1 Mũtĩ wa keerĩ wagwĩrĩire mũhĩrĩga wa Simeoni, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ. Igai rĩao rĩarĩ thĩinĩ wa bũrũri wa Juda.
The second/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Simeon. Each clan in that tribe was allotted some land that was inside the area that had been allotted to the tribe of Judah.
2 Igai rĩu rĩao rĩarĩ na matũũra maya: Birishiba (kana Shiba), na Molada,
Their land included the towns of Beersheba ([which is also named] Sheba), Moladah,
3 na Hazari-Shuali, na Bala, na Ezemu,
Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem,
4 na Elitoladi, na Bethulu, na Horoma,
Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5 na Zikilagi, na Bethi-Marikabothu, na Hazari-Susa,
Ziklag, Beth-Marcaboth. Hazar-Susah,
6 na Bethi-Lebaothu, na Sharuheni; mothe maarĩ matũũra ikũmi na matatũ na tũtũũra twamo.
Beth-Lebaoth, and Sharuhen. Altogether there were 13 towns and the surrounding villages.
7 Matũũra marĩa mangĩ maarĩ Aini, na Rimoni, na Etheri, na Ashani, matũũra mana na tũtũũra twamo,
The land allotted to them also included the four cities of Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan, and their surrounding villages.
8 hamwe na tũtũũra tũrĩa tũngĩ tuothe twathiũrũrũkĩirie matũũra macio o nginya Baalathu-Biri (norĩo Rama ya kũu Negevu). Rĩu nĩrĩo rĩarĩ igai rĩa mũhĩrĩga wa andũ a Simeoni, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ.
They were also allotted some very small villages in an area that extended south to Baalath-Beer (which is [also named] Ramah, in the southern desert). That was the land allotted to the clans of the tribe of Simeon.

The tribe of Judah had been allotted much more land than they needed, so part of their land was given to the tribe of Simeon.
10 Mũtĩ wa gatatũ wagũĩrĩire mũhĩrĩga wa Zebuluni, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ: Mũhaka wa igai rĩao wathiĩte nginya Saridi.
The third/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Zebulun. Each clan of that tribe was allotted some of the land. The southern border started at Sarid [city].
11 Mũhaka ũcio ũkĩambata ũrorete na mwena wa ithũĩro ũgĩkinya Marala, ũkĩhutia Dabeshethu na ũgĩtambũrũka ũgĩkinya karũũĩ karĩa kaarĩ hakuhĩ na Jokineamu.
It extended west to Maralah [city] and on to Dabbesheth [city], and on to the brook just north of Jokneam [city].
12 Ũgĩcooka ũkĩrigiicũka na mwena wa irathĩro kuuma Saridi werekeire mwena ũrĩa riũa rĩrathagĩra, ũrorete bũrũri wa Kisilothu-Taboru, na ũkerekera Daberathu, ũkambata ũgakinya Jafia.
The border extended east from Sarid to the area near Kisloth-Tabor [city] and on to Daberath [town] and on to Japhia [town].
13 Ningĩ mũhaka ũcio ũgĩthiĩ na mbere ũrorete mwena wa irathĩro, ũgĩkinya Gathi-Heferi na Ethi-Kazini; ũkiumĩrĩra Rimoni, na ũkĩrigiicũka mwena wa Nea.
From there it extended east to Gath-Hepher [city] and Eth-Kazin [town], and north to Rimmon [city]. From there the border extended [west] to Neah [town].
14 Kuuma hau mũhaka ũcio ũgĩthiũrũrũka na mwena wa gathigathini, ũgĩkinya Hanathoni, na ũkĩrĩkĩrĩra gĩtuamba-inĩ kĩa Ifita-Eli.
From Neah it extended south to Hannathon [city] and from there to Iphtah-El Valley.
15 Matũũra marĩa maanyiitĩtwo nĩ mũhaka ũcio maarĩ Katathu, na Nahalali, na Shimuroni, na Idala, na Bethilehemu. Mothe maarĩ matũũra ikũmi na meerĩ na tũtũũra twamo.
Their area included the towns of Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem. Altogether there were twelve towns and the surrounding villages.
16 Matũũra macio na tũtũũra twamo nĩmo maarĩ igai rĩa Zebuluni, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ.
That was the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Zebulun.
17 Mũtĩ wa kana wagwĩrĩire mũhĩrĩga wa Isakaru kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ.
The fourth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Issachar. Each of the clans of that tribe was allotted some of the land.
