< Ayubu 33 >
1 “No rĩu Ayubu-rĩ, thikĩrĩria ciugo ciakwa; tega matũ ũigue ũrĩa wothe nguuga.
Therfor, Joob, here thou my spechis, and herkene alle my wordis.
2 Ndĩ hakuhĩ gũtumũra kanua gakwa; ciugo ciakwa irĩ o rũrĩmĩ-inĩ rwakwa.
Lo! Y haue openyd my mouth, my tunge schal speke in my chekis.
3 Ciugo ciakwa ciumĩte ngoro nũngĩrĩru; mĩromo yakwa yaragia ĩtarĩ na ũhinga.
Of symple herte ben my wordis, and my lippis schulen speke clene sentence.
4 Roho wa Mũrungu nĩwe ũnyũmbĩte; mĩhũmũ ya Mwene-Hinya-Wothe nĩyo ĩĩheaga muoyo.
The spirit of God made me, and the brething of Almyyti God quykenyde me.
5 Nawe njookeria, akorwo nĩũkũhota; wĩhaarĩrie ũũngʼethere.
If thou maist, answere thou to me, and stoonde thou ayens my face.
6 Niĩ haana o tawe maitho-inĩ ma Mũrungu; o na niĩ ndombirwo na rĩũmba.
Lo! God made me as and thee; and also Y am formyd of the same cley.
7 Kwĩĩndigĩra gũtigakũmakie, kana guoko gwakwa gũkũritũhĩre.
Netheles my myracle make thee not afeerd, and myn eloquence be not greuouse to thee.
8 “No rĩrĩ, nĩuugĩte ngĩiguaga, ngaigua ciugo icio ũkiuga atĩ,
Therfor thou seidist in myn eeris, and Y herde the vois of thi wordis;
9 ‘Ndĩ mũtheru na ndirĩ na mehia; ndiĩkĩte ũũru, na ndirĩ na mahĩtia.
Y am cleene, and with out gilt, and vnwemmed, and wickidnesse is not in me.
10 No Ngai nĩanyonete na mahĩtia; anduĩte thũ yake.
`For God foond querels in me, therfor he demyde me enemy to hym silf.
11 Nĩanjohaga magũrũ na mĩnyororo; arangagĩra njĩra ciakwa ciothe.’
He hath set my feet in a stok; he kepte alle my pathis.
12 “No ngũkwĩra atĩrĩ, ũhoro-inĩ ũyũ wee ndũrĩ na kĩhooto, nĩgũkorwo Ngai nĩ mũnene gũkĩra mũndũ.
Therfor this thing it is, in which thou art not maad iust; Y schal answere to thee, that God is more than man.
13 Ũramũtetia nĩkĩ, atĩ ndacookagia kiugo kĩa mũndũ o na kĩmwe?
Thou stryuest ayenus God, that not at alle wordis he answeride to thee.
14 Nĩgũkorwo Mũrungu nĩaaragia, rĩmwe na njĩra ĩmwe, na rĩngĩ akaaria na njĩra ĩngĩ, o na gũtuĩka mũndũ no aage gũkũũrana.
God spekith onys, and the secounde tyme he rehersith not the same thing.
15 Rĩmwe akaaragia kĩroto-inĩ na kĩoneki-inĩ gĩa ũtukũ, rĩrĩa andũ mahĩtĩtwo nĩ toro mũnene marĩ ũrĩrĩ,
God spekith bi a dreem in the visioun of nyyt, whanne sleep fallith on men, and thei slepen in the bed.
16 no amaarĩrie matũ-inĩ mao, na amamakie nĩguo amakaanie,
Thanne he openith the eeris of men, and he techith hem, `and techith prudence;
17 nĩguo agarũre mũndũ atige kũhĩtia, na atigane na mwĩtĩĩo,
that he turne awei a man fro these thingis whiche he made, and delyuere hym fro pride; delyuerynge his soule fro corrupcioun,
18 nĩguo agitĩre roho wake kuuma gĩkuũ-inĩ, na agitĩre muoyo wake ndũkaniinwo na rũhiũ rwa njora.
and his lijf, that it go not in to swerd.
