< Ayubu 18 >
1 Ningĩ Bilidadi ũrĩa Mũshuhi agĩcookia, akĩũria atĩrĩ:
And he answered Bildad the Shuhite and he said.
2 “Ũrĩĩtiga kwaria mĩario ĩno rĩ? Gĩa na ũũgĩ nĩguo o na ithuĩ tũhote kwaria.
Until when? - will you make! ends of words you will consider and after we will speak.
3 Nĩ kĩĩ kĩratũma ũtuone tũhaana ta ngʼombe, na tũgatuuo irimũ maitho-inĩ maku?
Why? are we regarded like cattle are we considered stupid? in view your.
4 Wee ũrehanyũrũra nĩ ũndũ wa ũrĩa ũrakarĩte-rĩ, thĩ no ĩthaamwo nĩ ũndũ waku? Kana no nginya ndwaro cia mahiga cieherio harĩa itũire?
O [one who] tears self his in anger his ¿ for sake your may it be abandoned [the] earth so it may move? a rock from place its.
5 “Tawa wa mũndũ mwaganu nĩmũhorie; rũrĩrĩmbĩ rwa mwaki wake nĩrũtigĩte gwakana.
Also [the] light of wicked [people] it is extinguished and not it shines [the] flame of fire his.
6 Ũtheri ũrĩa ũrĩ thĩinĩ wa hema yake ũtuĩkĩte nduma; naguo tawa ũrĩa ũrĩ hakuhĩ nake ũkahora.
[the] light It grows dark in tent his and lamp his above him it is extinguished.
7 Hinya wa mũkinyũkĩrie wake nĩmũhũthie; namo mathugunda make makamũgũithia thĩ.
They are restricted [the] steps of vigor his and it throws down him own plan[s] his.
8 Makinya make mamũikagia wabu-inĩ, nake akoorũraga thĩinĩ wa marima mayo.
For he is caught in a net by feet his and on a network he walks about.
9 Mũtego ũmũnyiitĩire ndiira-inĩ ya kũgũrũ; mũtego ũgakĩmũrũmia biũ.
It takes hold on a heel a trap it takes hold on him a snare.
10 Ahithĩirwo kĩana kĩa rũrigi tĩĩri-inĩ, akaambĩrwo mũtego njĩra-inĩ yake.
[is] hidden On the ground rope his and trap his on [the] path.
11 Imakania imuumagĩrĩra na mĩena yothe, na ikamũtengʼeragia harĩa hothe aagerera.
All around they terrify him sudden terror and they scatter him to feet his.
12 Mũtino nĩũmũhũũtĩire; mwanangĩko wetereire agwe.
It is hungry trouble his and disaster [is] prepared for stumbling his.
13 Mũtino ũrĩĩaga icunjĩ cia gĩkonde gĩake; narĩo irigithathi rĩa gĩkuũ rĩgatambuuranga ciĩga ciake.
It consumes [the] parts of skin his it consumes parts his [the] firstborn of death.
14 Aguucĩtio, akarutwo ũgitĩri-inĩ wa hema yake, na agatwarwo kũrĩ mũthamaki wa imakania.
He is torn away from tent his trust his and it makes march him to [the] king of sudden terror.
15 Mwaki nĩguo ũtũũraga hema-inĩ yake; ũbiriti ũgwakana nĩũhurunjĩtwo gĩikaro gĩake.
It dwells in tent his because not [belonging] to him it is scattered over estate his sulfur.
16 Mĩri yake yũmagĩra tĩĩri-inĩ, nacio honge ciake ikahooha na igũrũ.
Beneath roots his they are dried up and above it withers branch[es] his.
17 Kĩririkano gĩake nĩ gĩgaathira thĩ; ndarĩ rĩĩtwa bũrũri-inĩ.
Memory his it perishes from [the] earth and not a name [belongs] to him on [the] face of [the] street.
18 Akaarutũrũrwo ũtheri-inĩ atwarwo nduma-inĩ na nĩakaingatwo oime thĩ ĩno.
People drive him from light into darkness and from [the] world they chase away him.
19 Ndarĩ ciana kana njiaro thĩinĩ wa andũ ao, o na ndarĩ mũndũ wake ũgaatigara kũrĩa aatũũraga.
Not posterity [belongs] to him and not progeny [is] among people his and there not [is] a survivor in sojourning-places his.
20 Andũ a mwena wa ithũĩro nĩmakagegio nĩ maũndũ marĩa mamũkorete; andũ a mwena wa irathĩro manyiitwo nĩ kĩmako.
On day his they are appalled [those] behind and [those] before they take hold of a shudder.
21 Ti-itherũ ũguo nĩguo gĩikaro kĩa mũndũ mwaganu gũkahaana; kũndũ kwa mũndũ ũrĩa ũtooĩ Mũrungu-rĩ, gwake kũhaana ũguo.”
Surely these [are] [the] dwelling places of an evil-doer and this [is the] place of [one who] not he knows God.
