< Luka 8 >
1 Na rĩrĩ, thuutha wa ũguo, Jesũ agĩthiĩ matũũra-inĩ o na tũtũũra-inĩ akĩhunjagia Ũhoro-ũrĩa-Mwega wa ũthamaki wa Ngai. Arutwo ake arĩa ikũmi na eerĩ maarĩ hamwe nake,
And it came to pass afterward soon that He himself was traveling throughout city and village preaching and evangelising of the kingdom of God And the Twelve [were] with Him
2 o na atumia amwe a arĩa maarutĩtwo ngoma thũku na arĩa maahonetio mĩrimũ: nao nĩ Mariamu (ũrĩa wetagwo Mũmagidali), nĩwe warutĩtwo ndaimono mũgwanja;
and women certain who were cured from spirits evil and infirmities, Mary who is called Magdalene from whom demons seven had gone out,
and Joanna wife of Chuza a steward of Herod and Susanna and others many who were ministering (to them *N(K)O*) (out of *N(k)O*) the possessions of theirs.
4 Andũ aingĩ nĩmathiire na mbere kũngana harĩ Jesũ moimĩte matũũra-inĩ, na rĩrĩa andũ maingĩhire mũno akĩmahe ũhoro na ngerekano, akĩmeera atĩrĩ,
When were assembling now a crowd great and those from each town are coming to Him He spoke through a parable:
5 Mũrĩmi nĩoimagarire akahure mbeũ ciake. Na rĩrĩa aahuraga mbeũ icio, imwe ikĩgũa mũkĩra-inĩ wa njĩra; ikĩrangĩrĩrio na magũrũ, nacio nyoni cia rĩera-inĩ igĩũka igĩcirĩa.
Went out the [one] sowing to sow the seed of him; And in the sowing of him some indeed fell along the road and it was trampled upon, and the birds of the air devoured it.
However other (fell *N(k)O*) upon the rock, and having sprung up it withered through not having moisture.
7 Nacio mbeũ ingĩ ikĩgũa mĩigua-inĩ, nayo mĩigua ĩgĩkũranĩra nacio na ĩgĩcithararia.
And other fell in [the] midst of the thorns, and having sprung up with [it] the thorns choked choked it.
And other fell (upon *N(k)O*) the soil good, and having sprung up it produced fruit a hundredfold. These things saying He was calling out; The [one] having ears to hear he should hear.
9 Nao arutwo ake makĩmũũria ũrĩa ngerekano ĩyo yoigaga.
Were asking then Him the disciples of Him (saying: *k*) What this would mean the parable
And He said; To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, to the however rest [it is] in parables so that Seeing not shall they see and hearing not shall they understand.’
11 “Ngerekano ĩyo yugĩte atĩrĩ: Mbeũ icio nĩ ũhoro wa Ngai.
Is now this the parable: The seed is the word of God.
12 Mbeũ iria ciagũire mũkĩra-inĩ wa njĩra nĩ andũ arĩa maiguaga ũhoro wa Ngai, nake mũcukani agooka akeheria ũhoro ũcio ngoro-inĩ ciao, nĩguo matigetĩkie mahonoke.
Those now along the road are which [are] (having heard, *N(k)O*) then comes the devil and takes away the word from the heart of them that not having believed they may be saved.
Metĩkagia o gwa kahinda kanini, no magerio moka makaũtiganĩria.
Those now upon the rock, those who when they may hear with joy receive the word; and these a root not have, who for a time believe and in time of testing fall away.
14 Mbeũ iria ciagũire mĩigua-inĩ nĩ andũ arĩa maiguaga ũhoro, no o magĩthiiaga-rĩ, magatharario nĩ mĩhangʼo, na ũtonga, na mĩago, nao makaaga gũkũra.
That now into the thorns having fallen, these are those having heard, and under cares and riches and pleasures of life moving along are choked and not do mature.
That now in the good soil, these are those in a heart worthy and good having heard the word keep [it] and they bring forth fruit by perseverance.
16 “Na rĩrĩ, gũtirĩ mũndũ ũgwatagia tawa akaũkunĩkĩria na irebe, kana akaũiga rungu rwa ũrĩrĩ. No aũigaga handũ igũrũ, nĩguo andũ arĩa megũtoonya nyũmba mathererwo nĩ ũtheri.
No [one] now a lamp having lighted covers it with a vessel or under a bed puts [it], but on a lampstand (puts [it] *N(k)O*) so that those entering in may see the light.
17 Nĩgũkorwo gũtirĩ ũndũ mũhithe ũtakaguũrio, na gũtirĩ ũndũ ũrĩ hitho-inĩ ũtakamenyeka kana ũtakanĩkwo ũtheri-inĩ.
Nothing for is hidden which not manifest will become, nor [is] secret which certainly (not *no*) (may be known *N(k)O*) and to light come.
