĩ andũ anyu, ũmeere ũrĩa wothe Mwathani agwĩkĩire, o na ũrĩa akũiguĩrĩire tha.”
But Jhesus resseyuede hym not, but seide to hym, Go thou in to thin hous to thine, and telle to hem, hou grete thingis the Lord hath don to thee, and hadde merci of thee.
20 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio, mũndũ ũcio agĩthiĩ akĩambĩrĩria kũheana ũhoro kũu Dekapoli wa maũndũ marĩa mothe Jesũ aamwĩkĩire. Nao andũ othe makĩgega.
And he wente forth, and bigan to preche in Decapoli, hou grete thingis Jhesus hadde don to hym; and alle men wondriden.
21 Nake Jesũ aarĩkia kũringa rĩngĩ na gatarũ na aakinya mũrĩmo ũrĩa ũngĩ wa iria, kĩrĩndĩ kĩingĩ gĩkĩũngana harĩ we o hau aarĩ hũgũrũrũ-inĩ cia iria.
And whanne Jhesus hadde gon vp in to the boot eftsoone ouer the see, myche puple cam togidere to him, and was aboute the see.
22 Na hĩndĩ o ĩyo mũnene ũmwe wa thunagogi wetagwo Jairũ agĩũka hau. Oona Jesũ, akĩĩgũithia thĩ magũrũ-inĩ make
And oon of the princis of synagogis, bi name Jayrus, cam, and siy hym, and felde doun at hise feet,
23 akĩmũthaitha mũno, akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Kairĩtu gakwa gakirie gũkua. Ndagũthaitha ũũke, ũgakaigĩrĩre moko nĩgeetha kahone, gatũũre muoyo.”
and preyede hym myche, and seide, My douyter is nyy deed; come thou, putte thin hoond on her, that sche be saaf, and lyue.
24 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Jesũ agĩthiĩ nake. Nakĩo kĩrĩndĩ kĩnene gĩkĩmũrũmĩrĩra, na gĩkamũhatĩkaga na mĩena yothe.
And he wente forth with hym, and myche puple suede hym, and thruste hym.
25 Na rĩrĩ, hau nĩ haarĩ na mũtumia watũire oiraga thakame mĩaka ikũmi na ĩĩrĩ.
And a womman hadde ben in the blodi fluxe twelue yeer,
26 Nĩathĩĩnĩkĩte mũno agĩthondekwo nĩ mandagĩtarĩ aingĩ, na akahũthĩra kĩrĩa gĩothe aakoretwo nakĩo, no handũ ha kũhona aakĩragĩrĩria o kwĩhĩrwo.
and hadde resseyued many thingis of ful many lechis, and hadde spendid al hir good, and was nothing amendid, but was rather the wors, whanne sche hadde herd of Jhesu,
27 Rĩrĩa aiguire ũhoro wa Jesũ, agĩũka na thuutha wake gatagatĩ-inĩ ga kĩrĩndĩ, akĩhutia nguo yake,
sche cam among the puple bihynde, and touchide his cloth.
28 tondũ eeciiririe atĩrĩ, “Ingĩhutia nguo ciake, no hone.”
For sche seide, That if Y touche yhe his cloth, Y schal be saaf.
29 O rĩmwe agĩtiga kuura, na akĩigua nĩehererio thĩĩna mwĩrĩ-inĩ wake.
And anoon the welle of hir blood was dried vp, and sche felide in bodi that sche was heelid of the siknesse.
30 Nake Jesũ o rĩmwe akĩigua atĩ hinya nĩwoima harĩ we. Akĩĩhũgũrĩra kĩrĩndĩ kĩu akĩũria atĩrĩ, “Nũũ ũcio wahutia nguo ciakwa?”
And anoon Jhesus knewe in hym silf the vertu that was goon out of hym, and turnede to the puple, and seide, Who touchide my clothis?
31 Nao arutwo ake makĩmũcookeria atĩrĩ, “Woria ‘Nũũ wahutia?’ ũkĩonaga ũrĩa andũ aya marakũhatĩka?”
And hise disciplis seiden to hym, Thou seest the puple thristynge thee, and seist, Who touchide me?
