1 Thuutha ũcio-rĩ, mũndũ ũrĩa watwaragĩra mũthamaki ndibei, na mũndũ ũrĩa wathondekagĩra mũthamaki wa Misiri mĩgate-rĩ, makĩhĩtĩria mwathi wao, ũcio mũthamaki wa Misiri.
And it was after the things these they sinned [the] cup bearer of [the] king of Egypt and the baker to master their to [the] king of Egypt.
2 Firaũni mũthamaki ũcio akĩrakario nĩ anene acio ake eerĩ, mũnene wa arĩa maamũtwaragĩra ndibei na mũnene wa arĩa maamũthondekagĩra mĩgate,
And he was angry Pharaoh towards two of officials his towards [the] chief of the cup bearers and towards [the] chief of the bakers.
3 na akĩmahingĩrithia nyũmba ya mũnene wa arĩa arangĩri njeera, o ĩrĩa Jusufu oheetwo.
And he put them in [the] custody of [the] house of [the] commander of the bodyguards into [the] house of the prison [the] place where Joseph [was] imprisoned there.
4 Mũnene wa arangĩri akĩmaneana kũrĩ Jusufu amarorage, nake Jusufu akĩmatungatĩra. Na thuutha wa gũikara kĩoho-inĩ kwa ihinda-rĩ,
And he appointed [the] commander of the bodyguards Joseph with them and he served them and they were days in custody.
5 o ũmwe wa acio eerĩ, ũrĩa watwaragĩra mũthamaki ndibei na mũthondeki wa mĩgate ya mũthamaki wa Misiri, o acio maahingĩirwo njeera, makĩroota irooto ũtukũ ũmwe, na o kĩroto kĩarĩ na mũtaũrĩre wakĩo.
And they dreamed a dream both of them each own dream his in a night one each according to [the] interpretation of dream his the cup bearer and the baker who [belonged] to [the] king of Egypt who [were] imprisoned in [the] house of the prison.
6 Rĩrĩa Jusufu aathiire kũrĩ o rũciinĩ rwa mũthenya ũyũ ũngĩ-rĩ, akĩona marĩ na kĩeha.
And he came to them Joseph in the morning and he saw them and [were] they looking dejected.
7 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio akĩũria anene acio a Firaũni, o acio moohetwo hamwe nake nyũmba-inĩ ya mwathi wake, atĩrĩ, “Nĩ kĩĩ gĩtũmĩte mũtukie ithiithi cianyu ũmũthĩ?”
And he asked [the] officials of Pharaoh who [were] with him in [the] custody of [the] house of master his saying why? [are] faces your sad this day.
8 Nao makĩmũcookeria atĩrĩ, “Ithuĩ ithuerĩ nĩtũrotete irooto, na gũtirĩ mũndũ wa gũcitaũra.” Jusufu akĩmooria atĩrĩ, “Githĩ ũtaũri ti wa Ngai? Njĩĩrai irooto cianyu.”
And they said to him a dream we dreamed and [is one who] interprets there not it and he said to them Joseph ¿ not [belong] to God [do] interpretations recount [it] please to me.
9 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio mũnene wa arĩa maatwaragĩra mũthamaki ndibei akĩĩra Jusufu kĩroto gĩake. Akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Kĩroto-inĩ gĩakwa ndĩronire mũthabibũ ũrĩ mbere yakwa,
And he recounted [the] chief of the cup bearers dream his to Joseph and he said to him in dream my and there! a vine [was] before me.
10 na ũraarĩ na honge ithatũ. Nacio iraaruta kĩro o ũguo iracanũka, nacio imanjĩka cia thabibũ irerua.
And [were] on the vine three branches and it when [it was] budding it went up blossom its they ripened clusters its grapes.
11 Na niĩ ndĩrakorwo nyiitĩte gĩkombe kĩa Firaũni na guoko, ndĩrooya thabibũ icio, ndĩraacihihĩra gĩkombe-inĩ kĩa Firaũni, na ndĩramũnengera.”
And [the] cup of Pharaoh [was] in hand my and I took the grapes and I squeezed them into [the] cup of Pharaoh and I put the cup on [the] palm of Pharaoh.
12 Jusufu akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Ũtaũri wakĩo nĩ ũyũ: Honge icio ithatũ nĩ mĩthenya ĩtatũ.
