1 Na rĩrĩ, mĩaka ĩĩrĩ mĩgima yathira-rĩ, Firaũni akĩroota kĩroto: Akĩona arũgamĩte rũteere-inĩ rwa Rũũĩ rwa Nili;
And it fortuned at. ij. yeres end that Pharao dreamed and thought that he stode by a ryuers syde and that there came out of the ryver
2 na rĩrĩ, gũkiumĩra ngʼombe mũgwanja njega na noru kuuma thĩinĩ wa rũũĩ rũu, na igĩitĩka kũrĩa nyeki ithanjĩ-inĩ.
.vij. goodly kyne and fatt fleshed and fedd in a medowe.
3 Thuutha wacio rĩ, hakiumĩra ngʼombe ingĩ mũgwanja, njongʼi na hĩnju, kuuma rũũĩ rũu rwa Nili, na ikĩrũgama mwena-inĩ harĩa icio ingĩ ciarũgamĩte hũgũrũrũ-inĩ cia rũũĩ.
And him though that. vij. other kyne came vp after them out of the ryver euelfauored and leane fleshed and stode by the other vpon the brynke of the ryuer.
4 Na rĩrĩ, ngʼombe icio njongʼi na hĩnju ikĩrĩa ngʼombe iria mũgwanja njega na noru. Hĩndĩ ĩyo Firaũni akĩũrwo nĩ toro.
And the evill favored and Ienefleshed kyne ate vp the. vij. welfauored and fatt kyne: and be awoke their with.
5 Ningĩ Firaũni agĩkoma rĩngĩ na akĩroota kĩroto gĩa keerĩ: Magira mũgwanja mega ma ngano, maiyũrĩte ngano, maakũraga kamũtĩ-inĩ kamwe ka ngano.
And he slepte agayne and dreamed the second tyme that. vij. eares of corne grewe apon one stalke rancke and goodly.
6 Thuutha wamo gũgĩthethũka magira mangĩ mũgwanja ma ngano mahĩnju, mahaana ta macinĩtwo nĩ rũhuho rwa mwena wa irathĩro.
And that. vij. thynne eares blasted with the wynde spronge vp after them:
7 Magira macio mahĩnju ma ngano makĩmeria magira marĩa mũgwanja maarĩ mega na maiyũrĩte ngano. Hĩndĩ ĩyo Firaũni akĩũrwo nĩ toro, agĩũkĩra agĩkora nĩ kũroota ekũrootaga.
and that the. vij. thynne eares deuowrerd the. vij. rancke and full eares. And than Pharao awaked: and se here is his dreame.
8 Rũciinĩ agĩtangĩka meciiria, na nĩ ũndũ ũcio agĩtũmanĩra andũ-ago othe na andũ arĩa oogĩ a Misiri. Firaũni akĩmeera irooto ciake, no gũtirĩ wao o na ũmwe wahotire kũmũtaũrĩra.
When the mornynge came his sprete was troubled And he sent and casted for all the soythsayers of Egypte and all the wyse men there of and told them his dreame: but there was none of them that coude interpretate it vnto Pharao.
9 Hĩndĩ ĩyo mũnene wa arĩa maamũtwaragĩra ndibei akĩĩra Firaũni atĩrĩ, “Ũmũthĩ nĩndaririkanio mahĩtia makwa.
Than spake the chefe buttelar vnto Pharao saynge. I do remembre my fawte this daye.
10 Hĩndĩ ĩmwe-rĩ, Firaũni nĩarakarĩtio nĩ ndungata ciake; na niĩ hamwe na mũnene wa arĩa athondeki mĩgate-rĩ, agĩtuohithia njeera nyũmba-inĩ ya mũnene wa arangĩri.
Pharao was angrie with his servauntes and put in warde in the chefe marshals house both me and the chefe baker.
11 Ũtukũ ũmwe-rĩ, o ũmwe witũ akĩroota kĩroto, na o kĩroto kĩarĩ na ũtaũri wakĩo mwanya.
And we dreamed both of vs in one nyght and ech mannes dreame of a sondrye interpretation.
12 Na rĩrĩ, kũu njeera twarĩ na mwanake Mũhibirania, ndungata ya mũnene wa arangĩri. Na ithuĩ tũkĩmwĩra irooto ciitũ, nake agĩtũtaũrĩra; akĩhe o mũndũ ũtaũri wa kĩroto gĩake.