32 No Jesũ akĩroranga one nũũ wamũhutĩtie.
And Jhesus lokide aboute to se hir that hadde don this thing.
33 Nake mũtumia ũcio, aamenya ũrĩa eekĩtwo, agĩũka, akĩĩgũithia magũrũ-inĩ make akĩinainaga nĩ guoya, akĩmũhe ũhoro wothe ũrĩa watariĩ.
And the womman dredde, and quakide, witynge that it was doon in hir, and cam, and felde doun bifor hym, and seide to hym al the treuthe.
34 Nake Jesũ akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Mwarĩ ũyũ, wĩtĩkio waku nĩguo watũma ũhone; thiĩ na thayũ na ũhone mũrimũ waku.”
And Jhesus seide to hyr, Douytir, thi feith hath maad thee saaf; go in pees, and he thou hool of thi sijknesse.
35 O hĩndĩ ĩyo Jesũ akĩaragia-rĩ, hagĩũka andũ moimĩte kwa Jairũ ũrĩa warĩ mũnene wa thunagogi, makĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Mwarĩguo nĩakua. Ũgũgĩthĩĩnia mũrutani rĩngĩ nĩkĩ?”
Yit while he spak, messangeris camen to the prince of the synagoge, and seien, Thi douytir is deed; what traueilist thou the maistir ferther?
36 Nake Jesũ akĩaga gũthikĩrĩria ũguo moigaga, akĩĩra mũnene ũcio wa thunagogi atĩrĩ, “Wee ĩtĩkia na ndũgetigĩre.”
But whanne the word was herd that was seid, Jhesus seide to the prince of the synagoge, Nyle thou drede, oonli bileue thou.
37 Jesũ ndetĩkĩririe mũndũ o na ũrĩkũ amũrũmĩrĩre, o tiga Petero na Jakubu na Johana mũrũ wa nyina na Jakubu.
And he took no man to sue hym, but Petir, and James, and Joon, the brother of James.
38 Na maakinya mũciĩ kwa mũnene ũcio wa thunagogi, Jesũ akĩona andũ magagaĩte makĩrĩraga na makiugagĩrĩria.
And thei camen in to the hous of the prince of the synagoge. And he saie noyse, and men wepynge and weilynge myche.
39 Agĩtoonya thĩinĩ akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Kĩagago gĩkĩ gĩothe na kĩrĩro nĩ cia kĩ? Mwana ti mũkuũ, no nĩ gũkoma akomete.”
And he yede ynne, and seide to hem, What ben ye troublid, and wepen? The damesel is not deed, but slepith.
40 Nao makĩmũthekerera. Na thuutha wa kũmoimia nja othe, akĩoya ithe na nyina wa mwana na arutwo arĩa aarĩ nao magĩtoonya harĩa mwana ũcio aarĩ.
And thei scorneden hym. But whanne alle weren put out, he takith the fadir and the modir of the damesel, and hem that weren with hym, and thei entren, where the damysel laye.
41 Akĩnyiita mwana guoko, akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Talitha kumi!” (naguo wataũrwo nĩ ta kuuga, “Kairĩtu gaka, ndakwĩra atĩrĩ, ũkĩra!”)
And he helde the hoond of the damesel, and seide to hir, Tabita, cumy, that is to seie, Damysel, Y seie to thee, arise.
42 O rĩmwe kairĩtu kau gagĩũkĩra, gakĩambĩrĩria gũthiĩ (nako kaarĩ na ũkũrũ wa mĩaka ikũmi na ĩĩrĩ). Nao mona ũguo makĩgega mũno.
And anoon the damysel roos, and walkide; and sche was of twelue yeer. And thei weren abaischid with a greet stonying. And he comaundide to hem greetli, that no man schulde wite it.
43 Nake akĩmakaania mũno matikareke mũndũ o na ũrĩkũ amenye ũhoro ũcio, na akĩmeera makahe kĩndũ gĩa kũrĩa.
And he comaundide to yyue hir mete.