And he said to him Joseph this [is] interpretation its [the] three the branches [are] three days they.
13 Mĩthenya ĩtatũ ĩtanathira-rĩ, Firaũni nĩegũgũtũũgĩria na agũcookie wĩra-inĩ waku, na ũcooke kũnengagĩra Firaũni gĩkombe gĩake, o ta ũrĩa wekaga rĩrĩa warĩ mũmũhei ndibei.
In again - three days he will lift up Pharaoh head your and he will restore you to office your and you will put [the] cup of Pharaoh in hand his according to the custom former when you were cup bearer his.
14 No rĩrĩa maũndũ maku makaagaacĩra-rĩ, ũkandirikana ũnjiguĩre tha, ũngweete harĩ Firaũni, ũndute gũkũ njeera.
That except you have remembered me with you when it will go well for you and you will do please with me loyalty and you will bring to remembrance me to Pharaoh and you will bring out me from the house this.
15 Tondũ nĩkũnyiitwo ndaanyiitirwo na hinya, ngĩrutwo bũrũri wa Ahibirania, na ningĩ o na gũkũ gũtirĩ ũndũ mũũru ndeekĩte wa gũtũma njikio njeera.”
For certainly I was stolen from [the] land of the Hebrews and also here not I have done anything that they have put me in the pit.
16 Na rĩrĩa mũnene wa arĩa athondeki mĩgate onire atĩ Jusufu nĩataũra kĩroto kĩu wega-rĩ, akĩĩra Jusufu atĩrĩ, “O na niĩ nĩndĩrarootete: Ndĩrakuuĩte ikabũ ithatũ cia mĩgate na mũtwe.
And he saw [the] chief of the bakers that good he had interpreted and he said to Joseph also I in dream my and there! three baskets of white bread [were] on head my.
17 Gĩkabũ kĩrĩa kĩrarigĩtie igũrũ kĩraarĩ na mĩgate ya mĩthemba yothe ĩthondekeirwo Firaũni; no nacio nyoni iramĩrĩĩaga ĩrĩ o gĩkabũ-inĩ ndĩgĩkuuĩte na mũtwe.”
And [was] in the basket upper some of all [the] food of Pharaoh [the] work of a baker and the bird[s] [was] eating them from the basket from on head my.
18 Jusufu akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Ũtaũri wakĩo nĩ ũyũ: Ikabũ icio ithatũ nĩ mĩthenya ĩtatũ.
And he answered Joseph and he said this [is] interpretation its [the] three the baskets [are] three days they.
19 Mĩthenya ĩtatũ ĩtanathira-rĩ, Firaũni nĩagagũtinithia mũtwe na akwambithie mũtĩ igũrũ. Nacio nyoni nĩikarĩa nyama cia mwĩrĩ waku.”
In again - three days he will lift up Pharaoh head your from on you and he will hang you on a tree and it will eat the bird[s] flesh your from on you.
20 Na rĩrĩ, mũthenya wa gatatũ warĩ wa kũririkana gũciarwo kwa Firaũni, nake akĩrugithĩria anene ake iruga inene. Nake akĩririkana mũnene wa arĩa maamũtwaragĩra ndibei na mũnene wa arĩa maamũthondekagĩra mĩgate mbere ya anene arĩa angĩ ake:
And it was - on the day third ([the] day of *LAH(b)*) being born Pharaoh and he made a feast for all servants his and he lifted up [the] head of - [the] chief of the cup bearers and [the] head of [the] chief of the bakers in among servants his.
21 Agĩcookia mũnene wa arĩa maamũtwaragĩra ndibei wĩra-inĩ wake, nĩgeetha acooke gũtwarĩra Firaũni gĩkombe rĩngĩ.
And he restored [the] chief of the cup bearers to cup bearing his and he put the cup on [the] palm of Pharaoh.
22 No rĩrĩ, mũnene wa arĩa maamũthondekagĩra mĩgate-rĩ, akĩmũcuria mũtĩ igũrũ o ta ũrĩa Jusufu aamerĩte ũtaũri-inĩ wake.
And [the] chief of the bakers he hanged just as he had interpreted for them Joseph.
23 No mũnene ũcio wa arĩa maatwaragĩra Firaũni ndibei ndaigana kũririkana Jusufu; nĩariganĩirwo nĩwe.
And not he remembered [the] chief of the cup bearers Joseph and he forgot him.