And there was with vs a yonge man an Hebrue borne servaunte vnto the chefe marshall. And we told him and he declared oure dreames to vs acordynge to ether of oure dreames.
13 Namo maũndũ magĩkĩka o ta ũrĩa aatũtaũrĩire. Niĩ ngĩcookio wĩra-inĩ wakwa, nake mũndũ ũcio ũngĩ agĩcuurio mũtĩ igũrũ.”
And as he declared them vnto vs euen so it came to passe. I was restored to myne office agayne and he was hanged.
14 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Firaũni agĩtũmanĩra Jusufu, nake akĩrutwo kũu njeera narua. Na aarĩkia kwĩyenja na kũruta nguo iria arĩ nacio na gwĩkĩra ingĩ-rĩ, agĩthiĩ mbere ya Firaũni.
Than Pharao sent and called Ioseph. And they made him haste out of preson. And he shaued him self and chaunged his rayment and went in to Pharao.
15 Nake Firaũni akĩĩra Jusufu atĩrĩ, “Ndĩrarootire kĩroto na gũtirĩ mũndũ ũrahota gũgĩtaũra. No nĩnjiguĩte gũkĩĩrwo atĩrĩ, wee ũngĩĩrwo kĩroto no ũhote gũgĩtaũra.”
And Pharao sayde vnto Ioseph: I haue dreamed a dreame and no man ca interpretate it but I haue herde saye of the yt as soon as thou hearest a dreame thou dost interpretate it.
16 Jusufu agĩcookeria Firaũni atĩrĩ, “Niĩ mwene ndingĩhota, no Ngai nĩekũhe Firaũni macookio marĩa arenda.”
And Ioseph answered Pharao saynge: God shall geue Pharao an answere of peace without me.
17 Hĩndĩ ĩyo Firaũni akĩĩra Jusufu atĩrĩ, “Kĩroto-inĩ gĩakwa-rĩ, ndĩrarũgamĩte hũgũrũrũ-inĩ cia Rũũĩ rwa Nili,
Pharao sayde vnto Ioseph: in my dreame me thought I stode by a ryvers syde and there came out of the ryver
18 rĩrĩa haroimĩrire ngʼombe mũgwanja njega na noru kuuma rũũĩ, na iraitĩka kũrĩa kũu ithanjĩ-inĩ.
vij fatt fleshed ad well fauored kyne and fedd in the medowe.
19 Thuutha wacio kũracooka kũroimĩra ngʼombe ingĩ mũgwanja hinyaru, njongʼi mũno na hĩnju. Ndirĩ ndona ngʼombe njongʼi ta icio bũrũri-inĩ wothe wa Misiri.
And then. vij. other kyne came vp after them poore and very euell fauored ad leane fleshed: so that I neuer sawe their lyke in all the lande of Egipte in euell fauordnesse.
20 Nacio ngʼombe icio hĩnju na njongʼi irarĩa ngʼombe iria mũgwanja noru iria iroimĩrĩte mbere.
And the. vij. leane and euell fauored kyne ate vpp the first. vij. fatt kyne
21 No rĩrĩ, o na ciarĩkia gũcirĩa-rĩ, gũtirĩ mũndũ ũngĩramenyire atĩ nĩirarĩĩte; tondũ ironekaga irĩ o njongʼi o ta mbere. Hĩndĩ ĩyo ndĩrokĩra.
And when they had eaten them vp a man cowde not perceaue that they had eate them: for they were still as evyll fauored as they were at the begynnynge. And I awoke.
22 “Ningĩ irooto-inĩ ciakwa-rĩ, nĩndĩronire magira mũgwanja mega ma ngano na maiyũrĩte ngano, magĩkũũra kamũtĩ-inĩ ka ngano.
And I sawe agayne in my dreame. vij. eares sprynge out of one stalk full and good
23 Thuutha wamo, magira mangĩ mũgwanja marathethũka, marĩ mahoohu na macinĩtwo nĩ rũhuho rwa mwena wa irathĩro.
and. vij. other eares wytherd thinne and blasted with wynde sprynge vp after them.
24 Namo magira macio mahĩnju marameria magira marĩa mũgwanja mega. Ndĩraheire andũ-ago ũhoro ũcio, no gũtirĩ o na ũmwe ũrahotire kũndaũrĩra irooto icio.”