19 Ningĩ mũndũ no arũithio na gũkomio ũrĩrĩ wa ruo, akorwo na thĩĩna wa mahĩndĩ ũtathiraga,
Also God blameth a synnere bi sorewe in the bed, and makith alle the boonys of hym `to fade.
20 o nginya ngoro yake ĩgathũũra irio, na roho wake ũgathũũra irio iria njega mũno.
Breed is maad abhomynable to hym in his lijf, and mete desirable `bifor to his soule.
21 Nyama cia mwĩrĩ wake ihĩnjaga igathirĩrĩkĩra, na mahĩndĩ make marĩa mataroonekaga makoimĩra.
His fleisch schal faile for rot, and hise boonys, that weren hilid, schulen be maad nakid.
22 Roho wake ũgakuhĩrĩria mbĩrĩra, na muoyo wake ũgakuhĩrĩria arĩa mareehage gĩkuũ.
His soule schal neiye to corrupcioun, and his lijf to thingis `bryngynge deeth.
23 “No rĩrĩ, angĩkorwo harĩ na mũraika mwena wake arĩ mũiguithania, ũmwe harĩ ngiri, wa kwĩra mũndũ ũndũ ũrĩa ũmwagĩrĩire,
If an aungel, oon of a thousynde, is spekynge for hym, that he telle the equyte of man, God schal haue mercy on hym,
24 nake amũkinyĩrie wega wake na oige atĩrĩ, ‘Mũhonokie ndagatuĩke wa gũikũrũka mbĩrĩra-inĩ; nĩnyonete gĩa kũmũkũũra nakĩo,’
and schal seie, Delyuere thou hym, that he go not doun in to corrupcioun; Y haue founde in what thing Y schal do merci to hym.
25 hĩndĩ ĩyo nyama cia mwĩrĩ wake igeethĩha ta cia mwana; igaacooka ta ũrĩa ciarĩ matukũ-inĩ ma wĩthĩ wake.
His fleisch is wastid of turmentis; turne he ayen to the daies of his yonge wexynge age.
26 Ahooyaga Ngai ageekwo wega nĩwe, oonaga ũthiũ wa Ngai akaanĩrĩra nĩ gũkena; agacookio ũthingu-inĩ wake nĩ Ngai.
He schal biseche God, and he schal be quemeful to hym; and he schal se his face in hertly ioye, and he schal yelde to man his riytfulnesse.
27 Nake agacooka agathiĩ kũrĩ andũ akameera atĩrĩ, ‘Nĩndehirie, na ngĩogomia ũndũ ũrĩa warĩ wa ma, no ndiigana kũherithio ũrĩa ndaagĩrĩirwo nĩkũherithio.
He schal biholde men, and he schal seie, Y haue synned, and verili Y haue trespassid; and Y haue not resseyued, as Y was worthi.
28 Nĩakũũrire roho wakwa ndũkaharũrũkio mbĩrĩra, na niĩ ngũtũũra ngenagĩra ũtheri ũcio.’
For he delyueride his soule, that it schulde not go in to perischyng, but that he lyuynge schulde se liyt.
29 “Mũrungu nĩekaga mũndũ maũndũ macio mothe, maita meerĩ o na kana matatũ,
Lo! God worchith alle these thingis in thre tymes bi alle men;
30 nĩguo agarũre roho wake ndũkaharũrũkio mbĩrĩra, nĩgeetha ũtheri ũcio wa muoyo ũmũtherere.
that he ayen clepe her soulis fro corrupcioun, and liytne in the liyt of lyuynge men.
31 “Atĩrĩrĩ Ayubu, tega matũ na ũũthikĩrĩrie; kira ki na niĩ njarie.
Thou, Joob, perseyue, and here me, and be thou stille, the while Y speke.
32 Wakorwo ũrĩ na ũndũ wa kuuga-rĩ, njĩĩra; aria, nĩgũkorwo ingĩenda woneke ndwĩhĩtie.
Sotheli if thou hast what thou schalt speke, answere thou to me, speke thou; for Y wole, that thou appere iust.
33 No akorwo ti ũguo-rĩ, wee gĩthikĩrĩrie; kira ki, na nĩngũkũruta ũũgĩ.”
That if thou hast not, here thou me; be thou stille, and Y schal teche thee wisdom.
