1 Jesũ na arutwo ake magĩkinya mũrĩmo ũũrĩa ũngĩ wa iria, magĩthiĩ bũrũri wa Agerasi.
And they came to the other side of the sea to the region of the (Gerasenes. *N(K)O*)
2 Na Jesũ aarĩkia kuuma gatarũ-inĩ, agĩtũngwo nĩ mũndũ warĩ na ngoma thũku oimĩte mbĩrĩra-inĩ.
And (when was exiting He *N(k)O*) out of the boat immediately (met with *N(k)O*) Him out of the tombs a man with a spirit unclean
3 Mũndũ ũcio aatũũraga kũu mbĩrĩra-inĩ, na gũtirĩ mũndũ ũngĩahotire kũmuoha na kĩndũ, o na mũnyororo.
who the dwelling had in the (tombs. *N(k)O*) And (not even *N(k)O*) (with a chain *N(K)O*) (no longer no longer *NO*) no [one] was able him to bind
4 Nĩgũkorwo nĩohagwo kaingĩ na mĩnyororo moko na magũrũ, no akamĩtuanga icunjĩ na akoinanga igera iria ciamuohaga magũrũ. Na gũtirĩ mũndũ warĩ na hinya wa kũmũhooreria.
because that he often with shackles and with chains to have been bound and to have been torn apart by him the chains and the shackles to have been shattered, and no [one] was able him to subdue.
5 Aatũũraga akayaga ũtukũ na mũthenya, kũu mbĩrĩra-inĩ na irĩma-inĩ agĩĩtemangaga na mahiga.
And (through *N(K)O*) (all [times] *N(k)O*) night and day in the tombs and in the mountains he was crying out and cutting himself with stones.
6 Rĩrĩa oonire Jesũ arĩ o haraaya akĩhanyũka, akĩĩgũithia thĩ mbere yake.
(And *no*) having seen (now *k*) Jesus from afar he ran and he fell on his knees (before Him *NK(o)*)
7 Akĩanĩrĩra na mũgambo mũnene, akiuga atĩrĩ, “Ũrenda atĩa na niĩ, wee Jesũ, Mũrũ wa Ngai-Ũrĩa-Ũrĩ-Igũrũ-Mũno? Ndagũthaitha na Ngai ndũkaanyariire!”
And having cried in a voice loud (he spoke; *N(k)O*) What to me myself and to You, Jesus, Son of God the Most High? I adjure You by God, not me may torment.
8 Nĩgũkorwo Jesũ aamwĩrĩte atĩrĩ, “Wee ngoma ĩno thũku uma thĩinĩ wa mũndũ ũyũ!”
He was saying for to him; do come forth you spirit unclean out of the man!
9 Jesũ agĩcooka akĩmũũria atĩrĩ, “Wĩtagwo atĩa?” Nake akĩmũcookeria atĩrĩ, “Njĩtagwo Legioni, nĩgũkorwo tũrĩ aingĩ.”
And He was asking him; What [is] [the] name of you And (he answered *k*) (he says *N(k)O*) (to him; *no*) (Legion *N(k)O*) [is] name to Me because many we are.
10 Nake agĩkĩrĩrĩria gũthaitha Jesũ mũno ndagacingate ciume bũrũri ũcio.
And he was begging Him numerous times that not (them *N(k)O*) He may send out of the country.
11 Na rĩrĩ, haarĩ na rũũru rũnene rwa ngũrwe rwarĩĩaga harũrũka-inĩ cia kĩrĩma kĩarĩ hakuhĩ na hau.
There was now there near (the *N(k)O*) (hill *N(K)O*) a herd of pigs great feeding;
12 Ndaimono icio igĩthaitha Jesũ, ikĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Twĩtĩkĩrie tũthiĩ kũrĩ ngũrwe iria, tũtoonye thĩinĩ wacio.”
And they begged Him (all demons *K*) saying; do send us into the pigs so that into them let us enter.
13 Nake agĩciĩtĩkĩria. Nacio ndaimono icio ikiuma igĩthiĩ igĩtoonya thĩinĩ wa ngũrwe. Rũũru rũu ruothe rwa mũigana wa ngũrwe ngiri igĩrĩ, rũkĩharũrũka kĩhurũrũka-inĩ na ihenya rũgĩtoonya iria-inĩ, rũkĩũrĩra.
And He allowed them (immediately *K*) (Jesus. *k*) And having gone out the spirits unclean entered into the pigs, and rushed the herd down the steep bank into the sea (were now *k*) about two thousand and they were drowned in the sea.
14 Arĩa maarĩithagia ngũrwe icio makĩũra, magĩthiĩ kũheana ũhoro ũcio itũũra-inĩ na mĩgũnda-inĩ, nao andũ magĩũka kuona ũrĩa gwekĩkĩte.