And the thynne eares deuowred the. vij. good cares. And I haue tolde it vnto the sothsayers but no man can tell me what it meaneth.
25 Nake Jusufu akĩĩra Firaũni atĩrĩ, “Irooto cia Firaũni cierĩ no kĩroto kĩmwe. Ngai nĩaguũrĩirie Firaũni ũrĩa akiriĩ gwĩka.
Then Ioseph sayde vnto Pharao: both Pharaos dreames are one. And god doth shewe Pharao what he is aboute to do.
26 Ngʼombe iria mũgwanja njega nĩ mĩaka mũgwanja, na magira marĩa mũgwanja mega ma ngano nĩ mĩaka mũgwanja; kĩroto kĩu no kĩmwe.
The vij. good kyne are. vij yeare: and the. vij. good eares are. vij. yere also and is but one dreame.
27 Nacio ngʼombe icio mũgwanja hĩnju na njongʼi iria cioimĩrire thuutha nĩ mĩaka mũgwanja, na no taguo magira marĩa mũgwanja matarĩ ngano macinĩtwo nĩ rũhuho rwa mwena wa irathĩro: ĩyo nĩ mĩaka mũgwanja ya ngʼaragu.
Lykewyse the. vij. thynne and euell fauored kyne that came out after them are. vij. yeares: and the. vij. emptie and blasted eares shalbe vij. yeares of hunger.
28 “Na o ta ũrĩa ndeera Firaũni: Ngai nĩ oneetie Firaũni ũrĩa akiriĩ gwĩka.
This is that which I sayde vnto Pharao that God doth shewe Pharao what he is aboute to doo.
29 Nĩgũgũkorwo na mĩaka mũgwanja ya bũthi mũnene bũrũri wothe wa Misiri,
Beholde there shall come. vij. yere of great plenteousnes through out all the lande of Egypte.
30 no nĩgũgũcooka kũrũmĩrĩrwo nĩ mĩaka mũgwanja ya ngʼaragu. Naguo bũthi ũcio wothe wa Misiri nĩũkariganĩra, nayo ngʼaragu nĩĩkananga bũrũri ũyũ.
And there shall aryse after them vij. yeres of hunger. So that all the plenteousnes shalbe forgeten in the lande of Egipte. And the hunger shall consume the lande:
31 Bũthi wa bũrũri ndũkaririkanwo, tondũ ngʼaragu ĩrĩa ĩgacooka kũgĩa nĩĩgakorwo ĩrĩ nene mũno.
so that the plenteousnes shall not be once asene in the land by reason of that hunger that shall come after for it shalbe exceading great
32 Gĩtũmi kĩa Firaũni aheo kĩroto kĩu maita meerĩ, nĩ tondũ Ngai nĩatuĩte nĩegwĩka ũndũ ũcio, na ekũwĩka o narua.
And as concernynge that the dreame was dubled vnto Pharao the second tyme it belokeneth that the thynge is certanly prepared of God ad that God will shortly brynge it to passe.
33 “Rĩu Firaũni nĩacarie mũndũ ũũĩ gũkũũrana maũndũ na mũndũ mũũgĩ, amũtue mũrũgamĩrĩri wa bũrũri wa Misiri.
Now therfore let Pharao provyde for a man of vnderstondynge and wysdome and sett him over the lande of Egipte.
34 O na ningĩ Firaũni nĩagĩthuure atabarĩri a bũrũri a kuoyaga gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithano kĩa magetha ma Misiri mĩaka-inĩ ĩyo mũgwanja ya bũthi.
And let Pharao make officers ouer the lande and take vp the fyfte parte of the land of Egipte in the vij. plenteous yeres
35 Nao nĩmacookanĩrĩrie irio icio ciothe cia mĩaka ĩyo mĩega ĩrooka, na ngano ĩyo ĩkorwo watho-inĩ wa Firaũni, ĩigwo matũũra-inĩ ĩrĩ irio.
and let them gather all the foode of these good yeres that come ad lay vp corne vnder the power of Pharo: that there may be foode in the cities
36 Nacio irio icio ciagĩrĩire kũigwo irĩ mũthiithũ wa bũrũri, ikaahũthĩrwo hĩndĩ ĩrĩa ya mĩaka mũgwanja ya ngʼaragu ĩrĩa ĩkaagĩa Misiri, nĩgeetha bũrũri ndũkanathũkio nĩ ngʼaragu ĩyo.”
and there let them kepte it: that there may be foode in stoore in the lande agaynst the. vij. yeres of hunger which shall come in the lande of Egipte and that the lande perishe not thorow hunger.
