< Mariko 13 >
1 Na rĩrĩa Jesũ oimaga hekarũ-inĩ, ũmwe wa arutwo ake akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Mũrutani, ta rora! Mahiga maya kaĩ nĩ manene-ĩ! Kaĩ nyũmba ici nĩ thaka-ĩ!”
And when is going forth He out of the temple says to Him one of the disciples of Him; Teacher, behold what stones and what buildings!
2 Nake Jesũ akĩmũcookeria atĩrĩ, “Nĩũrona nyũmba ici nene ũũ? Gũtirĩ ihiga o na rĩmwe rĩa maya rĩgaakorwo rĩrĩ igũrũ wa rĩrĩa rĩngĩ; mothe nĩmakamomorwo.”
And Jesus (answering *k*) said to him; See you these great buildings? certainly not may be left (here *NO*) stone upon (stone *N(k)O*) which certainly not may be thrown down.
And when is sitting He upon the Mount of Olives opposite the temple (he was asking *N(k)O*) Him in private Peter and James and John and Andrew;
4 “Ta twĩre, maũndũ macio mageekĩka rĩ? Na kĩmenyithia atĩ maũndũ macio marĩ hakuhĩ gwĩkĩka nĩ kĩrĩkũ?”
do tell us: when these things will be And what [will be] the sign when may soon these things to be accomplished all
5 Nake Jesũ akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Mwĩmenyagĩrĩrei mũtikanaheenio nĩ mũndũ o na ũrĩkũ.
And Jesus (answering *k*) began to say to them; do take heed lest anyone you may mislead.
6 Andũ aingĩ nĩ magooka na rĩĩtwa rĩakwa makiugaga atĩrĩ, ‘Niĩ nĩ niĩ Kristũ,’ na nĩmakaheenia andũ aingĩ.
Many (for *ko*) will come in the name of Me saying that I myself am [He], and many they will mislead.
Maũndũ ta macio no nginya mekĩke, no rĩrĩ, ithirĩro ti rĩkinyu.
When then (you may hear of *NK(o)*) wars and rumors of wars, not do be disturbed; it must (for *ko*) come to pass, but not yet [is] the end.
Will rise up for nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom; (and *k*) There will be earthquakes throughout places; (and *ko*) there will be famines (and disturbance; *K*) ([The] beginning *N(K)O*) of birth pains [are] these.
9 “No inyuĩ-rĩ, ikaragai mwĩiguĩte. Nĩmũkaneanwo kũrĩ ciama cia athuuri na mũhũũrwo iboko thĩinĩ wa thunagogi. Nĩmũkarũgama mbere ya aathani na athamaki nĩ ũndũ wakwa, mũtuĩke aira akwa kũrĩ o.
do take heed however to yourselves; they will betray (for *ko*) you to courts and in synagogues you will be beaten and before governors and kings you will stand because of Me for a testimony to them.
10 Naguo Ũhoro-ũrĩa-Mwega no nginya wambe ũhunjio kũrĩ ndũrĩrĩ ciothe.
And to all the nations first it behooves to proclaim the gospel.
11 Rĩrĩa rĩothe mũkaanyiitwo mũtwarwo mũgaciirithio, mũtikanetange mũgĩĩciiria ũrĩa mũkoiga. Inyuĩ mũkoiga o ũrĩa mũkaahotithio hĩndĩ ĩyo, nĩgũkorwo ti inyuĩ mũgaakorwo mũkĩaria, no nĩ Roho mũtheru.
(And *no*) when (now *k*) (they may lead away *N(k)O*) you delivering [you] up, not do be anxious beforehand what you may say (nor do devise; *K*) but whatever if shall be given to you in that [very] hour, that do speak; not for are you yourselves those speaking but the Spirit Holy.
(And *no*) will deliver up (now *k*) brother brother to death and father child, and will rise up children against parents and will put to death them.
13 Andũ othe nĩmakamũmena nĩ ũndũ wakwa, no ũrĩa ũgaakirĩrĩria nginya hĩndĩ ya mũthia nĩakahonoka.
And you will be hated by all on account of the name of Me. the [one] however having endured to [the] end, he will be saved.
14 “Rĩrĩa mũkoona kĩrĩa kĩrĩ thaahu na gĩa kũrehe ihooru kĩarũgama harĩa gĩtagĩrĩirwo nĩ kũrũgama-rĩ, (ũrĩa ũrathoma nĩamenye ũhoro ũcio), hĩndĩ ĩyo arĩa marĩ Judea nĩmoorĩre irĩma-inĩ.
When then you may see the abomination of the desolation (which having been spoken of by Daniel prophet *K*) (already standing *N(k)(o)*) where not it should — the [one] reading he should understand — then those in Judea they should flee to the mountains;
15 Mũndũ ũrĩa wothe ũgaakorwo arĩ nyũmba yake igũrũ ndakanaharũrũke kana atoonye kũruta kĩndũ nyũmba.
the [one] and upon the housetop not he should come down (into house *KO*) nor should go in to take anything out of the house of him;
16 Nake mũndũ ũrĩa ũgaakorwo arĩ mũgũnda ndagacooke mũciĩ kũgĩĩra nguo ciake.
and the [one] in the field (being *k*) not he should return to the [things] back to take the clothing of him.
17 Kaĩ atumia arĩa magaakorwo marĩ na nda na arĩa magaakorwo makĩongithia hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmagakorwo marĩ na haaro-ĩ!