18 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio mwĩmenyagĩrĩrei ũrĩa mũthikagĩrĩria. Ũrĩa wothe ũrĩ na indo nĩakongererwo nyingĩ; na ũrĩa wothe ũtarĩ nĩagatuunywo o na kĩrĩa arĩ nakĩo.”
do take heed therefore how you hear; who[ever] (maybe *NK(o)*) for shall have, will be given to him, and who[ever] (maybe *NK(o)*) not shall have, even what he seems to have it will be taken away from him.
19 Na rĩrĩ, nyina wa Jesũ na ariũ a nyina na Jesũ magĩũka kũmuona, no matingĩahotire gũthiĩ hakuhĩ nake nĩ ũndũ wa andũ kũingĩha.
(she came *N(k)O*) then to Him the mother and the brothers of Him and not they were able to get to Him because of the crowd.
20 Mũndũ ũmwe akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Maitũguo na ariũ a maitũguo marũgamĩte nja makĩenda gũkuona.”
(and *k*) It was told (also *no*) to Him (saying: *k*) The mother of You and the brothers of You have stood outside to see wanting You.
But answering He said to them; Mother of Mine and brothers of mine those are who the word of God are hearing and doing (it. *k*)
22 Mũthenya ũmwe Jesũ nĩerire arutwo ake atĩrĩ, “Nĩtũringei tũthiĩ mũrĩmo ũrĩa ũngĩ wa iria.” Nĩ ũndũ ũcio magĩtoonya gatarũ magĩthiĩ.
(and *k*) It came to pass (then *no*) on one of the days also He himself climbed into a boat with the disciples of Him and He said to them; Let us pass over to the other side of the lake. And they launched out.
23 Na rĩrĩa maathiiaga Jesũ akĩhĩtwo nĩ toro. Na rĩrĩ, kũu iria-inĩ nĩ kwagĩire na kĩhuhũkanio kĩnene, nako gatarũ kau kaarĩ hakuhĩ kũũrĩra maaĩ-inĩ, na magĩkorwo marĩ ũgwati-inĩ mũnene.
When were sailing then they He fell asleep, And came down a storm of wind on the lake, and they were being swamped and were in danger.
24 Nao arutwo magĩthiĩ makĩmũũkĩria, makĩmwĩra atĩrĩ “Mwathani! Mwathani! Nĩtũkũũrĩra maaĩ-inĩ!” Nake Jesũ agĩũkĩra agĩkaania rũhuho na maaĩ macio maahũũranaga; namo makũmbĩ macio ma maaĩ makĩnyihanyiiha na gũkĩhoorera.
Having come to [Him] then they awoke Him saying; Master Master, we are perishing! And (having arisen up *N(k)O*) He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. and they ceased, and there was a calm.
25 Akĩũria arutwo ake atĩrĩ, “Wĩtĩkio wanyu ũrĩ ha?” Nao makĩiyũrwo nĩ guoya na makĩgega, makĩũrania atĩrĩ, “Kaĩ mũndũ ũyũ arĩ ũ? Aathaga huho o na maaĩ, nacio ikamwathĩkĩra.”
He said then to them; Where (is *k*) the faith of you? Having been afraid then they marveled saying to one another; Who then this is for even to the winds He commands and to the water, and they obey Him?
26 Makĩringa mũrĩmo ũrĩa ũngĩ wa iria, magĩkinya rũgongo rwa Agerasi rũrĩa rũngʼethanĩire na Galili.
And they sailed down to the region of the (Gerasenes *N(K)O*) which is opposite Galilee.
27 Jesũ aarĩkia kuuma gatarũ, aakinya thĩ agĩtũngwo nĩ mũndũ warĩ na ndaimono oimĩte itũũra-inĩ. Mũndũ ũcio nĩaikarĩte ihinda inene ategwĩkĩra nguo kana agatũũra nyũmba, no aatũũraga mbĩrĩra-inĩ.
Having gone forth then to Him upon the land met (with him *ko*) a man certain out of the city (who *ko*) (is having *N(k)O*) demons. and (from *k*) (time a long *N(k)O*) not (was wearing *N(k)O*) clothing and in a house not was abiding but in the tombs.
Having seen then Jesus (and *k*) having cried out he fell down before Him and in a voice loud said; What to me myself and to You, Jesus, Son of God the Most High? I implore of You not me You may torment!