37 Firaũni na anene ake makĩona mũbango ũcio ũrĩ mwega.
And the saynge pleased Pharao ad all his seruauntes.
38 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Firaũni akĩmooria atĩrĩ, “No tuone mũndũ ũngĩ ta ũyũ, mũndũ ũrĩ na roho wa Ngai thĩinĩ wake?”
Than sayde Pharao vnto his seruavauntes: where shall we fynde soch a ma as this is that hath the sprete of God in him?
39 Firaũni agĩkĩĩra Jusufu atĩrĩ, “Kuona atĩ Ngai nĩakũmenyithĩtie maũndũ maya mothe-rĩ, gũtirĩ mũndũ ũngĩ ũngĩkũũrana maũndũ na mũũgĩ ta we.
wherfore Pharao sayde vnto Ioseph: for as moch as God hath shewed the all this there is no man of vnderstondyng nor of wysdome lyke vnto the
40 Wee nĩwe ũkũrũgamĩrĩra nyũmba yakwa ya ũthamaki, na andũ akwa othe marĩathĩkagĩra watho waku. Ũndũ ngũgũkĩra naguo no atĩrĩ, niĩ nĩ niĩ Mũthamaki.”
Thou therfore shalt be ouer my house and acordinge to thy worde shall all my people obey: only in the kynges seate will I be aboue the.
41 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Firaũni akĩĩra Jusufu atĩrĩ, “Kuuma rĩu nĩndagũtua mũrũgamĩrĩri wa bũrũri wothe wa Misiri.”
And he sayde vnto Ioseph: beholde I haue sett the ouer all the lande of Egipte.
42 Ningĩ Firaũni akĩruta gĩcũhĩ gĩake kĩa mũhũũri kuuma kĩara gĩake agĩgĩĩkĩra kĩara-inĩ kĩa Jusufu. Agĩcooka akĩmũhumba nguo cia gatani njega, na kĩrengeeri gĩa thahabu ngingo.
And he toke off his rynge from his fyngre and put it vpon Iosephs fingre and arayed him in raymet of bisse and put a golden cheyne aboute his necke
43 Ningĩ agĩtũma akuuo na ngaari yake ya ita, arĩ mũndũ wa keerĩ harĩ we wathani-inĩ, nao andũ magĩthiĩ makĩanagĩrĩra marĩ mbere yake atĩrĩ, “Eherai njĩra-inĩ!” Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Firaũni agĩtua Jusufu mũrũgamĩrĩri wa bũrũri wothe wa Misiri.
and set him vpon the best charett that he had saue one. And they cryed before him Abrech ad that Pharao had made him ruelar ouer all the lande of Egipte.
44 Ningĩ Firaũni akĩĩra Jusufu atĩrĩ, “Nĩ niĩ Firaũni, no rĩrĩ, hatarĩ na rũtha rwaku, gũtirĩ mũndũ ũgeeka ũndũ atarĩ na rũtha rwaku gũkũ Misiri guothe.”
And Pharao sayde vnto Ioseph: I am Pharao without thi will shall no man lifte vp ether his hande or fote in all the lande of Egipte.
45 Nake Firaũni agĩĩta Jusufu Zafenathu-Panea, na akĩmũhe Asenathu mwarĩ wa Potifera, mũthĩnjĩri-ngai wa Onu, atuĩke mũtumia wake. Nake Jusufu agĩtuĩkania bũrũri wothe wa Misiri.
And be called Iosephs name Zaphnath Paenea. And he gaue him to wyfe Asnath the doughter of Potiphara preast of On. Than went Ioseph abrode in the lade of Egipte.
46 Jusufu aarĩ na mĩaka mĩrongo ĩtatũ rĩrĩa atoonyire ũtungata-inĩ wa Firaũni mũthamaki wa Misiri. Nake Jusufu akĩehera mbere ya Firaũni, agĩtuĩkania bũrũri wothe wa Misiri.