Woe then to those in womb [pregnancy] having and to the [ones] nursing infants in those days!
18 Hooyagai Ngai atĩ maũndũ macio matikanakinye hĩndĩ ya heho,
do pray then that it not may happen (the flight of you *K*) in winter.
19 nĩ ũndũ matukũ macio gũgaakorwo na mĩnyamaro ĩtarĩ yoneka ĩngĩ tayo kuuma kĩambĩrĩria rĩrĩa Ngai ombire thĩ nginya rĩu, na gũtikoneka ĩngĩ tayo.
will be [in] for the days those tribulation such as never has been [the] like from [the] beginning of creation (which *N(k)O*) created God until now — and certainly not may happen.
20 Tiga Mwathani anyihanyiihirie matukũ macio, gũtirĩ mũndũ ũngĩgatigara. No tondũ wa andũ ake arĩa aamũre, matukũ macio nĩmagakuhĩhio.
And only unless shortened [the] Lord the days, not then would there have been saved any flesh; but on account of the elect whom He chose He has shortened the days.
21 Hĩndĩ ĩyo mũndũ o na ũrĩkũ angĩkamwĩra atĩrĩ, ‘Kristũ arĩ haha!’ kana amwĩre atĩrĩ, ‘Kristũ arĩ haarĩa!’ mũtikanetĩkie ũhoro ũcio.
And then if anyone to you shall say; (behold *N(k)O*) here [is] the Christ (or *KO*) (behold *N(k)O*) there! not (you do believe [it]. *N(k)O*)
22 Nĩgũkorwo Kristũ a maheeni na anabii a maheeni nĩmakeyumĩria monanie morirũ na maringe ciama nĩguo mahĩtithie andũ arĩa aamũre, korwo no kũhoteke.
There will arise for false Christs and false prophets and will give signs and wonders so as to deceive if possible (and *ko*) the elect.
23 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio-rĩ, ikaragai mwĩiguĩte tondũ nĩndamwĩra maũndũ mothe mbere ya ihinda rĩtanakinya.
You yourselves however do take heed; (behold *K*) I have foretold to you all things.
24 “No ihinda-inĩ rĩu, thuutha wa maũndũ macio ma mĩnyamaro, “‘riũa nĩrĩkagĩa nduma, naguo mweri ndũkaara;
But in those days after the tribulation those The sun will be darkened, and the moon not will give the light of it,
25 njata nacio nĩikaagũa kuuma igũrũ, namo maahinya ma igũrũ nĩmakenyenyio.’
and the stars will be out of the heaven (falling, *N(k)O*) and the powers that [are] in the heavens will be shaken.’
And then will they behold the Son of Man coming in [the] clouds with power great and glory.
27 Nake nĩagatũma araika ake macookanĩrĩrie andũ ake arĩa aamũre kuuma mĩena ĩna ĩrĩa yumaga rũhuho, o na kuuma ituri ciothe cia thĩ na cia igũrũ.
And then He will send the angels (of him *K*) and will gather together the elect of Him from the four winds from [the] end of earth until [the] end of heaven.
Of now the fig tree do learn the parable: When already the branch of it tender may become, and may it put forth the leaves, you know that near the summer is.
29 Ũguo noguo, rĩrĩa mũkoona maũndũ macio magĩĩkĩka mũkaamenya ihinda rĩrĩ hakuhĩ, rĩrĩ o mũromo-inĩ.
So also you yourselves, when you may see these things coming to pass, do know that near He is at [the] doors.
Amen I say to you that certainly not may have passed away generation this until when these things all may happen.
31 Igũrũ na thĩ nĩigathira, no ciugo ciakwa itigathira.
The heaven and the earth (will pass away, *NK(o)*) but the words of Mine certainly not (will pass away. *N(k)O*)
Concerning now the day that (or *N(k)O*) the hour no [one] knows not even the angels (*k*) in heaven nor the Son only except the Father.
33 Ikaragai mwĩiguĩte! Ikaragai mwĩhũgĩte! Mũtiũĩ rĩrĩa ihinda rĩu rĩgaakinya.
do take heed, do watch (and do pray; *KO*) not you know for when the time is.
34 Gũkahaana ta mũndũ ũgũthiĩ rũgendo ũrĩa atigaga egaĩra ndungata ciake irorage mũciĩ, o ndungata akamĩhe wĩra wayo, na agatiga atha mũikaria wa mũrango o nake aikarage ehũũgĩte.
[It is] like a man going on a journey having left the house of him and having given to the servants of him authority, (and *k*) to each one the work of him, And the doorkeeper he commanded that he may keep watch.
35 “Nĩ ũndũ ũcio, ikaragai mwĩiguĩte tondũ mũtiũĩ rĩrĩa mwene mũciĩ agacooka, kana agooka hwaĩ-inĩ, kana ũtukũ gatagatĩ, kana ngũkũ ĩkĩgamba, o na kana gũgĩthererũka.
do watch therefore; not you know for when the master of the house comes (or *no*) at evening or (at midnight *N(k)O*) or when the rooster crows or morning;
36 O rĩrĩa angĩũka-rĩ, mũtikanareke amũkore mwĩrigĩtwo.
lest having come suddenly he may find you sleeping.
37 Ũguo ngũmwĩra, noguo ngwĩra andũ othe, atĩrĩ, ‘Ikaragai mwĩiguĩte’.”
(What [thing] *N(k)O*) now to you I say, to all I say: do watch.
