< Isaia 66 >

1 Jehova ekuuga ũũ: “Igũrũ nĩrĩo gĩtĩ gĩakwa kĩa ũnene, nayo thĩ nĩyo gĩturwa gĩakwa kĩa magũrũ. Mũngĩkĩnjakĩra nyũmba ĩhaana atĩa? Naho handũ hakwa ha kũhurũka hangĩkorwo hahaana atĩa?
The LORD says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build to me? Where will I rest?
2 Githĩ ti guoko gwakwa gwathondekire indo ici ciothe, na gũgĩtũma igĩe kuo?” ũguo nĩguo Jehova ekuuga. “Atĩrĩrĩ, mũndũ ũyũ nowe ngaatĩĩa: nĩ mũndũ ũrĩa wĩnyiihagia na akagĩa na ngoro ĩherete, na akainaina rĩrĩa ekũigua kiugo gĩakwa.
For my hand has made all these things, and so all these things came to be,” says the LORD: “but I will look to this man, even to he who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.
3 No rĩrĩ, mũndũ ũrĩa ũrutaga ndegwa igongona ahaana o ta ũrĩa ũragaga mũndũ, nake ũrĩa ũrutaga gatũrũme, ahaana o ta mũndũ ũrĩa uunaga ngui ngingo; mũndũ ũrĩa ũrutaga iruta rĩa mũtu, ahaana o ta mũndũ ũrĩa ũrutaga thakame ya ngũrwe, nake ũrĩa ũcinaga ũbumba wa kĩririkano, ahaana o ta mũndũ ũrĩa ũhooyaga mũhianano. Andũ acio nĩmethuurĩire njĩra ciao o ene, na ngoro ciao igakenagio nĩ maũndũ marĩa marĩ magigi;
He who kills an ox is as he who kills a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, as he who breaks a dog’s neck; he who offers an offering, as he who offers pig’s blood; he who burns frankincense, as he who blesses an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
4 nĩ ũndũ ũcio, niĩ o na niĩ nĩngathuura kũmeka ũndũ mũũru na ndĩmarehithĩrie maũndũ marĩa matũmaga metigĩrĩte. Nĩgũkorwo rĩrĩa ndetanire, gũtirĩ mũndũ o na ũmwe wanjĩtĩkire, na rĩrĩa ndaaririe, gũtirĩ mũndũ o na ũmwe wathikĩrĩirie. Andũ acio meekire maũndũ mooru maitho-inĩ makwa, na magĩthuura maũndũ marĩa matangenagia.”
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears on them, because when I called, no one answered; when I spoke, they didn’t listen, but they did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I didn’t delight.”
5 Atĩrĩrĩ, inyuĩ mũinainaga nĩ gũtĩĩa kiugo gĩake, ta iguai ndũmĩrĩri ya Jehova: “Ariũ a thoguo arĩa mamũthũire, na makamũingata nĩ ũndũ wa rĩĩtwa rĩakwa, moigĩte atĩrĩ, ‘Jehova ta nĩagĩkumio nĩguo tũkĩone gĩkeno kĩanyu!’ No rĩrĩ, o nĩmagaconorithio.
Hear the LORD’s word, you who tremble at his word: “Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for my name’s sake, have said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy;’ but it is those who shall be disappointed.
6 Ta iguai mbugĩrĩrio ĩyo ĩroima kũu itũũra rĩrĩa inene, mũigue inegene rĩu rĩroima kũu hekarũ-inĩ! Ũcio nĩ mũgambo wa Jehova mũraigua akĩrĩha thũ ciake kĩrĩa kĩmagĩrĩire.
A voice of tumult from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that repays his enemies what they deserve.
7 “Atanambĩrĩria kũrũmwo-rĩ, nĩaciarĩte: na ataanarũmwo nĩ ruo-rĩ, agagĩciara mwana wa kahĩĩ.
“Before she travailed, she gave birth. Before her pain came, she delivered a son.
8 Nũũ ũrĩ aigua ũndũ ta ũcio? Nũũ ũrĩ wona maũndũ ta macio? Anga bũrũri wakĩhota gũciarĩrwo andũ aguo mũthenya o ro ũmwe, o na kana rũrĩrĩ rũkĩigane o ro rĩmwe? No rĩrĩ, o rĩrĩa Zayuni yanyiitirwo nĩ ruo-rĩ, o hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩguo yaciarire ciana ciayo o ro rĩmwe.
Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she gave birth to her children.
9 Anga no nginyie ihinda rĩa mwana gũciarwo na ndikĩreke aciarwo?” ũguo nĩguo Jehova ekũũria. “Anga no hingĩrĩrie mwana nda nginyĩtie ihinda rĩake rĩa gũciarwo?” ũguo nĩguo Ngai wanyu ekũũria.
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to be delivered?” says the LORD. “Shall I who cause to give birth shut the womb?” says your God.
10 “Inyuĩ inyuothe arĩa mwendete itũũra rĩa Jerusalemu, kenanĩrai narĩo na mũcanjamũke nĩ ũndũ warĩo; kenanĩrai mũno narĩo, inyuĩ inyuothe arĩa mũtũire mũrĩcakayagĩra.
“Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all you who love her. Rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn over her;
11 Nĩgeetha mũhaane ta andũ mongete maũndũ mega marĩo, mũkahũũna mũhooreire nyondo-inĩ ciake; ningĩ mũnyuuage mũkanyootoka, na mũkenagĩre ũingĩ wa iria rĩake.”
that you may nurse and be satisfied at the comforting breasts; that you may drink deeply, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.”