29 Nĩgũkorwo Jesũ nĩathĩte ngoma ĩyo thũku yume thĩinĩ wa mũndũ ũcio. Nĩyamũnyiitaga kaingĩ, na o na gũtuĩka nĩoohagwo moko na magũrũ na mĩnyororo, na akarangĩrwo-rĩ, nĩatuangaga mĩnyororo ĩyo yamuohaga, na ndaimono ĩyo ĩgatũma athiĩ kũndũ gũtarĩ andũ.
He was commanding for to the spirit unclean to come out from the man; Many for times it had seized him, and (he was shackled *N(k)O*) with chains and in fetters being kept, and breaking the chains he was driven (by *NK(o)*) the (demon *N(k)O*) into the deserts.
30 Jesũ akĩmũũria atĩrĩ, “Wĩtagwo atĩa?” Nake akĩmũcookeria atĩrĩ, “Legioni,” nĩgũkorwo aarĩ na ndaimono nyingĩ.
Asked now him Jesus (saying: *ko*) What your name is And he said; (Legion; *N(k)O*) because were entered demons many into him.
31 Nacio ndaimono igĩkĩrĩrĩria gũthaitha Jesũ ndagaciathe ithiĩ Irima-rĩrĩa-Rĩtarĩ-Gĩturi. (Abyssos )
And (they were begging *N(k)O*) Him that not he would command to them into the abyss to go away. (Abyssos )
32 Na rĩrĩ, nĩ haarĩ na rũũru rũnene rwa ngũrwe rwarĩithagio harũrũka-inĩ cia kĩrĩma kĩarĩ hakuhĩ na hau. Ndaimono icio igĩthaitha Jesũ aciĩtĩkĩrie itoonye thĩinĩ wacio, nake agĩciĩtĩkĩria.
There was now there a herd of pigs many (feeding *N(k)O*) in the mountain, and (they begged *N(k)O*) Him that He would allow them into them to enter. and He allowed them.
33 Ndaimono cioima thĩinĩ wa mũndũ ũcio, igĩthiĩ igĩtoonya ngũrwe, naruo rũũru rũu rũkĩharũrũka kĩhurũrũka kĩu na ihenya, rũkĩgũa iria-inĩ, rũkĩũrĩra kuo.
Having gone out then the demons from the man (they entered *N(k)O*) into the pigs, and rushed the herd down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.
34 Rĩrĩa andũ arĩa maarĩithagia ngũrwe icio moonire ũrĩa gwekĩka, makĩũra, magĩthiĩ kũheana ũhoro ũcio itũũra-inĩ na mĩgũnda-inĩ,
Having seen then those feeding [them] what (already happening *N(k)O*) they fled and (having gone *K*) they reported [it] to the city and to the country.
They went out then to see that having happened and they came to Jesus and found sitting the man from whom the demons (had gone out *N(k)O*) clothed and being of sound mind at the feet of Jesus, And they were afraid.
36 Andũ arĩa meyoneire ũndũ ũcio makĩĩra andũ acio angĩ ũrĩa mũndũ ũcio warĩ na ndaimono aahonetio.
Related then to them (and *k*) those having seen [it] how was healed the [one] having been demonised.
37 Nao andũ othe a rũgongo rũu rwa Agerasi magĩthaitha Jesũ oime kũu kwao amatige, nĩgũkorwo nĩmanyiitĩtwo nĩ guoya. Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Jesũ agĩtoonya gatarũ agĩthiĩ.
And (asked *N(k)O*) Him all the multitude of the surrounding region of the (Gerasenes *N(K)O*) to depart from them, because with fear great they were seized. He himself now having climbed into (the *k*) boat turned back.
38 Nake mũndũ ũcio warutĩtwo ndaimono akĩmũthaitha mathiĩ nake, no Jesũ akĩmwatha athiĩ, akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ,
(Was begging *N(k)O*) however Him the man from whom had gone out the demons to be [taken] with Him. He sent away however him (*k*) (Jesus *K*) saying;
39 “Cooka mũciĩ ũkoige ũrĩa wothe Ngai agwĩkĩire.” Nĩ ũndũ ũcio mũndũ ũcio agĩthiĩ akĩĩra andũ othe a itũũra ũrĩa Jesũ aamwĩkĩire.
do return to the house of you and do relate how much for you has done God. And he departed through all the city proclaiming how much did for him Jesus.
40 Na rĩrĩ, Jesũ aacooka kuuma mũrĩmo ũũrĩa ũngĩ wa iria, andũ aingĩ nĩmamwamũkĩrire tondũ nĩmamwetereire.
(it came to pass *K*) When then ([is] returning *N(k)O*) Jesus received Him the crowd; they were for all looking for Him.
