< Luka 15 >
1 Na rĩrĩ, etia mbeeca cia igooti na “ehia” othe nĩmoonganaga harĩ we nĩguo mamũigue.
And pupplicans and synful men weren neiyynge to him, to here hym.
2 No Afarisai na arutani a watho magĩteta makiuga atĩrĩ, “Mũndũ ũyũ nĩamũkagĩra ehia na akarĩĩanĩra nao.”
And the Farisees and scribis grutchiden, seiynge, For this resseyueth synful men, and etith with hem.
3 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Jesũ akĩmahe ngerekano ĩno akĩmeera atĩrĩ:
And he spak to hem this parable,
4 “Mũndũ ũmwe wanyu angĩkorwo na ngʼondu igana rĩmwe, na ĩmwe yacio yũre-rĩ, githĩ ndatigaga icio mĩrongo kenda na kenda kũu werũ-inĩ, athiĩ agacarie ĩyo ĩmwe yũrĩte, nginya amĩone?
and seide, What man of you that hath an hundrith scheep, and if he hath lost oon of hem, whethir he leeueth not nynti and nyne in desert, and goith to it that perischide, til he fynde it?
5 Na aarĩkia kũmĩona, akamĩigĩrĩra ciande ciake akenete,
And whanne he hath foundun it, he ioieth, and leyith it on hise schuldris; and he cometh hoom,
6 akainũka mũciĩ. Agacooka ageeta arata ake na andũ a itũũra hamwe, akameera atĩrĩ, ‘Ũkai tũkenanĩre nĩ ũndũ nĩnyonete ngʼondu yakwa ĩrĩa ĩrorĩte.’
and clepith togidir hise freendis and neiyboris, and seith to hem, Be ye glad with me, for Y haue founde my scheep, that hadde perischid.
7 Ngũmwĩra atĩrĩ, ũguo noguo kũgĩaga gĩkeno kĩnene igũrũ nĩ ũndũ wa mũndũ ũmwe mwĩhia wĩrirĩte, gũkĩra ũrĩa gũkenagwo nĩ ũndũ wa andũ mĩrongo kenda na kenda athingu arĩa matabatarĩtio nĩ kwĩrira.
And Y seie to you, so ioye schal be in heuene on o synful man doynge penaunce, more than on nynti and nyne iuste, that han no nede to penaunce.
8 “Kana mũtumia angĩkorwo arĩ na icunjĩ ikũmi cia betha, ĩmwe yacio yũre-rĩ, githĩ ndagwatagia tawa, akahaata nyũmba yothe, na akamĩcaria na kĩyo o nginya amĩone?
Or what womman hauynge ten besauntis, and if sche hath lost oo besaunt, whether sche teendith not a lanterne, and turneth vpsodoun the hows, and sekith diligentli, til that sche fynde it?
9 Na amĩona-rĩ, ageeta arata ake o na andũ a itũũra hamwe, akameera atĩrĩ, ‘Ũkai tũkenanĩre tondũ nĩnyonete mbeeca yakwa ĩrĩa ĩrorĩte.’
And whanne sche hath foundun, sche clepith togidir freendis and neiyboris, and seith, Be ye glad with me, for Y haue founde the besaunt, that Y hadde lost.
10 Ngũmwĩra atĩrĩ, ũguo noguo gũkoragwo na gĩkeno harĩ araika a Ngai nĩ ũndũ wa mwĩhia ũmwe wĩrirĩte.”
So Y seie to you, ioye schal be bifor aungels of God on o synful man doynge penaunce.
11 Jesũ agĩthiĩ na mbere akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Nĩ kwarĩ na mũndũ ũmwe warĩ na ariũ eerĩ.
And he seide, A man hadde twei sones;
12 Ũrĩa mũnini akĩĩra ithe atĩrĩ, ‘Baba ngaĩra igai rĩrĩa rĩngĩgatuĩka rĩakwa.’ Nĩ ũndũ ũcio ithe akĩmagayania indo ciake.
and the yonger of hem seide to the fadir, Fadir, yyue me the porcioun of catel, that fallith to me. And he departide to hem the catel.
And not aftir many daies, whanne alle thingis weren gederid togider, the yonger sone wente forth in pilgrymage in to a fer cuntre; and there he wastide hise goodis in lyuynge lecherously.
14 Nake aarĩkia kũhũthĩra indo ciake ciothe, gũkĩgĩa na ngʼaragu nene kũu bũrũri ũcio wothe, nake akĩambĩrĩria gũthĩĩnĩka.
And aftir that he hadde endid alle thingis, a strong hungre was maad in that cuntre, and he bigan to haue nede.
15 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio agĩthiĩ kũũria wĩra kũrĩ mũndũ ũmwe wa bũrũri ũcio, nake akĩmũtwara akarĩithagie ngũrwe gĩthaka-inĩ gĩake.
And he wente, and drouy hym to oon of the citeseyns of that cuntre. And he sente hym in to his toun, to fede swyn.