12 Nĩgũkorwo ũũ nĩguo Jehova ekuuga: “Nĩngakinyĩria itũũra rĩa Jerusalemu thayũ ũhaana ta rũũĩ, na ũtonga wa ndũrĩrĩ ũhaana taarĩ rũũĩ rũiyũrĩte rũkoina; mũkahoorera ta kaana gakĩongithio nĩ nyina, mũgaakuuo na moko make, na mũcũgacũgagio mũrĩ maru-inĩ make.
For the LORD says, “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream, and you will nurse. You will be carried on her side, and will be dandled on her knees.
13 O ta ũrĩa mwana ahooreragio nĩ nyina, ũguo noguo ngaamũhooreria; na nĩmũkahoorerio mũrĩ kũu Jerusalemu.”
As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you. You will be comforted in Jerusalem.”
14 Rĩrĩa mũkoona ũndũ ũcio, ngoro cianyu nĩigakena, nawe ũrirũke ta nyeki nduru; naguo hinya wa guoko kwa Jehova nĩũkamenyeka nĩ ndungata ciake, no marakara make nĩmakamenyeka nĩ thũ ciake.
You will see it, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones will flourish like the tender grass. The LORD’s hand will be known among his servants; and he will have indignation against his enemies.
15 Atĩrĩrĩ, Jehova arooka arĩ na mwaki, na ngaari ciake cia ita ihaana ta kĩhuhũkanio kĩnene; akaamũikũrũkĩria marakara make arĩ na mangʼũrĩ, na amũkũũme na ikũũmana rĩhaana ta nĩnĩmbĩ cia mwaki.
For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and his chariots will be like the whirlwind; to render his anger with fierceness, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 Nĩgũkorwo Jehova nĩagatuĩra andũ othe ciira, arĩ na mwaki na rũhiũ rwake rwa njora, na arĩa makooragwo nĩ Jehova magaakorwo marĩ aingĩ.
For the LORD will execute judgment by fire and by his sword on all flesh; and those slain by the LORD will be many.
17 “Na rĩrĩ, andũ arĩa meamũrĩte na magetheria nĩguo mathiĩ marũmĩrĩire ũrĩa ũrĩ gatagatĩ nĩguo makinye magongona-inĩ marĩa marutagĩrwo mĩgũnda-inĩ, o acio marĩĩaga nyama cia ngũrwe na mbĩa, na indo ingĩ irĩ thaahu, magaathiranĩra hamwe,” ũguo nĩguo Jehova ekuuga.
“Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go to the gardens, following one in the middle, eating pig’s meat, abominable things, and the mouse, they shall come to an end together,” says the LORD.
“For I know their works and their thoughts. The time comes that I will gather all nations and languages, and they will come, and will see my glory.
19 “Nĩngekĩra kĩmenyithia thĩinĩ wao, na amwe a arĩa makaahonoka nĩngamatũma mathiĩ ndũrĩrĩ-inĩ: mathiĩ Tarishishi, na mathiĩ Putu na Ludu kũrĩ andũ arĩa me ngumo ya gũikia mĩguĩ, na mathiĩ Tubali na Javani, na mathiĩ kũrĩ andũ arĩa matũũraga icigĩrĩra-inĩ cia kũndũ kũraya, kũrĩa gũtarĩ kwaiguuo ngumo yakwa, kana gũkonwo riiri wakwa. Nĩmakahunjia ũhoro wa riiri wakwa kũrĩ andũ a ndũrĩrĩ.
“I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to far-away islands, who have not heard my fame, nor have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.
20 Nao nĩmakarehe ariũ a thoguo othe, kuuma ndũrĩrĩ-inĩ ciothe, marehwo makuuĩtwo nĩ mbarathi, na ngaari cia ita, na makaari ma kũguucio, na mahaicĩte nyũmbũ na ngamĩĩra, moke kĩrĩma-inĩ gĩakwa kĩrĩa kĩamũre kũu Jerusalemu, matuĩke ta igongona harĩ Jehova,” ũguo nĩguo Jehova ekuuga. “Nao magaacirehe o ta ũrĩa andũ a Isiraeli marehaga ngano yao ya maruta kũu hekarũ-inĩ ya Jehova ĩkuuĩtwo na indo iria itarĩ thaahu.
They shall bring all your brothers out of all the nations for an offering to the LORD, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules, and on camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the LORD, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into the LORD’s house.
21 Na niĩ nĩngathuura amwe ao matuĩke athĩnjĩri-Ngai na Alawii,” ũguo nĩguo Jehova ekuuga.
Of them I will also select priests and Levites,” says the LORD.
22 Jehova ekuuga atĩrĩ, “O ta ũrĩa igũrũ rĩu rĩerũ na thĩ njerũ iria ngũthondeka igatũũra mbere yakwa-rĩ, ũguo noguo rĩĩtwa rĩaku na njiaro ciaku irĩtũũraga.
“For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me,” says the LORD, “so your offspring and your name shall remain.
23 Kuuma Karũgamo ka Mweri ũmwe nginya Karũgamo ka Mweri ũrĩa ũngĩ, na kuuma Thabatũ ĩmwe nginya Thabatũ ĩrĩa ĩngĩ, andũ othe nĩmagookaga kũhooya mainamĩrĩire mbere yakwa,” ũguo nĩguo Jehova ekuuga.
It shall happen that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before me,” says the LORD.
24 “Nao nĩmakoimagara makerorere ciimba cia andũ arĩa maanemeire; nĩ ũndũ igunyũ ciao itigakua, o na kana mwaki ũrĩa wa kũmacina ũhore, nao nĩmagatuĩka ta kĩndũ gĩthũirwo mũno nĩ andũ othe.”
“They will go out, and look at the dead bodies of the men who have transgressed against me; for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”