(And *no*) those (now *k*) feeding (them *N(k)O*) (pigs *k*) fled and (proclaimed [it] *N(k)O*) to the city and to the country. And (they went out *N(k)O*) to see what it is that having happened.
15 Na rĩrĩa mookire harĩ Jesũ, makĩona mũndũ ũrĩa warĩ na Legioni ya ndaimono aikarĩte thĩ hau, ehumbĩte nguo na arĩ na meciiria mega; nao magĩĩtigĩra.
And they come to Jesus and see the [man] being demonised sitting (and *k*) clothed and sound minded, the [one] who having had the (legion, *N(k)O*) and they were afraid.
16 Andũ arĩa moonete ũndũ ũcio ũgĩĩkwo makĩĩra andũ acio angĩ maũndũ marĩa mekĩkire kũrĩ mũndũ ũcio waiyũrĩtwo nĩ ndaimono, o na makĩmahe ũhoro wa ngũrwe.
And related (now *o*) to them those having seen [it] how it happened to the [one] being demonised and concerning the pigs.
17 Nao andũ acio makĩambĩrĩria gũthaitha Jesũ oime bũrũri ũcio wao.
And they began to implore Him to depart from the region of them.
18 Rĩrĩa Jesũ aatoonyaga gatarũ, mũndũ ũcio warutĩtwo ndaimono agĩthaitha Jesũ etĩkĩre mathiĩ nake.
And (when climbing *N(k)O*) He into the boat was begging Him the [one] having been demonised that with Him he may be.
19 No Jesũ akĩmũgiria, akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Inũka mũciĩ kũrĩ andũ anyu, ũmeere ũrĩa wothe Mwathani agwĩkĩire, o na ũrĩa akũiguĩrĩire tha.”
(And *no*) (now Jesus *k*) not He did permit him, but He says to him; do go to the home of you to your own and (do declare *N(k)O*) to them as much as the Lord for you (has done *N(k)O*) and He had mercy on you.
20 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio, mũndũ ũcio agĩthiĩ akĩambĩrĩria kũheana ũhoro kũu Dekapoli wa maũndũ marĩa mothe Jesũ aamwĩkĩire. Nao andũ othe makĩgega.
And he departed and he began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much did for him Jesus; and all were marveling.
21 Nake Jesũ aarĩkia kũringa rĩngĩ na gatarũ na aakinya mũrĩmo ũrĩa ũngĩ wa iria, kĩrĩndĩ kĩingĩ gĩkĩũngana harĩ we o hau aarĩ hũgũrũrũ-inĩ cia iria.
And when was crossing Jesus in the boat again to the other side was gathered a crowd great to Him, and He was beside the sea.
22 Na hĩndĩ o ĩyo mũnene ũmwe wa thunagogi wetagwo Jairũ agĩũka hau. Oona Jesũ, akĩĩgũithia thĩ magũrũ-inĩ make
And (behold *k*) comes one of the synagogue rulers, named Jairus; and having seen Him he falls at the feet of Him
23 akĩmũthaitha mũno, akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Kairĩtu gakwa gakirie gũkua. Ndagũthaitha ũũke, ũgakaigĩrĩre moko nĩgeetha kahone, gatũũre muoyo.”
and (he begs *N(k)O*) Him much saying that The little daughter of mine at the end is holding, that having come may you lay the hands on her (so that *N(k)O*) she may be cured and (she may live. *N(k)O*)
24 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Jesũ agĩthiĩ nake. Nakĩo kĩrĩndĩ kĩnene gĩkĩmũrũmĩrĩra, na gĩkamũhatĩkaga na mĩena yothe.
And He departed with him, And was following Him a crowd great and were pressing in on Him.
25 Na rĩrĩ, hau nĩ haarĩ na mũtumia watũire oiraga thakame mĩaka ikũmi na ĩĩrĩ.
And a woman (any *k*) being with a flux of blood twelve years
26 Nĩathĩĩnĩkĩte mũno agĩthondekwo nĩ mandagĩtarĩ aingĩ, na akahũthĩra kĩrĩa gĩothe aakoretwo nakĩo, no handũ ha kũhona aakĩragĩrĩria o kwĩhĩrwo.
and much having suffered under many physicians and having spent the of (her *N(k)O*) all and in no way having benefited but rather to the worse having come,
27 Rĩrĩa aiguire ũhoro wa Jesũ, agĩũka na thuutha wake gatagatĩ-inĩ ga kĩrĩndĩ, akĩhutia nguo yake,
having heard (the [things] *o*) concerning Jesus, having come up in the crowd behind [Him] she touched the clothing of Him;
28 tondũ eeciiririe atĩrĩ, “Ingĩhutia nguo ciake, no hone.”
She was saying for that If I shall touch even even the garments of Him I will be healed.