16 Nĩeriragĩria kwĩhũũnia na makoro marĩa maarĩĩagwo nĩ ngũrwe icio tondũ gũtirĩ mũndũ wamũheaga kĩndũ gĩa kũrĩa.
And he coueitide to fille his wombe of the coddis that the hoggis eeten, and no man yaf hym.
And he turnede ayen to hym silf, and seide, Hou many hirid men in my fadir hous han plente of looues; and Y perische here thorouy hungir.
18 Nĩngũũkĩra thiĩ kũrĩ baba ngamwĩre atĩrĩ: Baba, nĩnjĩhĩirie Ngai na ngakwĩhĩria.
Y schal rise vp, and go to my fadir, and Y schal seie to hym, Fadir, Y haue synned in to heuene, and bifor thee;
19 Ndĩagĩrĩirwo nĩgũcooka gwĩtagwo mũrũguo rĩngĩ; ndua ta ndungata ĩmwe yaku.’
and now Y am not worthi to be clepid thi sone, make me as oon of thin hirid men.
And he roos vp, and cam to his fadir. And whanne he was yit afer, his fadir saiy hym, and was stirrid bi mercy. And he ran, and fel on his necke, and kisside hym.
21 “Nake mũriũ akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, ‘Baba, nĩnjĩhĩirie Ngai o na ngakwĩhĩria. Ndiagĩrĩirwo nĩgũcooka gwĩtagwo mũrũguo rĩngĩ.’
And the sone seide to hym, Fadir, Y haue synned in to heuene, and bifor thee; and now Y am not worthi to be clepid thi sone.
22 “No ithe akĩĩra ndungata ciake atĩrĩ, ‘Thiĩi narua mũrehe nguo ĩrĩa njega mũno mũmũhumbe, na mũmwĩkĩre gĩcũhĩ kĩara, na iraatũ magũrũ.
And the fadir seide to hise seruauntis, Swithe brynge ye forth the firste stoole, and clothe ye hym, and yyue ye a ryng in his hoond,
23 Ningĩ mũrehe njaũ ya gĩcegũ ĩrĩa noru mũmĩthĩnje. Mũreke tũgĩe na iruga na tũkũngũĩre.
and schoon on hise feet; and brynge ye a fat calf, and sle ye, and ete we, and make we feeste.
24 Nĩgũkorwo mũriũ ũyũ wakwa ararĩ mũkuũ na nĩariũkĩte; nĩarorĩte na rĩu nĩonekete.’ Nĩ ũndũ ũcio makĩambĩrĩria gũkũngũĩra.
For this my sone was deed, and hath lyued ayen; he perischid, and is foundun. And alle men bigunnen to ete.
25 “Na rĩrĩ, hĩndĩ ĩyo mũriũ ũrĩa mũkũrũ aarĩ mũgũnda. Na rĩrĩa aakuhĩrĩirie mũciĩ akĩinũka-rĩ, akĩigua gũkĩinwo nyĩmbo na ndũhiũ.
But his eldere sone was in the feeld; and whanne he cam, and neiyede to the hous, he herde a symfonye and a croude.
26 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio mũriũ ũcio agĩĩta ndungata ĩmwe ya mũciĩ, akĩmĩũria gĩtũmi kĩa maũndũ macio.
And he clepide oon of the seruauntis, and axide, what these thingis weren.
27 Nayo ndungata ĩyo ĩkĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, ‘Mũrũ wa maitũguo nĩokĩte, nake thoguo nĩamũthĩnjĩire njaũ ya gĩcegũ ĩrĩa noru, tondũ nĩamũcookereire arĩ mwega na arĩ mũgima.’
And he seide to hym, Thi brother is comun, and thi fadir slewe a fat calf, for he resseyuede hym saaf.
And he was wrooth, and wolde not come in. Therfor his fadir wente out, and bigan to preye hym.
29 No akĩĩra ithe atĩrĩ, ‘Ta thikĩrĩria! Ndũire ngũrutagĩra wĩra mĩaka ĩyo yothe, na ndirĩ ndarega gũgwathĩkĩra. No rĩrĩ, ndũrĩ waahe o na koori nĩguo tũkũngũĩre na arata akwa.
And he answerde to his fadir, and seide, Lo! so many yeeris Y serue thee, and Y neuer brak thi comaundement; and thou neuer yaf to me a kidde, that Y with my freendis schulde haue ete.
30 No rĩrĩa mũrũguo ũyũ ũitangĩte indo ciaku na maraya ainũka, ũkamũthĩnjĩra njaũ ya gĩcegũ ĩrĩa noru!’
But aftir that this thi sone, that hath deuourid his substaunce with horis, cam, thou hast slayn to hym a fat calf.
31 “Ithe akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, ‘Mũrũ wakwa, wee tũtũũraga nawe hĩndĩ ciothe, na indo ciothe iria ndĩ nacio nĩ ciaku.
And he seide to hym, Sone, thou art euer more with me, and alle my thingis ben thine.
But it bihofte for to make feeste, and to haue ioye; for this thi brother was deed, and lyuede ayen; he perischide, and is foundun.