And he was. xxx. yere olde whe he stode before Pharao kynge of Egipte. And than Ioseph departed from Pharao and went thorow out all the lande of Egipte.
47 Na rĩrĩ, ihinda rĩa mĩaka ĩyo mũgwanja ya bũthi, bũrũri ũcio ũgĩciara maciaro maingĩ mũno.
And in the. vij. pleteous yeres they made sheves and gathered
48 Nake Jusufu agĩcookanĩrĩria irio ciothe cia bũrũri wa Misiri iria ciagĩire kuo mĩaka ĩyo mũgwanja ya bũthi, na agĩciigithia matũũra-inĩ marĩa manene. O itũũra inene akaiga irio iria ciakũragio mĩgũnda-inĩ ĩrĩa yarĩthiũrũrũkĩirie.
vp all the fode of the. vij. plenteous yeres which were in the lande of Egipte and put it in to the cities. And he put the food of the feldes that grewe rounde aboute euery cyte: euen in the same.
49 Jusufu agĩkĩigithia ngano nyingĩ mũno, o ta mũthanga wa iria-inĩ; yarĩ nyingĩ mũno, o nginya agĩtiga kũiga maandĩko ma mũigana wayo tondũ ndĩngĩathimĩkire.
And Ioseph layde vp corne in stoore lyke vnto the sande of the see in multitude out of mesure vntyll he left nombrynge: For it was with out nombre.
50 Mĩaka ya ngʼaragu ĩtaanakinya-rĩ, Jusufu nĩaciarĩirwo tũhĩĩ twĩrĩ nĩ Asenathu mwarĩ wa Potifera, mũthĩnjĩri-ngai wa Onu.
And vnto Ioseph were borne. ij. sonnes before the yeres of hunger came which Asnath the doughter of Potiphara preast of On bare vnto him.
51 Jusufu agĩĩta irigithathi rĩake Manase, akiuga atĩrĩ, “Nĩ tondũ Ngai nĩatũmĩte ndiganĩrwo nĩ thĩĩna wakwa wothe na nyũmba ya baba yothe.”
And he called the name of the first sonne Manasse for God (sayde he) hath made me forgett all my laboure and all my fathers husholde.
52 Nako kahĩĩ ga keerĩ, agĩgeeta Efiraimu, akiuga atĩrĩ, “Nĩ tondũ Ngai nĩatũmĩte ngĩe na maciaro bũrũri-inĩ wa mĩnyamaro yakwa.”
The seconde called he Ephraim for God (sayde he) hath caused me to growe in the lande of my trouble.
53 Nayo mĩaka mũgwanja ya bũthi kũu Misiri ĩgĩthira,
And when the. vij. yeres plenteousnes that was in the lands of Egypte were ended
54 na mĩaka mũgwanja ya ngʼaragu ĩkĩambĩrĩria, o ta ũrĩa Jusufu oigĩte. Kwarĩ na ngʼaragu mabũrũri-inĩ marĩa mangĩ mothe, no bũrũri wa Misiri wothe warĩ na irio.
than came the. vij. yeres of derth acordynge as Ioseph had sayde. And the derth was in all landes: but in the lade of Egipte was there yet foode.
55 Na rĩrĩa andũ a Misiri othe maambĩrĩirie kũigua ngʼaragu-rĩ, magĩkaĩra Firaũni amahe irio. Nake Firaũni akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Thiĩi kũrĩ Jusufu na mwĩke ũrĩa ekũmwĩra.”
When now all the lande of Egipte began to hunger than cried the people to Pharao for bread. And Pharao sayde vnto all Egipte: goo vnto Ioseph and what he sayth to you that doo
56 Rĩrĩa ngʼaragu yagĩire bũrũri wothe-rĩ, Jusufu akĩhingũra makũmbĩ ma irio, akĩenderia andũ a Misiri ngano, nĩgũkorwo ngʼaragu yarĩ nene mũno Misiri guothe.
And when the derth was thorow out all the lande Ioseph opened all that was in the cities and solde vnto the Egiptias And hunger waxed fore in the land of Egipte.
57 Namo mabũrũri mothe magĩũka Misiri kũrĩ Jusufu kũgũra ngano, tondũ ngʼaragu ĩyo yarĩ nene mũno thĩ yothe.
And all countrees came to Egipte to Ioseph for to bye corne: because that the hunger was so sore in all landes.