18 Bũrũri wao warĩ na matũũra maya: Jezireeli, na Kesulothu, na Shunemu,
Their land included the cities of Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,
19 na Hafaraimu, na Shioni, na Anaharathu,
Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20 na Rabithu, na Kishioni, na Ebezu,
Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,
21 na Remethu, na Eni-Ganimu, na Eni-Hada, na Bethi-Pazezu.
Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah, and Beth-Pazzez.
22 Mũhaka wahutĩtie Taboru, na Shahazuma, na Bethi-Shemeshu, na ũkarĩkĩrĩria Jorodani. Mothe maarĩ matũũra ikũmi na matandatũ na tũtũũra twamo.
The border of the area that was allotted to the tribe of Issachar was close to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-Shemesh [cities], and ended [in the east] at the Jordan [River]. Altogether there were 16 cities and the surrounding villages.
23 Matũũra macio na tũtũũra twamo nĩmo maarĩ igai rĩa mũhĩrĩga wa Isakaru, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ.
Those cities and villages were in the land allotted to the clans of the tribe of Issachar.
24 Mũtĩ wa gatano wagwĩrĩire mũhĩrĩga wa Asheri, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ.
The fifth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Asher. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
25 Bũrũri wao warĩ na matũũra maya: Helikathu, na Hali, na Beteni, na Akishafu,
Their land included the towns of Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,
26 na Alameleki, na Amadi, na Mishali. Mwena wa ithũĩro mũhaka wahutĩtie Karimeli na Shihoru-Libunathu.
Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal. The western border started at Carmel [Mountain] and Shihor-Libnath.
27 Ũgacooka ũkarigiicũka ũrorete na mwena wa irathĩro, ũgakinya Bethi-Dagoni, ũkahutia Zebuluni na Gĩtuamba kĩa Ifita-Eli, ũgacooka ũkerekera mwena wa gathigathini ũgakinya Bethi-Emeki na Neieli, ũhĩtũkĩire Kabuli mwena wa ũmotho.
From there it extended [southeast] to Beth-Dagon [town], and then to [the area that was allotted to the tribe of] Zebulun and Iphtah-El Valley. From there the border extended east and then north to Beth-Emek [town] and Neiel and Cabul [towns].
28 Mũhaka ũcio ũgĩthiĩ nginya Abudoni, na Rehobu, na Hamoni, na Kana, ũgĩkinya Sidoni ĩrĩa Nene.
From there it extended west to Abdon, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah [cities], and continued to Sidon, which is a big city.
29 Mũhaka ũcio ũgĩcooka ũkĩrigiicũka werekeire Rama, ũgĩthiĩ nginya itũũra inene rĩrĩa rĩirige na hinya rĩa Turo, ũgĩcooka ũkĩrigiicũka ũgĩkinya Hosa, na ũkiumĩrĩra iria rĩrĩa rĩrĩ gũkuhĩ na Akizibu,
From there the border extended south toward Ramah and to the big city of Tyre that had strong walls around it. From there the border extended [west] to Hosah [town] and ended at the [Mediterranean] Sea. Within their area were the towns of Aczib,
30 o na matũũra ma Uma, na Afeku, na Rehobu. Macio maarĩ matũũra mĩrongo ĩĩrĩ na meerĩ na tũtũũra twamo.
Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob. Altogether there were 22 towns and their surrounding villages.
31 Matũũra macio hamwe na tũtũũra twamo nĩmo maarĩ igai rĩa mũhĩrĩga wa Asheri, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ.
Those cities and villages were within the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Asher.
32 Mũtĩ wa gatandatũ wagwĩrĩire mũhĩrĩga wa Nafitali, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ:
The sixth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Naphtali. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
33 Mũhaka wao woimire Helefu o kũu mũtĩ-inĩ ũrĩa mũnene thĩinĩ wa Zaananimu, ũkĩhĩtũkĩra Adami-Nekebu na Jabineeli, ũgĩkinya Lakumu, na ũkĩrĩkĩrĩra Jorodani.
The border of their land started [in the west] at the [huge] oak tree at Zaanannim, near Heleph [town]. It extended [east] through Adami-Nekeb [city] and Jabneel, and then to Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan [River].
34 Mũhaka ũcio ũkĩrigiicũka ũrorete mwena wa ithũĩro ũhĩtũkĩire Azinothu-Taboru, na ũkiumĩrĩra Hukoku. Nĩwahutĩtie Zebuluni mwena wa gũthini, na ũkahutia Asheri mwena wa ithũĩro, na ũkahutia Jorodani mwena wa irathĩro.