41 Hĩndĩ ĩyo mũndũ wetagwo Jairũ warĩ mũnene wa thunagogi agĩũka, akĩĩgũithia magũrũ-inĩ ma Jesũ, akĩmũthaitha athiĩ gwake,
And behold came a man whose name [was] Jairus, and (he *N(k)O*) a ruler of the synagogue was. and having fallen at the feet of Jesus he was begging Him to come to the house of him
because daughter an only was to him about years [old] twelve and she was dying. As then [is] to go He the crowds were pressing around Him.
And a woman being with a flux of blood for years twelve, who (into *k*) (on physicians *N(k)O*) having spent all the living (of her *ko*) neither was able (by *N(k)O*) no [one] to be healed,
having come behind [Him] she touched the fringe the of cloak of Him, and immediately stopped the flux of the blood of her.
45 Nake Jesũ akĩũria atĩrĩ, “Nũũ ũcio wahutia?” Rĩrĩa othe maakaanire, Petero akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Mwathani, andũ nĩmagũthiũrũrũkĩirie na magakũhatĩka.”
And said Jesus; Who [is] the [one] having touched Me? When is denying [it] however everyone said Peter (and those *KO*) (with him: *K(o)*) Master, the people surround You and press in (and say which one having touched me. *KO*)
46 Nowe Jesũ akiuga atĩrĩ, “Nĩ harĩ mũndũ waahutia, tondũ nĩndaigua hinya woima thĩinĩ wakwa.”
But Jesus said; Touched Me someone; I myself for know power (having left *N(k)O*) from Me.
47 Nake mũtumia ũcio, ona atĩ ndangĩhota kwĩhitha, agĩũka akĩinainaga, akĩĩgũithia magũrũ-inĩ make. Arĩ hau mbere ya andũ othe akĩheana gĩtũmi kĩrĩa gĩatũmĩte amũhutie na ũrĩa aahonirio o ro rĩmwe.
Having seen then the woman that not she was hid, trembling she came and having fallen down before Him, for what cause she touched Him she declared (to him *k*) before all the people and how she was healed immediately.
48 Nake Jesũ akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Mwarĩ ũyũ, gwĩtĩkia gwaku nĩkuo gwatũma ũhone. Thiĩ na thayũ.”
And He said to her; (Take courage *K*) (daughter, *N(k)O*) the faith of you has healed you; do go in peace.
49 Na o hĩndĩ ĩyo Jesũ akĩaragia, hagĩkinya mũndũ woimĩte mũciĩ kwa Jairũ ũrĩa mũnene wa thunagogi, akiuga atĩrĩ, “Mwarĩguo nĩarĩkĩtie gũkua, tiga gũthĩĩnia Mũrutani.”
Still when he is speaking comes one from the synagogue ruler saying (to him *ko*) that Has died the daughter of You; (no longer *N(K)O*) do trouble the Teacher.
50 Jesũ aigua ũguo, akĩĩra Jairũ atĩrĩ, “Tiga gwĩtigĩra, wee ĩtĩkia tu, na nĩekũhona.”
But Jesus having heard He answered to him (saying; *k*) Not do fear; only (do believe, *N(k)O*) and she will be saved.
(having entered *N(k)O*) then into the house not He did allow to go in (anyone *N(k)O*) (with Him *NO*) only except Peter and John and James, and the father of the child and the mother.
52 Hĩndĩ ĩyo andũ othe no kũrĩra maarĩraga magĩcakayaga nĩ ũndũ wa mwana ũcio. Jesũ akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Tigai kũrĩra, ti mũkuũ, nĩ gũkoma akomete.”
They were weeping now all and they were mourning for her. But He said; Not do weep; not (for *no*) she is dead but sleeps.
53 Nao makĩmũthekerera, tondũ nĩmooĩ atĩ aarĩ mũkuũ.
And they were laughing at Him, knowing that she was dead.
54 Nowe Jesũ akĩnyiita mwana ũcio guoko, akiuga atĩrĩ, “Mwana wakwa, ũkĩra!”
He himself now (having taken out outside all and *K*) having taken hold of the hand of her called out saying: O Child, (do arise. *N(k)O*)
55 Na hĩndĩ o ĩyo agĩcookererwo nĩ muoyo wake, na o rĩmwe akĩrũgama. Jesũ agĩcooka akĩmeera mahe mwana ũcio kĩndũ gĩa kũrĩa.
And returned the spirit of her, and she arose immediately, and He directed to her to be given to eat.
56 Nao aciari ake makĩgega mũno, nowe akĩmaatha matikeere mũndũ o na ũ ũndũ ũcio wekĩkĩte.
And were amazed the parents of her. and He instructed to them no one to tell what having happened.