29 O rĩmwe agĩtiga kuura, na akĩigua nĩehererio thĩĩna mwĩrĩ-inĩ wake.
And immediately was dried up the flow of the blood of her and she knew in the body that she has been healed from the affliction.
30 Nake Jesũ o rĩmwe akĩigua atĩ hinya nĩwoima harĩ we. Akĩĩhũgũrĩra kĩrĩndĩ kĩu akĩũria atĩrĩ, “Nũũ ũcio wahutia nguo ciakwa?”
And immediately Jesus having known in Himself the out of Him power having gone forth, having turned in the crowd was saying: Who of Me touched the garments?
31 Nao arutwo ake makĩmũcookeria atĩrĩ, “Woria ‘Nũũ wahutia?’ ũkĩonaga ũrĩa andũ aya marakũhatĩka?”
And were saying to Him the disciples of Him; You see the crowd pressing in on You and You say Who Me touched?
32 No Jesũ akĩroranga one nũũ wamũhutĩtie.
And He was looking around to see the [one who] this having done.
33 Nake mũtumia ũcio, aamenya ũrĩa eekĩtwo, agĩũka, akĩĩgũithia magũrũ-inĩ make akĩinainaga nĩ guoya, akĩmũhe ũhoro wothe ũrĩa watariĩ.
And the woman having been frightened and trembling, know what has been done (upon *k*) to her, came and she fell down before Him and she told Him all the truth.
34 Nake Jesũ akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Mwarĩ ũyũ, wĩtĩkio waku nĩguo watũma ũhone; thiĩ na thayũ na ũhone mũrimũ waku.”
And He said to her; (Daughter, *N(k)O*) the faith of you has healed you. do go in peace and do be healthy from the affliction of you.
35 O hĩndĩ ĩyo Jesũ akĩaragia-rĩ, hagĩũka andũ moimĩte kwa Jairũ ũrĩa warĩ mũnene wa thunagogi, makĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Mwarĩguo nĩakua. Ũgũgĩthĩĩnia mũrutani rĩngĩ nĩkĩ?”
Still when He is speaking they come from the ruler of synagogue’s [house] saying that The daughter of You is dead; why still trouble you the Teacher?
36 Nake Jesũ akĩaga gũthikĩrĩria ũguo moigaga, akĩĩra mũnene ũcio wa thunagogi atĩrĩ, “Wee ĩtĩkia na ndũgetigĩre.”
And Jesus (immediately *K*) (having ignored *N(K)O*) the word spoken He says to the ruler of the synagogue; Not do fear, only do believe.
37 Jesũ ndetĩkĩririe mũndũ o na ũrĩkũ amũrũmĩrĩre, o tiga Petero na Jakubu na Johana mũrũ wa nyina na Jakubu.
And not He allowed no [one] (with *no*) (Him *N(k)O*) to follow only except (*no*) Peter and James and John the brother of James.
38 Na maakinya mũciĩ kwa mũnene ũcio wa thunagogi, Jesũ akĩona andũ magagaĩte makĩrĩraga na makiugagĩrĩria.
And (they come *N(K)O*) to the house of the ruler of the synagogue. and He beholds a commotion (and *no*) weeping and wailing much,
39 Agĩtoonya thĩinĩ akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Kĩagago gĩkĩ gĩothe na kĩrĩro nĩ cia kĩ? Mwana ti mũkuũ, no nĩ gũkoma akomete.”
And having entered He says to them; Why make you commotion and weep? The child not is dead but sleeps.
40 Nao makĩmũthekerera. Na thuutha wa kũmoimia nja othe, akĩoya ithe na nyina wa mwana na arutwo arĩa aarĩ nao magĩtoonya harĩa mwana ũcio aarĩ.
And they were laughing at Him. (He himself *N(k)O*) then having put out (all *N(k)O*) takes with [Him] the father of the child and the mother and those with Him and enters in where was the child (reclining. *K*)
41 Akĩnyiita mwana guoko, akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Talitha kumi!” (naguo wataũrwo nĩ ta kuuga, “Kairĩtu gaka, ndakwĩra atĩrĩ, ũkĩra!”)
And when taking of the hand of the child He says to her; Talitha koum! Which is being translated, O Little girl, to you I say, (do arise. *N(k)O*)
42 O rĩmwe kairĩtu kau gagĩũkĩra, gakĩambĩrĩria gũthiĩ (nako kaarĩ na ũkũrũ wa mĩaka ikũmi na ĩĩrĩ). Nao mona ũguo makĩgega mũno.
And immediately arose the girl and was walking; she was for of years twelve. And they were amazed (immediately *NO*) with amazement great.
43 Nake akĩmakaania mũno matikareke mũndũ o na ũrĩkũ amenye ũhoro ũcio, na akĩmeera makahe kĩndũ gĩa kũrĩa.
And He instructed to them strictly that no one may know this, and He commanded to be given to her to eat.