The western boundary extended through Aznoth-Tabor as far as Hukkok [city]. It extended to the borders of [the tribe of] Zebulun at the south, to [the border of the tribe of] Asher on the west, and the Jordan [River] at the east.
35 Matũũra marĩa maarĩ mairigĩre na hinya maarĩ Zidimu, na Zeri, na Hamathu, na Rakathu, na Kinerethu,
[Within their land were] several cities with strong walls around them. They were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,
36 na Adama, na Rama, na Hazoru,
Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37 na Kedeshi, na Edirei, na Eni-Hazoru,
Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,
38 na Ironi, na Migidali-Eli, na Horemu, na Bethi-Anathu, na Bethi-Shemeshu. Mothe maarĩ matũũra ikũmi na kenda na tũtũũra twamo.
Iron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath, and Beth-Shemesh. Altogether there were 19 cities and the surrounding villages.
39 Matũũra macio na tũtũũra twamo nĩmo maarĩ igai rĩa mũhĩrĩga wa Nafitali, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ.
Those cities and surrounding villages were in the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Naphtali.
40 Mũtĩ wa mũgwanja wagwĩrĩire mũhĩrĩga wa Dani, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ.
The seventh/last tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Dan. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
41 Bũrũri wa igai rĩao warĩ na matũũra maya: Zora, na Eshitaoli, na Iri-Shemeshu,
Their land included the towns of Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,
42 na Shaalabini, na Aijaloni, na Ithila,
Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,
43 na Eloni, na Timina, na Ekironi,
Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
44 na Eliteke, na Gibethoni, na Baalathu,
Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,
45 na Jehudu, na Bene-Beraka, na Gathi-Rimoni,
Jehud, Bene-Berak, Gath-Rimmon,
46 na Me-Jarikoni, na Rakoni, hamwe na gĩcunjĩ kĩrĩa kĩngʼetheire Jopa.
Me-Jarkon, Rakkon, and the area near Joppa.
47 (No rĩrĩ, andũ a Dani nĩmaremirwo nĩ kwĩgwatĩra bũrũri wao; nĩ ũndũ ũcio makĩambata magĩtharĩkĩra itũũra rĩa Leshemu, makĩrĩtunyana na makĩũraga andũ arĩa maatũũraga kuo na rũhiũ rwa njora, narĩo rĩgĩgĩtuĩka rĩao. Nao magĩtũũra kũu Leshemu. Makĩrĩtua Dani o ta ũrĩa ithe wao eetagwo.)
But the people of the tribe of Dan were unable to take control of the land that had been allotted to them. So they went [northeast] and fought against the people in Leshem [city]. They defeated and killed all the people who lived there. Then they began to live in Leshem, and changed the name of the city to Dan, the man from whom their tribe descended.
48 Matũũra macio na tũtũũra twamo nĩmo maarĩ igai rĩa mũhĩrĩga wa Dani, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ.
All of those towns and surrounding villages were in the land that was allotted to the clans in the tribe of Dan.
49 Rĩrĩa maarĩkirie kũgaya bũrũri ũcio kũringana na ũrĩa icunjĩ ciaheanĩtwo-rĩ, andũ a Isiraeli makĩhe Joshua mũrũ wa Nuni igai gatagatĩ-inĩ kao,
After the Israeli leaders divided the land among the tribes, they allotted some land to Joshua.
50 o ta ũrĩa Jehova aathanĩte. Nao maamũheire itũũra rĩrĩa oorĩtie aheo narĩo nĩ Timuna-Sera o kũu bũrũri ũrĩa ũrĩ irĩma wa Efiraimu. Nake agĩaka itũũra rĩu agĩtũũra kuo.
They allotted to him Timnath-Serah. Yahweh had said that he could have whatever city he wanted, and that was the city that he chose. It was in the hilly region which was allotted to the tribe of Ephraim. Joshua rebuilt the city and lived there.

Those were the areas that were allotted to the various tribes of Israel. Eleazar the Supreme Priest and Joshua and the leaders of each tribe divided up the land while they were all at Shiloh, by (casting lots/throwing marked stones) [to decide which area each tribe would receive]. They did that while Yahweh was watching, at the entrance of the Sacred Tent. In that way they completed dividing up the land.
